Number one seaweed salad in Germany. Maybe in US. Nice and clean place, service perfectread more
Best Asian dishes I've had in Germany!…read more Stepping inside I was already impressed with the elegant atmosphere, with tasteful furnishing and cozy lighting. The staff are friendly and helpful, and always have the best recommendations if you're overwhelmed with all the choices in the menu. The food is so flavorful and enriching that it makes me home-sick, and the dish is decorated beautifully to take an instagram-worthy pic. I would definitely be returning, and if you're a foody with a love for Asian cuisine, I would highly recommend visiting!
Definitely a fusion type of cafe that mixed with different Asian food option (Chinese, Japanese,…read moreKorean, Thai..etc). However, their primary focus is Japanese sushi. The noodle was ok. The dim sum special likely (assuming) from frozen box. The service can be hit or miss. They do speak English, but primary German. I was a little disappointed after reading all the review. The location is at the side street and overall very clean.
I should have known better. I love in LA and sushi is a big part of our diet. After being in…read moreEurope for three weeks - I needed some. But I should have just waited. If you really like Japanese food or live in a place like LA or NYC with quality sushi - don't even think about it. Fish consists of shrimp, tuna and salmon and is average frozen quality. The preparations are all smothered in sweet sauce and mayo that isn't listed on the menu description for the dish. The rice was old and dry. It's - just not sushi. Worse - they have displays all over the restaurant with slide shows of nice fish, real wasabi root, elegant rolls - none of it is in the restaurant. We have better sushi at the grocery store in Los Angeles.
Front in der Fußgängerzone mit kleinem Außenbereich.
Nr.73 - Knusprig gebratene Ente auf Früchten und Gemüse mit rotem Thai-Curry und Kokosnussmilch, dazu der unvermeidliche Reis.
Theke.
Incredibly disappointing experience and it's absurd how many Germans love to eat here. We went…read morethere for a friend's birthday. Therefore, I didn't really have a choice. The service is buffet style but they also offer a menu of ala carte dishes. We chose the buffet. They had a few decent Chinese and Thai dishes. However, the Mongolian grill and the 'sushi' were absolute abysmal and unauthentic. While I understand the concept of a Mongolian grill is to 'choose your own ingredients and have the chef fry it up', this could prove disastrous if you pair the wrong food with the wrong sauce, which you can't even taste beforehand. Sure, trail and error goes a long way when experimenting cooking with food but I was too hungry to tolerate that. The ingredients were not good quality and the sauces were either bland or too sweet. It resembled nothing of the good quality Mongolian restaurants I used to visit in the U.S. and Japan. As for the 'sushi', well, being a native of Okinawa, Japan, I should have known not to eat the sushi at any buffet. I always set myself up for disappointment when I do. I'm open-minded to try new things and fushion foods but seriously, don't tweak the sushi rice and use cheap imitation crab. Although the ambience, interior, and atmosphere was somewhat pleasant, I'm giving this restaurant a one. The quality of the food is too low. I will not make a second trip.
Come here quite often to purchase Asian/Indian ingredients. It is a small shop with a canteen like…read morerestaurant in the front. I haven't tried any main dishes yet but the shrimp spring rolls are heaven. They are full of shrimp and taste very fresh. They also have little desserts such as sesame balls and mung bean cakes. They serve a variety of dishes that I believe they make early in the morning and then serve throughout the day. They don't take orders it seems. The place is always full so I am assuming the rest of the food is pretty good. The store part has a nice variety of spices, noodles and Asian ingredients at reasonable prices. The staff is very warm and friendly. They also have fresh herbs available. Recommend coming here if you need to stock up on ingredients or to get a snack.
