Coffee Pub - Half Belgian waffle and French toast with homemade whipped cream - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I feel bad leaving reviews like this because the staff was very nice. But this place is stuck in time- I had a French dip that had some weird bitterness and was mostly just salt and cheese. The "homemade" au jus didn't really taste like it. The pasta salad side was weirdly creamy, under seasoned, pasta completely mushy. The tortilla soup was food service with overcooked pieces of chicken in it. It was served with homemade chips that were stale. The coffee is not good. The interior hasn't been updated in decades, mismatched incandescent lights in the track fixtures. There are photos of dozens of people on the walls - some signed - but many are unlabeled. The upside? My lunch was $20. If you want OK food very cheaply and near the strip this is an option. But I didn't finish anything I was served and it wasn't because there was too much of it. read more

Service was the main issue. Took 10-15 min just to take our drink order, then she dropped off the drinks and walked away without taking our food order, so we had to wait another 10-15 min for that. Food took another 20-30 min and came out lukewarm. The Eggs Benedict was okay. It's nothing I'd go out of my way to get again. French toast tasted like something you could easily make at home and throw chocolate chips on top of, and the bacon was dry like it has been sitting out for a while. The Java Mocha frozen coffee was the highlight, but very thick. Has a classic diner feel and prices are reasonable, but the service and food didn't deliver. read more

Food A+. Got the Josephine On A Bagel (which you can only get here) topped with avocado at the recommendation by the awesome server. I also got a smoothie with just fruit. FYI Their menu has a list of smoothies that all include ice cream so they're more like milkshakes. Ambiance A+. Playlist was awesome. I was basically Shazaming every song I heard. Also sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Service A+. The waitress, Lauren, was top notch. Really provided the service that you used to get at every restaurant before COVID changed everything. Stellar first impression. Will definitely be back. read more

The best part of coffee pub is Lauren. She might be the very best server in all of Las Vegas. I come back and have come back for over 15 years The outdoor seating is extraordinarily wonderful. It's a great place to come to. The food is solid. But again, the service is fantastic. The ambiance is excellent.. read more

Meh! The food is pretty standard. Nothing really outstanding. Service was super slow, cafe not super busy, DK what happened, maybe an off day for our waitress? She took our order, someone else dropped off our food and refilled our drinks, after asking several times. When asking for the check, our server finally comes and asked what we ordered. This is a one time place for me. read more

It's been years since I've come here. Overall I've liked coming here in the past but this last visit today was kind of strange. I ordered the croissant pastrami sandwich and the server talked me out of ordering it, saying I should get the regular pastrami sandwich instead. I asked what the difference was and she said one was easier to eat, which made no sense. I said I still wanted the croissant instead of regular bread and she said yeah they can make it so it came with a croissant. So I got the pastrami sandwich with croissant bread instead of the pastrami croissant I originally wanted to order. Both had the similar prices on the menu but when the check came, she charged me extra for the croissant (really unfair) but I was with someone and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it as it's kind of awkward. My friend offered to pay for lunch but I said no, I can pay. The server asked that we both give her our credit cards, which made sense b/c I thought she would just charge each of us what we ordered or at least, split it. But she came back waving my credit card in the air and asking us whose credit card it was. She said that she had her male friend in the back kitchen randomly pick a card and charged the entire meal on that card. It was very awkward and strange. I of course could not say anything to that or risk a really awkward situation with my friend. But I was not okay with having some random person pick a card and charging our entire meal on it. That should have been clarified ahead of time at the very least. If I were to treat someone to lunch I want it to be an intentional decision on my part and for the person to feel treated and not b/c I lost a "bet" or it was just the luck of the draw. Now I'm paying the full bill without getting the social benefit of actually treating someone to lunch. It's like, oh well, you just lost the draw. That just let a bad feeling with me. The server was friendly and attentive and came out a bunch of times to check on us and refilled my friend's coffee a bunch, which we appreciated. But she took a lot of liberties that are unprofessional and out of bounds and overcharged for things that she recommended which made no sense without explaining that there would be an extra charge. This is unfortunate as I do like the food here and it's a nice little neighborhood spot that held great memories but I feel awkward coming back here and having to deal with the stress of quibbling over extra charges or playing credit card roulette. read more

Great friendly service. Very 80's style which is what makes me always come here when I'm in town. Water w lemon.. filtered. Coffee perfect diner coffee. Love it. (Please replace your togo cups w paper rather than styrofoam. Styrofoam is toxic especially when heated. It leaks chemicals into the beverage.) read more

I had the Huevos Rancheros with homefries potatoes and corn tortillas. The homemade salsa is delightful and full of flavor. The potatoes were seasoned to perfection. I enjoyed the pub feel and quiet atmosphere for breakfast. The service was a little inattentive which was annoying since we were the only customers in there until it was time for our check. read more

Food and service was not good I got huevos rancheros and it was awful didn't eat any of it,we also got eggs and has browns and that was also not edible, the service was equally bad our server barely came to the table and when she did it did not look like she wanted to help. The restaurant is nice and cozy vibes read more

Great food, incredible service. Old school Vegas. The photos on the walls represent the best of the city.

