My miso soup was not very hot and had a bit of an odd flavor to it, certainly ranking low among the many hundreds of bowls of miso soup I have consumed. This restaurant is a decent spot for a quick bite of sushi, and their lunch specials look particularly reasonable, but it won't impress and isn't worth a visit unless you need affordable sushi in this specific area.

After looking at a few spots online, we settled on Miyaki, namely because their menu is clear about veg vs. fish. Once we decided what we wanted, we called and ordered (we needed to modify one item, and the online ordering didn't seem to provide that option). We were told it would be 45 minutes, and that's about how long it took to arrive. I'm no sushi connoisseur but I liked what I had. We ordered a peanut avo maki for me and a peanut avo cream cheese maki for my husband. The peanut was interesting but nice, though my husband said the rice wasn't vinegar-y enough for his liking. We also both had the nigiri inari, which we liked. Finally, my husband had the miso soup which was "OK," and I had the gemüse tempura roll without cream cheese, which was my favorite thing we had. The presentation of the delivery was nice, and they didn't screw up the order, which is a big plus. They gave us sweet and salty soy sauce, but there was no wasabi and only one small slice of ginger. All in all it was an enjoyable meal--I would put it at a solid 3.5 stars--but there were a few things "missing" that would have sealed the deal. I would probably order from here again, but I want to try out some other spots too.

I have had better fish here in the city but for a way higher (overpriced) price. The place is small so if your a big group, you might want to call ahead. Overall the rolls are tasty. Atmosphere is good and so is service. This is probably the best Sushi spot in the are in terms of value.

I can deal with it for the Onigiri because it's such a special treat (still wish there was less sugar or whatever they use to make it so sweet). What was a bit disappointing was that even the tea was sweetened! I told the lady afterward that I don't take sugar in my tea and so I couldn't drink it, and she still made me pay for it. I know I could have probably asked her during the meal if she could switch it out, but it came out so late in the meal that I didn't feel like it was worth it to wait for a new tea and stay longer to finish it.

Dementsprechend war von "knuspriger ente" überhaupt nichts zu merken. Die Entenhaut war zäh wie Schuhsohle. Der Salat bestand zum größten Teil aus frischem Rotkohl und großen Stücken gekochten Kartoffeln und Möhren. Nicht gerade das typische asiatische Gemüse. Aber es ist billig und sieht nach viel aus. Wir hatten unter anderem eine große Flasche stilles Wasser bestellt (6,40 €). Das Wasser war dann doch mit Kohlensäure und die Flasche war total dreckig. Ich denke mir mal, dass die Getränke im Freien standen und durch den letzten Regen dreckig wurden. Aber so etwas stellt man dem Gast nicht an den Tisch. Also wir können diese Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen und werden dort auch nie wieder einen Fuß hineinsetzen.
