We have had our Honda Crosstour for a year now. I have been back to the dealer twice for scheduled maintenance oil changes. Everyone at the dealership is very nice and they could not make the service experience any easier. You just drive under the canopy where you are greeted by a service representative and tell them what you are there for. I did not make prior appointments for either of the oil changes. The service was still done in a timely manner and the car was brought back to me after being washed. While the car was being serviced I had a very pleasant visit with my sales representative, Linda Freidrich. Linda remembered me (and my spouse who was not present on this visit) by name and also details of our previous interactions. I was told that I had a dangerous recall issue and to get my car in as soon as possible to a Honda Dealer. I just called Coggin and gave them my vin number. They verified that I have a recall on my seat weight indicating that my air bag could go off without warning. I asked for an appointment a month from now. They told me they could not fix the issue because they don't have the part! They say the parts are allocated to certain dealers and they don't know when they will get any in. Really? I am informed that I have a dangerous issue with a recall and no one has the part to fix it!!!! And the service guy didn't even care. So I told him I was going to leave a bad review. Don't go here. We just had service done on our Honda Pilot at Coggin Honda after walking out of Johnson Honda in Stuart last week. I had an appointment for in Stuart for a key fob to be synced to my car. Was told 1 hour max when mechanic took my car, was sent in for service person Lance to sign me in. This person lied to me and did not want to do business with us. Lance told me close to 2 hours! He was very unpleasant. Also when I looked at receipt it said $150 for key fob and $50 for an emergency key plus labor total around $280. Lance told me I had to purchase the emergency key because it was a package the keys came together. We still had the original emergency key and didn't need it. My husband and I walked out! I called manager he told me no one should have told me 1 hour max. We went to coggin today for 2 recalls, 4 new tires mounted/balanced , oil change, key fob/ no emergency key needed. 2 1/2 hours for everything. Key fob costs $100 less than Johnson Honda! We are purchasing our new Honda at Coggin. Thank you I wouldn't step into Johnson Honda again. read more

When I arrived a Coggin Honda I walked in and a gentleman approached me and asked if I had an appt. I stated yes gave my name and he said oh I don't see you on the appt book and I said well I have a 3 o'clock appt for an synthetic oil change. He asked me if I was looking for Acura or Honda, I stated my appt was here at Honda. Then he stated he found it and my advisor was Chris. Upon walking over to Chris he looks me up and asks me why I didn't take my car to Acura, did they not have any appts? I stated well I called before coming to make sure they would do an oil change on my Acura and they stated yes. Then proceeded to tell me my car needs all these maintenance things done then to tell me that he's not sure the Acura maintenance schedule and this is why they don't usually take care of these vehicles. So I told him to just take care of my oil change and I'll walk over to Acura to address any maintenance my vehicle needs. And which I did and not anything he said I needed was actually needed. So I'm waiting for my vehicle and the service advisor comes out and states your vehicle is in wash would you like to pay now I stated yes that would be great. My vehicle comes out from wash and as it's driving up I see something hanging from my vehicle, so the tech immediately goes to the advisor and he then comes out and gives me my keys I said wait there's something hanging from the bottom of my car and he said oh it was like that I said NO it WASNT! He then stated hold on let me go get the tech. They both come back out and the tech states it's from the car wash. And I said well you need to secure whatever that is because my car wasn't brought to you like that and I'm not taking it back like that. He said oh there's nothing I can do and walks away. Then the advisor then says that oh well he said we can't do anything then there's nothing we can do. I told the advisor that I'm taking my car to Acura right not and this isn't right that they refused to fix the part hanging. I went over to Acura where they took my car immediately back secured the piece that was MISSING A PUSH PIN and brought to the back to make sure he assured me and showed me it was secured. Regarding the parts department: I bought a HONDA battery for my Toyota Camry solely because of the 100 month warranty. They KNEW it was going into a Camry. I remember the conversation, as I was told I needed to give them the battery GROUP NUMBER since it was not a Honda that they could easily reference. Well, 3 years later their battery gave out. The parts guy told me that because it was not installed in a Honda that there was no warranty!! What! The warranty is the only reason I bought the battery from Honda. Bought a Nissan Rogue, here. I take it in as, to there service department after I purchase it. I make an appt and I'm there for 4-5 hrs waiting. I was told that I would have to take it to Nissan to have it fixed. Very displeased. I didn't go back there because it's obvious my time means nothing to them. I complained. I scheduled an appointment at Honda to have my car serviced. I knew I was going to be running late so I called and told them I would be late to my appointment and the lady told me it wouldn't be an issue. I arrived 30 minutes late. I knew I would be working with Luis. He was speaking with someone so once the lady got up, I went to him and explained I was his 2pm appointment and apologized for running late, to which he replied his 2:30 was on time and he was helping her. Then, his 3pm appointment showed up on time (I was there before the 3pm) and he told me he would be helping her before me. I asked if someone else could help me since I had now been sitting there for 30 minutes. He looked, then told me everyone else was busy. So I left. Honestly they treated me like my time was completely invaluable. I understand they were busy but he did nothing to help me be on my way sooner. If it were up to him I would have been sitting there all day waiting. I've been to other Honda locations in other states and they are quick and treated their customers respectably. I will never go back to this Honda location. read more