Went for brunch today. Extensive menu with many choices. Staff was very friendly, but service a little disjointed. One of our orders was mistakenly given to another table so they had to make a new one. We had to ask more than once for silverware and a couple of condiments. Still, we forgave the service stumbles because the servers had a good attitude. The food was really very good (maybe even great). I wouldn't hesitate to go back. We ate outside in their covered patio area. The fresh air was pleasant. read more

Simply a fabulous old-school Las Vegas eatery, off the beaten path on Sahara. Easy to find and easy to park. The wait staff is cheerful, attentive and very engaging. A fun place to come for breakfast or lunch. An extensive menu that will leave you drooling! The plates are quite large and they are happy to split an order between two guests. The food at Coffee Pub is quite good and substantial! This somewhat noisy and boisterous brunch venue is now "my go to place" when I wish to rendezvous with friends or Vegas visitors for breakfast or brunch. Just can't get enough of this place! Highly recommend that you check this out. Cheers! read more

Great, cozy spot for a family breakfast. I enjoyed this location with my parents, brother, and sister last weekend. I ordered a club sandwich and my family had traditional breakfast meals. Our waitress was one of the most friendliest people I've ever met. She took our orders and checked on us constantly. All of our meals came out exactly how we ordered them which is important since we usually have modifications. If you're looking for a quick bite at a casual restaurant.. check this place out! Side note: good for groups and kids! read more

Coffee Pub - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

On my way back from a 3-day Vegas trip that morning 2 weeks ago, I was looking for a nice, cozy breakfast joint before heading home. I looked up Yelp and found this place (with great reviews). As I walked in, a nice lady by the name of Lauren greeted me with a friendly welcome. I asked her for breakfast recommendation as I had my cousin (and her 2 daughters) with me visiting from Korea. Lauren knew what to recommend for 2 adults and 2 kids. She was very nice and friendly and I got to briefly talk to the owner Kyle, who was also so nice and friendly. Food was awesome and I will definitely go back with my friends and family next time I'm in Vegas. I highly recommend this friendly joint. read more

Quaint spot for some brunch. Our food and drinks were great. I would've liked some seasoning on the sprouts that were on my veggie omelet, it was pretty bland. Also, the service is a bit slower so go with time to chill. The patio is dog friendly which is a plus. read more

Excellent customer service. Best omelette I've eaten in a long time. Salsa is very tasty. Nice location. Great atmosphere.

What a wonderful experience! My friend brought me here for a girl's brunch, and it was perfect! It's her favorite and for good reason. This spot is intimate, cozy, and gives grandma's house meets English Pub. We were offered the best service I've seen in Vegas by our friendly waitress. Affordable, classic American with some Mexican inspirations. Could not recommend any more. Will be back for those perfect, fresh bagels! read more

Was visiting Las Vegas for the first time and honestly was really glad to come across this little gem! The food was really good and fresh, our server was super super nice and attentive. We asked for her recommendations and she didn't disappoint! This Irish inspired spot is definitely a place I would recommend and come back. I also really like that the manager cares about their employees and even came to check up on us towards the end of our meal. They also cleaned up really quickly when a party was done eating which I liked. read more

We stopped in for a filling breakfast on our way through Vegas. Find someplace else if you're in a hurry but here we enjoyed a leisurely cup of Joe and a good-sized omelette on the patio with our dog. As my wife described this restaurant, "Ho Hum." The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the interior was painted a dark green with dark wood flooring. The ambiance was dark and uninviting. We've been here before and I had forgotten how gloomy the atmosphere was in the dining room. The autographed photos hung on the walls were interesting, though the single "Best of Las Vegas 1993" plaque along with the age of the pictures certainly gave the impression that the business hadn't evolved with the times. The food was okay, though our potatoes definitely had a burnt garlic flavor and the eggs were a solid medium cook rather than the over-easy we had requested. Overall, with all the breakfast places in Las Vegas, you should consider the nearby Egg & I/Egg Works rather than this humdrum experience. read more

Omg what an amazing place. Food was outstanding I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy Benedict with seasoned potatoes and I couldn't get enough. I'm usually a gravy snob since nobody makes sausage gravy like I do. But this gravy was spot on. My husband got a Denver Omelette which he really enjoyed as well. Service was excellent this gal was very talkative giving us suggestions amazing smile and great personality. She also said that they almost make everything from scratch. They had a really big menu for Breakfast and Lunch The Ambiance was a cute little coffee shop. It's a little hole in the wall but everything was exquisite. Coffee Pub - Everything was so good, I have no food pics - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

We've been coming to this restaurant for a few months now & still love it! It's a little bit of a dive, but we all know the rule,... Don't judge a book by it's cover! So honestly, we've only ever eaten outside, even in hot weather (where they often turn on a patio water misting getup). The tables are falling apart & the chairs are mismatched, but the service is exemplary & the food, always phenomenal. This past weekend, we forewent the usual awesome breakfast items for some sandwiches. I had the Redondo (#1 on the sandwich list) & my husband had the Marin (#4). Wow, I mean WOW! Delicious! Mine was a little better imho, because what's not tasty about buttered up & toasted sourdough bread! They don't have a fryer here, so sides are simple & delicious. Kettle Chips on the side & BAM a perfect meal! Hours are limited, so get there before 3:00pm, 7 days a week! Try it! read more

Great neighborhood spot for breakfast brunch or lunch. I've been going here (off and on) for at least 20yrs. Lauren is amazing and makes this place so fun! Ask her for her fave menu items (and "secret menu" hacks). She's makes this (otherwise 80's style) place worth the visit with her great personality. My fave is Josephina on a Bagel - a mainstay here since the 90's. Try it with avocado or an over medium egg - or both. Must try! read more
