She informed us that she would have the estimate before Christmas. The company had work in the same neighborhood where I am building and I spoke with them and was pleased with their work and their responses. Comes the week of December 16th I call to verify we will still get the quote. I spoke with Jordan (again from the office) and she informed me that Monday the 23 would be the latest but she may make it by Friday. Needless to say I didn't receive it. I called on the 26th and asked about it and again Jordan said it will be soon but, "her designs are a lot more time consuming and cannot be rushed. Considering our contractor's designs and the holiday season, she is backed up in that department." From my perspective, their designer must be challenged with time management and the communication from the company to the customer could use some work. I waited until near the end of today (January 3) and called again. I spoke with Jordan and there was no reason just having to wait. I said you do not need to wait any longer as I will not consider your quote. I asked to speak with someone there and was told (paraphrasing) "I don't think I should be giving you any additional information. Have a nice day. goodbye." I was and continue to be unemotional. I wanted to pass on my experience and speak with them, Instead, I ended up writing another google review. There field workers may be great. The finished product may be great. However, I already know their communication is challenging. Their time management is questionable. When You are about to spend what I consider to be a large amount of money, I want better odds. For anyone re4adin this, how will this company get better if they do not get the opportunity to see what they put their potential customers through, Perhaps Jordan is one of the owners. I look at this as a good thing. I avoided spending my hard earned money on a company that apparently will not allow their frustrated prospective customer to speak with anyone in management. Good luck.

I had an erosion problem in a very small back yard and drew up a plan for extensive retaining walls and regrading to give my dogs a place to get their needed exercise without tearing up my lawn. I had prior satisfactory experience with the Rock Creek group and they were my first call. Their quote for the work was a bit salty, but I had faith that the quality of workmanship of this company would be well worth the cost. What I got was a spectacular final product. They knew how to tweak my plan, after consultation with me, to best fit the surrounding landscape. They did a fantastic job in keeping with my grading plan. They were very careful to not damage my existing lawn with their many front-end loader trips, the crew worked diligently, and despite a language barrier, were interested in hearing my minor concerns during the entire process. Thanks to Manse and Jack Jolly, Brandon, Roberto, Alejandro, Victor, Ignacio, and Francisco for their hard work and diligence for making my plan come to life in a spectacular result. Special thanks to Taylor Lefler for responding to all of my calls and generally keeping the project on track. I highly recommend this company.

The job was removing , grading and refreshing years of built up garden dirt in two garden beds one with three large bamboo Nandinas and working around several existing shrubs at front of bed. The second bed would be taken down to foundation , slope graded and two new shrubs . There was a small grove of bamboo Nandinas around a pine tree area to be all taken out. I discussed with the owner when we looked at the job that Bamboo Nandinas have a strong invasive root system, that I had been battling them for a while and I wanted a professional to dig it all out. Lastly I 4 new shrubs to plant. . One guy started on a large garden bed.. When I came to look it it had pine straw already covering it. . But I could see all kinds of debris mixed in . When I pulled back more pine straw I could see that only a foot and a half was evenly graded downward with no dips or humps. they were large invasive Nandina roots not removed thus the uneven ground. There was all the old decay , , fallen bark that was just left. The larger shrubs in front he just left years of debris and decay around the base of the shrubs. Removing Bamboo Nandinas the process involves taking all the roots out or they just come back in a nano second. I expected a professional landscaper to know this. The owner showed up and asked what the problem was I said I expected all the roots taken out and the surface level. He got testy, said he considered the bed done started throwing the level around ( too fast for me to see) and said he considered it fine. Threatened to leave and walk off the job. No attempt to find a resolution. It was 96 degrees, I had a huge mess in my yard, so I said the roots need to come out for this kind of plant I will just work on this bed for now. Not much later he comes over and says it's all done. Well, yep all the new work was covered in pine straw. He had also fluffed up a lot of pine straw around the pine area were the Nandina grove was taken out, which was also a path to next door. The newly planted hydrangas had a tall decorative ring around the base so I could not see the how it was planted.. I did not see who planted the 4 shrubs, or put the pine straw down. I paid the company in full because I wanted them off my property and based on his attitude earlier I guessed he would not fix anything I was unhappy with. After they left I noticed at the bottom of the slope there was a hole.. No invasive roots removed , the other 4 Nandina root ball holes were not filled but Instead covered up with pinestraw so you would not know the holes were there . Shrubs not planted correctly . One of my shrubs had 4 inches of rootball out of top of ground, none of the rootball were soaked as is standard for shrub planting. I had to replant 3 of the shrubs and make holes deeper and wider , and yes there were some old roots that had to be pulled out to make the hole big enough. But it took maybe an extra 5 minutes to do it right . Leaving dangerous holes and then to cover them in pine straw is what drove me to write this review. I actually slipped in one of the holes and this should never happen. The company has some good reviews as well, this just happened to be my experience . .