I was always pleased with the customer service in the service department until now... I've been their customer for over 8 or 9 yrs., taking my '07 Civic that has over 246,000 miles and because I was given a rental (for 1 day) from Enterprise since my car was not going to be ready the same day I dropped it off, it has created the biggest headache ever! So I returned the car to Coggin the next day and came home in my car, in the meantime Coggin kept it for a week... when I realized that Enterprise had charged my c/c, I tried to get it resolved and I only got the runaround...so after dealing with the managers at each location and Dan at Coggin telling me that I'm responsible for 2 days charge of insurance, when I only used it for 1 day, I realized that customer service is definitely on the way p.s. nothing personal but maybe they just lost a customer read more

I had been in touch with my service advisor via email and was scheduled to have my airbags replaced per Honda Recall. I went in after working 12 hour nite shift. She told me this would take 1 hour. I agreed to wait. After 1 12 hours of waiting she told me "20 more minutes"; "do you want your car washed, that's the least I could do". After 30 minutes, she told me "5 more minutes". I was being very patient and told her how tired I was, having worked an 8 hour shift and went straight to my nite job for 12 hours. I had now been up for more than 24 hours. She apologized and said she washed my car personally, and was just waiting for the paperwork. "The car is pulled up off to the side of the service department so I wouldn't get caught in the wait behind the vehicles there, and can just pull out." I was relieved the wait was coming to an end. After 10 minutes of "waiting for paperwork", She came an told me that there was a problem. "They mistakenly installed the wrong inflator kit". What! She then told me they have to start over!!!!! That "they couldn't open the glove box, and it took an hour to try to open it". After a 3 hour wait, my car was ready. I asked if the glove box could open, she replied yes. Once I got home, I tried to open the glove box to put the paperwork in it.......yup.......you guessed it, it wouldn't open. I called her and asked about it, she placed me on a brief hold, then came back with, "they couldn't get in through the glove box so they went in from the top of the dashboard. What!?!.......She just told me less than an hour ago, to my face the glove box was fine. The next day I found a tire pressure gauge and 2 hubcaps on the floor of my passenger side. I thought this was odd. I hadn't put it there and then thought maybe the mechanic mistakenly left them there. Later that day, after a long day at work I came out to a nearly flat passenger side rear tire with pressure of 17 and the passenger side front tire with a pressure of 21!!!!! The paperwork I received listed a "Multi-Point Inspection". What did they inspect??????? How dangerous was this! I couldn't believe that my car was just at the dealership service department the day before and here I am putting air in my tires! Not at all happy with this service experience!!!!! read more

