One of my favourite cuisines is Chinese, the flavours, the spice, the chilli, and a good stirfry is always worth having for a quick dinner. I was super impressed when we found Silver Chopsticks in Werribee. It has become our go to Chinese restaurant close to home. The food is always fresh and tasty. Some of our favourite dishes are the steamed home made Dim Sims which I think rival what you an get at Sth Melbourne Market. The Pork spare ribs in Mongolian sauce, melt in your mouth pork with a great sauce. For a healthy dinner the chicken and cashew nuts with some added Chinese mushrooms is a treat. Silver Chopsticks does both sit down and take away (pick up) which adds to the flexibility. The staff are friendly and generally attentive. We have had one experience where they were super busy that we got a little left out and ended up with quite a long wait for food. Silver Chopsticks also do a Chinese New Year banquet do with Lion dancers and fireworks. Great fun!

Surprisingly quiet on a Friday night but I suspect their main form of business is take away and…read moredelivery. It's very run of the mill Australian Chinese food here but I find the ingredient are always fresh, nothing ever comes out looking limp or tired. Service is pretty good, some young and polite servers and a grumpier older Chinese man but I think he's part of the decor and we have all come to expect him. Good for a quick dinner when you can't be bothered with Point Cook crowds.
