This past Saturday was my third trip to this office. My initial visit as a potential MMJ card holder (before rec. passed here in CO) was less than professional, but I let it go because I really needed to get the card. The entire appointment the first time probably took close to three hours... It was horrible. The old doctor that used to be there (if he passed, I am very sorry to speak ill of the dead at all) pretty much groped me while listening to my heartbeat. It was way uncomfortable. He also messed up on my paperwork so it took me like three months to get the card. The second appointment was better, but even with an appointment it was about two hours out of my day just to renew. The third, and hopefully last, appointment to this office was much better, aside from the extremely rude and emotionless receptionist. She was so unfriendly and unresponsive to anything and anyone that I automatically fell into a horrible mood. I already didn't want to be there, and she just compounded the feeling ten-fold. I was so annoyed by her that I had to redo one of the forms three times. I just wanted to get out of there, so I had messier handwriting than usual. She was condescending multiple times and I had an urge to hit her so badly that I was disgusted at myself for feeling that way. On the plus side, everyone else, including the new doctor I've seen twice now, was very nice, and this appointment only took around an hour. In conclusion, if you must go here, I'm sure it's not the worst place, but I will be happy to never have to go here again, if I'm lucky. read more

Probably on of the worst experiences I have had with any business. To start I made an appointment with them in advance and had all my paper work filled out online and submitted prior to my appointment, as well as all my medical documentation since I was a previous client. On the day of my appointment I showed up at five minutes before my appointment and it took over 50 minutes to be scene by the doctor. When I did get my consultation it took only about 5 minutes for the doctor to look at my scare and get me my recommendation. Where you actually do the consultation is in the back of the office with curtain dividers, so there is no privacy and other patients can hear you talk to the doctor. After the appointment I talked to the staff about If I needed two recommendations since I am 19 and said no since I was already grandfathered in. A few days went by and I got a email from the state of Colorado saying that I needed an addition recommendation. I gave Cohen Medical Centers a call back and spoke to Robert the owner and he was not up do date on the law that has been in place for over a year now. He was being extremely arrogant and said that all I was looking to do was argue with him. All I told him is that as cannabis doctors they should be informed and he said that they shouldn't be expected to know the laws when they change and that the State of Colorado never told them about the law. At the end I asked to get a refund for my consult and he said he would pull my recommendation if he did issue a refund. Overall, this place is an absolute joke of an establishment and should not be even considered medical establishment. Looking at the reviews I am not the only one who has had this experience and they refuse to change. I would highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Simply because they're rude and they treat customers as if they're lying about their injuries. LISA from cohen medical center in Denver is really rude. Instead of her helping me out when I had a question about the state fees she was rude and made me want to never go back there again based off of how uncomfortable she made me feel. As a patient I want to feel welcomed. As a patient you'd think they'd be more understanding as well as a bit more helpful with paperwork and whatnot. I've been dealing with back pain since I was 17 and I'm 24 years old now. That's 7 years I have been dealing with back pain. When I have gone into this medical center to get evaluated they make me feel beyond uncomfortable when they ask me about my injuries. They ask you over and over again about certain things as if you're lying. Unfortunately I was one of the few that endured injuries at such a young age and now that I'm older I have to try my hardest to get through my days while coping with pain. I get that the drs can't just give out a medical card to anyone but that doesn't mean they should continue to interrogate you after they seen all your medical records (especially when the injuries are pretty serious) I paid the fees and went through with my card renewal because I need my medicine. But next year count on me finding a better place to renew my card at. I used to recommend this place to people but looks like I can't anymore due to their poor customer service. read more

I had a great time here, it didn't take long. The staff was very knowledgeable about the steps you have to go to to get your medical card.

Seems this place is geared more towards patient care instead of seeing as many patients in one day as possible, to maximize profits! This place is all about money, on a good notes long as you have money you will get what you want, on a bad note there's a lot of paperwork and very tedious steps involved in this process and the word "TERRIBLE" does not articulate how poorly they prepare you for the next many steps involved in the process. Once you leave their office, GOOD LUCK. They give you something called "CMC" send off instructions. The only problem with their instructions is that it only covers 3/4 of what you need to send off. After following the instructions verbatim, I came across a couple forms that weren't in the instructions. So I called and asked if I needed to send it and if so WHY wasn't it included in the "SEND OFF INSTRUCTIONS" Here's what she said, GET THIS; "We can't include EVERYTHING that needs to be sent off in the send off instructions....... " hahahahhahaha! (Yea, think about that statement for a second.) Is that not the whole damn point of "instructions" read more

Came here as a first time Colorado patient. The whole process was fast and easy. All the staff was nice and professional. Highly recommend this office. Medical records are only required if you want an increased plant yield. read more

I first went here in 2014 to renew my MM license and the appt. went fine with little wait time and friendly staff. The polar opposite occurred during my visit in DEC 2015. I made an appt. for 1 PM and arrived right on time. The skanky ghetto style "lobby" was packed with people and there was nowhere to sit. I pre-filled out my paperwork in advance to save time, told it would be about an hour and a half to see a doctor, despite having made an appt. 2 weeks prior. When I asked why so long, the 2 staffers got an attitude and were rude and aloof from then on. I suspect they made me wait even longer just to "show me who's boss' They know they have you by the short ones once you're there, because it's a pain to have to find another dr. , so they treat you with open contempt and zero respect. You feel like you're in a low rent methadone clinic; not pretty. So after more than an hour wait- I finally get to see some clerk who takes blood pressure and goes through the motions to make it appear to be "legit" and all. Then they tell me it will be about another 90 minutes for the 2nd exam- unbelievable! With no place to sit in a tiny lobby packed with people, , I stepped outside for fresh air, figuring I had an hour more wait as I was told. 10 minutes later I walk in and they say " we were looking all over for you and you missed your slot" - I explained that I was told one hour more and just stepped out for a few min and again , the bad attitude and rudeness. They made me wait another 1/2 hour to see the "doctor" , some hack who asked a few stupid questions then sent me on my way -over 2 HOURS AFTER MY SO-CALLED APPT. Avoid this dump at all costs- they are incompetent, dishonest, rude people who don't care about their patients time or money ( They also charged 5.00 more than they quoted on the phone, which I paid just to get out of there) Another scam is that they offer to do your paperwork and mail it for another 50.00. If you turn that option down and opt to do it yourself, they intentionally punish you by giving you the wrong address for the state MM board, and they put that incorrect address UPSIDE DOWN to throw off the USPS and screw up your attempts to mail it. They also intentionally give you the wrong info and instructions with the hope that after your renewal doesn't come through due to the subversion of the info, hopefully you will cave in next time and pony up the $$$ so it actually gets to the right place. I caught them at their petty little game, which they denied any knowledge of. Please find yourself an alternative- anywhere but this scammy, scummy dump of a "medical practice". read more

Had a horrible experience this morning at Cohen Medical Centers. Dr. Cohen came highly recommended by many of my friends and colleagues, so I was taken aback by the treatment I received at the reception desk. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. The waiting room seemed like a "walmart' style processing facility, and if you had any questions regarding the process, you were brushed aside and chided. I don't know if the receptionist was having a bad day? Will not return. It seemed like the factory farm of MMJ doctor clinics. read more
