I think the name alone tells you how awesome this place is. What more could you want but coffee and whisky - that's right a place that sells them together! This place is near the Gingerbread Museum, and after you have made your own gingerbread come in and have a coffee or a whisky. It's up to you. This cafe is built in a hundred year old shop. It is worth coming in simply to see the old style brass chimney. It is beautiful. They serve little food and dessert here, so you can also grab a bit. It is homey and hipster and the exact same time. It looks so fascinating and cosy from outside. What a pitty that the service and the entire performance had been rather frustrating. The bar as a long whisky menu and a good collection of cocktails while the selection of Gin is disappointing. It took quite a while for the waitress to realize that new customers had arrived. By the time of our arrival tha bar was pretty crowded and all the tables were taken so were pretty relaxed about been overlooked for some 15 minutes. But after taking our order it took the stuff 20 minutes to prepare two cocktails and to pour two whiskys in a glas. Count another 15 Minutes for the second round of drinks and you are confronted with a total of 50 minutes waiting time for two drinks per person. The last drink we ordered to go as we were fed up sitting around waiting for drinks to never arrive at our table while by that time the bar was almost empty. The cocktails were good but not good enough to comfort the long waiting. read more

This is a great place. I stopped in here after a long day to just hang out and relax. The ambiance and atmosphere were exactly what I wanted. There is a ton of furniture and seating area and the decor is simple and chic. The drink menu was fantastic - especially the Whiskey part. Literally thousands of different whiskeys from all over the world. It's not limited to just whiskey either. Tons of other drinks and beers available as well. I had an Irish Coffee - best one I have ever had - hands down. Highly recommend this place. It closes at midnight, which I guess is reasonable since it doesn't cater to the rowdy crowd. read more

A pretty low-key local spot. Great to just come in and lounge, grab a coffee or a cocktail. During the day it's pretty quiet where you can sit in the corner and enjoy a book or an intimate convo with a friend. At night time, mainly on the weekends, it turns up a bit and becomes the place to come in and enjoy drinks and a great atmosphere with friends. Might need to book a reservation for parties over 3 after 8:30pm. If there's a lot of people the service will get slow. read more

Great selection of whiskey! The coffee is Julius Meinl, so that's a very big plus. This place has a tasty menu but it's not cheap. The atmosphere is laid back and warm.
