Set above a dressmakers and alteration service called Marie's, and adjacent to a large Aldi, is the Coffee Loft, a peaceful coffee shop, with a good variety of seating. From conventional seating to small sofas, this is a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Having had coffee earlier in the morning, we opted for tea, ordinary and Earl Grey, although there were a multitude of other flavours on offer, both were refreshing and light, just what we needed. There were also coffees, such as americano, latte and cappuccino, all in two sizes. The counter was made of clear acrylic embedded with lots of different types of buttons, very effective. Atop of the counter, were many tempting homemade cakes, like scones, brownies, carrot cake, lemon drizzle, to name but a few.
