DO NOT HIRE! Michael DeLong overpromises, but underdelivers. During the initial walk-through, he…read morewas enthusiastic but took no notes about specific things I wanted done. He spoke in vague generalities, about how "exquisite" the final result would be. He was rarely ever on the job site, except to collect checks. A lot of rework was required. Freshly painted walls would be damaged (chipped or gouged) then need to be repainted. Some things were installed incorrectly. I had to repeatedly ask about his availability and potential completion dates. He would not respond to simple text messages for hours, sometimes more than a day. Or he would vaguebook by saying he'd be done by the end of the week. If you want high-quality workmanship at a good price in a reasonable time, keep looking.
