We were quoted one tuition rate, but shortly after enrollment, it increased without warning. When I questioned it, I was told, "It's only a $50 difference, and if you can't afford it, we can unenroll them." That response was hurtful and unprofessional. Tuition is over $1,600/month for toddlers and increased again starting July, yet the meals provided are minimal, often just half a Nutri-Grain bar and faucet water. Parents also have to pay out of pocket for anything extra, making it hard to see where the high tuition is going. Despite the high cost, my son struggled during his kindergarten readiness test, unable to count to 20 or say his ABCs, basic skills I expected him to learn. I've since withdrawn him from the center. I cannot recommend this location. The care and education do not match the price parents are paying.

One of my favorite things is seeing how much my daughter learns while she's here. She is constantly coming home having learned something new, whether it's a new word, skill, activity, or something she's excited to show me. It makes me so happy knowing she's not only being cared for, but also learning, growing, and having fun every day. I also really appreciate how consistent and organized the daycare is with their schedules and routines. It gives the kids a sense of structure while still keeping things fun and engaging. They do so many creative and exciting activities, and I love seeing all the kids included as a group and making sure everyone feels like they are part of the classroom. As a mom, finding a daycare you can truly trust is so important, and I am incredibly grateful that we found this one. The director and staff at COA in Oswego are so unprofessional on many levels. I am going to start by saying my son (who happens to have mild Autism) was hired as a Teaching Assistant. This was told to them on his resume, as well as discussed at the interview. He was hired at COA about 6 months ago. Since being hired, he has been picked on, made to do work that other TA's are not made to do ( ex. clean all floors and toys in all classrooms). Written up for incidents that were embellished by other staff as a means to get him in trouble. Treated with disrespect and now after today called a racist because of a mis-pronunciation of a last name. His own family is comprised of 4 different races. He doesn't have a mean or racist bone in his body. My son, even through all of this, has continued to show up and work every day. He has taken the 10:30 am lunch even when he got to work at 9 am and others have been working since 6 am. He never complained about this unfair treatment due to feeling like he could lose his job all the time. It was evident in his anxiety that he felt left out and not supported at all. He recently had his hours cut, supposedly due to lack of enrollment. Although the center hired 4 new staff since he was hired and he was the staff with hours cut to 15 hours a week. They have treated him like he wouldn't know better and continuously pick on him. They expected him to be alone in a classroom, and because he spoke up and said he wasn't comfortable with this, his hours were cut. What a sad and unfortunate work experience for a young man who just felt he would like to work with young children. As he comes from a family who fostered other children throughout his life. He has had experience working and caring for kids quite a bit, just not in the daycare setting. As his Mom, I really felt this would be a great opportunity for him. How sad of COA to treat someone who is "different " with such disrespect that he no longer wants to work in an environment like that. I doubt you would want your children attending a place that treats their employees this way either. I know I wouldn't. If I thought my son could have written this himself, I would have him do so. His disabilities don't define him. His heart does. We will move on from here, but not without speaking our TRUTH.

We were excited about introducing our child to an independent atmosphere, however after experiencing the "shadow day" and disorganized process we decided this wasn't a great fit. There are separate living facility for transgender students, which seems to be the trend on this campus. Due to lack of structure, deceiving parents by giving false hope we declined this opportunity. The tennis courts are not operable and IMSA lacks sports. Volunteer hours are excessive and your child will be be on a self-directed learning curve (minimal involvenment of teachers).
