But still it was an incredible experience to sip coffee in this square with warm Mediterranean breeze brushing our faces. If you are reading this you probably made it to Kas. So, we decided, to give a go one evening. We are so glad that we did. First thing that hit us was the waiters memory of serving us before. We were then treated like old friends. While starting a bottle of delicious white wine we decided on treating ourselves to the best steak in the world, a chateaubriand. We have eaten this before and did realise the expense of this wonderful piece of meat. I London you expect to pay a minimum of £65 for two. The shock on our faces looking at the price on the menu, £20 for two. No contest. It arrived at our table in one whole piece. The waiter carved at the table, checking that it had been cooked to our satisfaction. Laid on plates with accompanying vegetables. The steak melted in our mouths. Beautiful. After this a break was needed but we were never rushed. In fact we had no room for a dessert so opted for a cappuccino and Irish coffee. Another surprise, the Irish coffee was a work of art. We had to take a photograph. Also the Irish coffee seemed to have very little coffee in it LOL. All in all, a wonderful evening and a fantastic dining experience. Service was second to none, food was top of its class. I would advise anyone to give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed. Try it for lunch and/or dinner, as we did.

This café sits right next door to Erdem Café, and actually plays the music that you hear next door…read more Fortunately (for me, of course tastes differ from mine the correct taste) the music they play is mostly 50's easy listening kind of stuff, so it's quite pleasant and not too intrusive (unlike many bars which pump out the Macarena full blast when you're simply trying to have a quiet drink). Prices are sligtly higher than next-door but still very reasonable. I had a very good strawberry milkshake from here, and the views are equally glorious. It's a shame it's next to my favourite café, otherwise we would've had a drink here, then walked to Erdem and had a drink there, and back and forth all week. Still highly recommended.
