Good food and cocktails. Service was great. I plan to return to try more of the entrees.

I can't fully express how grateful and happy I am that we got to meet Chris Torres today. We came…read morein with family and friends just to enjoy some drinks, and he took care of us in a way no one ever has before. His hospitality, kindness, and attention to every detail made our experience truly unforgettable. We're so thankful for the amazing service, and honestly, we would come back again because of him. Thank you, Chris, for giving us some of the best hospitality in the world -- you truly made our day special.

Let me start off by saying that I had no expectations when visiting this venue for the first time…read morethis evening. They were starting a karaoke night and I figured since I enjoy performing that this would give me an opportunity to check out the venue for possible future event visits. The event was scheduled from 8pm to 12pm or later. We arrived 10 min. early in case there was already a crowd. GM Chris came to the door and asked us what time it was(?), that should have sent a red flag as he was the point person for running this event. We spent 10 min speaking with the Pink Piano owner next door and had a great conversation. At 8pm we went in and there was 1 individual sitting at the bar and the bartender. I ordered a scotch and a neutral for my disabled spouse. At 8:46pm with just 4 people (included) waiting for the karaoke, I went to the bar to close out my tab. The total for my drink and spouse came out to $19 and I left a $5 tip for the bartender who spent the entire time talking to the young man sitting at the bar. These are very difficult financial times for many people and to charge this type of prices for drinks, especially in Lakeland, Fl is absurd. As a very well organized individual who has managed many venues in his past along with being a professional performer, this was a complete disappointment from an operational point of view. If you are going to advertise a venue with a start time, at least either start on time or apologize to patrons who made provisions to attend the venue for events. My time is just as important as those running this establishment. Making arrangements to bring out a disabled spouse and having to wait almost an hour is totally unacceptable. If this is the type of operational standards then I along with my spuse will patron those establishments who have a deep appreciation for return customers and their financial contribution to the running of the business. I will leave it with this, if people choose to allow business's to simply run it without any regard for the paying customer, then you deserve what you get.

A lot of the event was super lively; people could shop from…read morevendors, pick blueberries, drink blueberry adjacent wines and beers, and have foods with a blueberry twist on them. Luckily there was a lot of outdoor seating, so it wasn't too difficult to find a seat. I ended up getting the sweet blueberry wine, blueberry flatbread (had caramelized onions, arugula, and prosciutto with a blueberries glaze drizzle), and the blueberry shortcake. The wine was lightly sweet and not dry. The blueberry flatbread tasted more of the caramelized onions and the blueberry drizzle added a little hint of sweetness and tartness. My favorite though was the blueberry shortcake. It was soft and the blueberry compote was absolutely delicious. Although it was rich, it didn't feel heavy. I wish I had gotten another slice. In general, I've been here before and it's nice and cozy inside with great service! I love trying all the flavors available with their wine and beer flights (some are seasonal). Honestly, sometimes I buy their wine by the bottle in stores because it's actually just that good.

Service was great and so was the food. I got the sangria and the wine burger. Hubs got the tacos. Love their French fries too! The crispiness and the seasoning on them is just plain good. The wine burger was delicious and probably my fav entree they have.

We were able to use whatever vendors we wanted as long as they were licensed and insured. The space is large and we divided the main space into two separate rooms using pipe and draping to keep the ceremony area separate from the dining area. They have a nice bar area and prep kitchen making it a lot easier for caterers. They have a courtyard also that can serve as the ceremony area if preferred. We used that area for our cocktail hour. They were responsive, articulate, and able to answer whatever question we threw at them. Additionally, they have a bride and groom suite, making it super easy to get dressed at the venue. We highly recommend this venue as they could accommodate everything we needed for our daughter's wedding.

After the ceremony on one side, we adjourned to the fenced courtyard for a coffee break and appetizers while the wedding party took photos inside. The courtyard has string lights and plenty of space for the ~125 guests to mingle. Once we returned inside, the ceremony space became the dance floor and we enjoyed a buffet-style dinner at the tables. There's so much space inside that there are so many options for your event. Mostly plain brick walls so the event will be what you make it to be!

    Smith Family Ranch - Rah

Cornfusion. That's why we recently went to the Smith Ranch. I know they have other services…read more(weddings, etc), but my experience is based on Cornfusion, just so you know. We went as a part of a large group for a homeschool field trip. It's a farm so expect long bumpy dirt roads and be aware of where you put your feet. Again, it's a working farm. This really cute guy will greet you right away; he's got golden hair and the sweetest smile! His legs are often covered in mud, depicting what fun he has on the farm, but he probably won't jump on you. And his floppy ears and droopy cheeks just make me want to squeeze him. Do keep an eye out for him when parking your car. If you do the hayride, you'll see him again working as a ranch hand, corralling the cattle alongside the tractor, forever wagging that tail of his. As far as activities go, there are quite a few for some fall fun... as "fall" as Florida gets. There's a kiddie area with a fire truck to play on, swings, eats, pony rides (I think; it wasn't operational when we went), tractor train ride, and more. Elsewhere, there's a pumpkin patch, Duck Race (rubber ducks), photo ops, a giant bounce pillow (it's like a bounce house except it's a big ol' pillow), giant tubes like hamster balls to roll in, cornhole and our kid's favorite, the corn box! It's like a bi sand box except instead of sand, it's filled with dried corn. Who knew that could be so much fun?! The hayride takes you out through the farm in a trailer that happens to be partially covered; that was nice for us since it rained a bit. They provide food for feeding the cows, too. If you go at night, they have Zombie Paintball; you ride the hayride and shoot zombies. Sounds fun! Don't forget the corn maze! It's was a nice, quick trip through but I think we didn't go very deep. I'm sure there's more to it than what we did. We enjoyed ourselves and our kid was wiped out! The Smith family are awesome people so if you happen to have any questions or issues, let them know. Things to know: restrooms are PortOPotties and they do have handicap accessible ones. The food station DOES take cash or card. You'll be picking corn out of your clothes all day if you use the corn box, but it's worth it. It's pretty "stroller friendly" but it is still over grass. Just have fun! And give that cute guy some ear scratches when he says "hello!"

On this occasion we were here to celebrate a wedding. When you arrive you'll drive down a long dirt driveway, there isn't any gravel area so prepare to park on the lawn. The wedding ceremony was being held in a field and the reception was in the barn. It was a perfect country style wedding if that's you're thing. You know what's not my thing? Cow patties everywhere! From right outside my car door to the actual wedding aisle! I was surprised that even though the ceremony was held in a small field, the aisle wasn't even cleaned up for the bride. Walking up to the ceremony space we walked through a gate except they were doing construction on the ground; so there were large exposed pipes sitting in the ground covering a deep hole. In order to walk across, they put a small piece of plywood all the way over to one side and a traffic cone. It was definitely a safety hazard with so many kids running around and at night it was the only area with a light. Thankfully I had my phone flashlight to keep an eye on the ground as we walked back to the car. The barn was beautifully decorated with lots of twinkle lights and a stage for the bride and groom to sit. There were bathrooms in the barn as well but one was out of paper towels the entire time. Another room in the barn was reserved for the groomsmen to get ready. What I really liked was they lifted garage style doors on the side that had hid the kitchen. Once the doors were lifted you could get in line to be served by the caterers. It was definitely a unique place for a wedding but there were a few cosmetic things I would have changed and there's no good way to hide from wind or rain.