Brought my car in to have my fuel pump replaced and I got it back with an oily mess in my back seat. I had a air freshener in my back seat in the cup holder. They did not remove it from the cup holder and it went all over my seat and cup holders and down into the cracks of my seats. Oily substance was everywhere. I called they said they would detail my car. They only cleaned my back seat where the oily substance got and acted as if I was the issue and that it was my fault and not the service members who neglected to remove the air freshener. My middle seat folds up and down into a cup holder so they didn't even remove it and just shut the air freshener in. The manager cracked a joke and was like well your car will always smell nice. When my car was finished the manager acted like he did me a favor when he said they washed my car. I have never in my life had only half of my car detailed especially when the screw up was on them. I don't intend to ever bring my car back to them. They weren't very nice and my car only got washed because I said how ridiculous they were being about cleaning it to begin with. read more

I had went in for service on my car and the actual service experience was great, it was after the fact as to why I have chosen to give them 2 stars. The service department gave my information to the sales department and because of that, I received multiple calls from the sales department even after stating that I was not interested in buying a car, not only that they sent me multiple emails from the sales department as well, I had to go into each email and unsubscribe from each one even though I never gave permission that I wanted to be subscribed. I want to continue getting service from them but because of this unwanted harassment I received from them, I am going to have to take my business else ware. read more

I bought a new Honda 2016 Accord. It came with an owner's manual. When I was having a minor problem with the GPS a year later, a salesperson asked if I had looked in the navigation manual. This was the first time I ever heard mention of a navigation manual. Salesperson never mentioned that there was such a manual. After calling Honda Corporate, they referred me to another company, Helm, and I could purchase a manual from them for $40. Their claim was that they were being ecologically responsible by not wasting paper, but they'll sell a car that pollutes the environment. Anyway, Honda, by their dishonesty and not even an offer to reimburse me for $40 which means nothing to Honda, has lost a customer forever and any future recommendations, especially this dealership. read more

I dropped off the car for an Express oil change at 1:50 for a 2:00 appointment. It was difficult to find a service advisor since I was not greeted by any staff. I had to go to the desk and ask where to go. I was told the name of my service advisor and she pointed to his desk. He was quite busy but did take the keys and told me it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I thought that was a bit long for an " Express" appointment, but I had things to do and a ride so it was okay. Found it odd that I didn't have to sign anything and that I offered my phone number to the advisor since he didn't ask for it. The service was good. And the car was ready when I returned. Some bad work previously on our CRV and need for an oil change brought us to Coggin Honda on the recommendation of our neighbour. Our device advisor was Andrew Steinbrecher who was sympathetic, friendly helpful and professional. He speedily arranged for our CRV to be looked at and given an oil and fluid change. He recommended a change to our steering fluid. The biggest issue was damaged to the wheel arch liners during a previous service. He also identified some rear brake issues. These could not be fixed that day so he arranged a loaner and we arranged to return the next day. The following day he called earlier than expected to say our vehicle was ready. First class service at a reasonable price and no delays. Coupled with a free car wash. Excellent. Would recommend and will use Coggin in the future. read more

My service advisor was not experienced or lacked training in customer service. She really did not understand and did not know how to communicate with me as a customer. I brought my car in and she recommended a service for $125 before knowing what the problem really was. I did not understand why it was recommended and all she kept saying was the charge was because they needed to pay the techs working on the car. When I finally got the call about what was wrong with my car, and to move forward with some of the repairs, they did not do all the repairs we discussed. She did not even call me to let me know my car was ready. I was truly disappointed, and will think twice about going back to purchase my next car. read more

Dan Sacchetti is the service specialist with whom I have dealt the most, but I have worked with the other specialists, and they're all professional, friendly, and most importantly, honest. I have dealt with dealer service departments in the past that had vivid imaginations when it came to inventing things that were wrong with my car. That will simply never happen here. Having your car serviced here is downright pleasant. There is a seating area for those who want to watch TV and another for those who don't. There are free coffee and snacks. If some problem with your car is discovered, you're always consulted before any work is done. We're sold on the quality of Honda automobiles, but just as important to us is knowing that if anything goes wrong, we can trust these people to fix it and charge a fair price. read more
