It was an hour drive but he assured me he would wait until I arrived. when I drove in I was very impressed with his property it was absolutely immaculate. I was greeted by both Dick and Kirk. I showed him my Duck I wanted mounted he examined it for flaws and said we were good to go and that he could have it done in six weeks. Now if you ever have had taxidermy done it is always a year no matter what you have done. His prices are very competitive and his work is impeccable. He spent over an hour with me showing me his shop and Taxidermy procedures. He also taught me the best way to take care of existing mounts I have at home. She has unique vintage items, a long with her unique art from taxidermy to book binding & everything in-between. My personal favorite is looking at the odd cards & postcards you won't find at the souvenir shops. She even makes her own "Fool Crow" designs and sometimes she makes them with collages. And charged for the more expensive shark tooth when we bought the cheaper one. They don't have barcodes or SKU numbers. So it seems the employees are just guessing what the products are. Super cool store love it here But, my boyfriend and I were on a trip last week. Came for the first time and bought a bunch of stuff. They do not have Barcodes on the items, which is fine but if you're going to do that, make sure your employees know what is what. A easy mistake to make I'm sure, but they should probably fix there system style so mistakes like this are not easy to make. Sadly we didn't notice till we were already on our way home the next day, so there's not much we can do about it. Again all these could be fixed if they had barcodes or sku numbers. Other than that a super cool store, employees were friendly. But wish we were not overcharged for a cheaper item, and charged for something we did NOT get. Wish we could have got our money back but we don't live in San Fran.

Joshua made me feel like we were friends for several years in 5 minutes of visiting. His work was absolutely amazing, performing many cosmetic repairs that I forced him to work with! Capturing my Buck in all his glory, in such a beautiful, realistic semi sneak that Joshua recommended. Joshua's prices are more than reasonable. The turn around time was very realistic, and he completed my mount earlier than he even estimated. I could not be more satisfied.

I just wanted the pelt, skull, and 1 bone from my animal. He sends animals out in order to get the pelt fully done, I think he sends it to a tannery. Anyways, he's a very sweet and understanding old man, and he works on pets. It took 6 months to get everything that I wanted back, but he was upfront with me about what the process was, and how long it would take. I paid him half of the cost upfront, and then the other half when I picked up the pelt, skull, and bone.

He has lost his eye for detail, eyelashes are turned under, eye and mouth detail is buggered up, forms don't always fit the cape, etc.. If you have something you really care about, I'm sorry to say you will be disappointed. I had to send the mount he did to someone else to fix at considerable cost.
