I like celebrating my personal running accomplishments with ice cream. I decided to treat my local Greenville friends with an after dinner treat at the nearby Cold Stone Creamery.
Celebrating a marathon completed is always a fun, gut checking, tiring and usually a memorable experience. As such, celebrating one I completed in South Carolina on 10/22/22 with ice cream is usually what keeps me going, among other things. With that said, my friends and I came here around 7:30pm. There was a line that kind of peaked out the door. I guess there were others who did the same thing we did with the early diner so they can partake in the ice cream soon after. Our entire time spent during my experience didn't last 30 minutes, but it surely felt that way waiting in the line. When the staff started to sing randomly, it brought back memories of when Cold
stone Creamery was in my neighborhood back home but they closed shop in recent years. I'm glad the Cold Stone brand is still alive and continuing on the legacy of mixing stuff into ice cream for an incredible delicacy of a dessert. The ice cream parlor was large enough to support a lot of people either waiting to be served or dining in. They have some tables there, but majority of us were in line to order. My usual go to order wherever Cold Stone is is the chocolate devotion. On this visit, I ended up buying the medium sized take home pint that costed $12.99, which wasn't terrible, but value wise, it was worth it, especially due to the aforementioned reason.
The overall experience here at this Cold Stone Creamery here in Greenville South Carolina was good, since I was here alive And celebrating another marathon completed in the state. Plus, I usually can't say no to ice cream anyhow. Although waiting in a line for 10 minutes was dramatic enough, the line moved along and we got to the counter relatively easily. The ambiance here was nice, as with the
Company. The service here was good and friendly, even with the random hymns the staff sang, it was nice to be here vacationing in Greenville, SC. With that said, the experience was enjoyable of course. I saved my ice cream and enjoyed it in the comforts of my hotel room. Pro tip: ask for a utensil of some kind to eat your ice cream. I had to ask the staff at the hotel I'm staying at whether or not they keep disposable utensils laying around at all hours of the day. Fortunately, they do. There's not much Cold Stone Creamery locations nowadays since the corporate started to downsize its footprint in the marketplace. If you do come across this location or any other Cold Stone Creamery location, help them out. There's always room for ice cream! At least in my experience, that is. Definitely recommend their chocolate devotion, if you're addicted to chocolate like me. They're one of the better ice cream parlors out there, Where they mix stuff into the ice cream. Not sure who else does that.
This Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop is located in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash. Cash is King! I decided to pay for my friends' order because friendship is priceless and they were able
To drop me off at the GSP airport early the next morning. I was glad that the line moved swiftly other wise, I'd get annoyed lol. Thankfully ice cream is usually quick to serve up and the line moved quicker than I anticipated. As far as parking goes, this Cold Stone Creamery location is apart of a larger commercial zone of shops and assorted eateries. They have a generous helping of parking stalls to meet your needs.
