I've been taking lessons from Daniel with Coffee Shop Spanish for the past 1 year. I can't recommend it enough! I was new to the area and have taken a decent amount of Spanish at a community center in another city, I didn't want to jump into a class because I wasn't sure what level I'd be at and because I am in healthcare and was hoping for a more personal approach with some vocabulary built in specific to my work. Daniel is a wonderful teacher (and a very cool guy) - I've never felt uncomfortable speaking with him in Spanish or asking him any question. He's really helped me grasp some of the more difficult tenses as I'm moving into intermediate Spanish in a quick and easy way. He has excellent recommendations for ways to listen to Spanish (podcasts, movies, songs, etc) and provides opportunities to speak Spanish with natives as well! Also - you can take your lessons online via Skype as well - I was so glad to hear this feature was added, as I'll be able to continue my learning with the same great instructor even after I leave the area. Daniel is awesome! I have a strong foundation in the Spanish language thanks to Daniel. I now live overseas in Spain and have always felt prepared to express myself. I accredit that to Daniel. He is knowledgeable and really finds ways to get you to just speak. He's patient and doesn't make you feel bad if you've made a mistake.
