Restaurant is good and breakfast is free! They have laundry which is a bonus for weary traveller's or extended stays like us....pet friendly is a huge plus and we are able to leave our cat in the room while we go to house showings. They also are close to the beach and have a nice outdoor area. They gave us a good rate per night when we had to extend past the first night. Oh and the beds are super comfortable. He was friendly & welcoming, as I booked my single room. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a large tv where I could watch football (thankfully it was on in English as well - Packers en Francais :O). I would definitely stay here again. Much better bang for your buck versus paying $50 more to stay at a cookie-cut, bland, chain hotel.

The Comfort Inn in Bathurst is one those nondescript hotels everybody's stayed at. You know the…read moretype. Not really nice from the outside, clean, dated rooms and furniture but comfortable bed. Nothing wrong with the place. Great rates, at least in mid-May, which is off season. My room tonight was comfortable, with free wifi available. There is also a complimentary continental breakfast. I got a rate of $71/night. At that price, how can you argue about anything if they get the basics of cleanliness and comfort right? They are, after all, called Comfort Inn. Honestly, nothing to write home about, but enough to write on Yelp about.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The sliding doors were well secured. Overall we were very happy with the stay for what we needed it for. Not sure I would want to stay here longer term but for a stopover it was great.
