Gave them two chances, both left me feeling like I wasted my money.. I got the second most expensive pedicure each time, in hopes for a relaxing time and nice pedi. The lady talked loudly across the room most the time, my feet are still rough from dry skin, and half the time she filed my skin never touching the nail. It wasn't rushed, but it was halfassed and definitely not worth $65 or the two additional $3 charges. $3 gel removal and $3 to use a debit or credit card However, they do have nice massage chairs. read more

I went in to get gel removed from hands and feet, with no polish. I just wanted to clean them up. It was $80. That's just too darn much.

Let me start out with that there are only 3 nail salons that I know of in Rice Lake. This place is owned by same owner of salon in Cedar Mall. This is my 3rd visit. First visit was to get gel manicure. It was mediocre at best. The business had just started up and taking customers. This was 2 months ago. I have had one gel manicure, next time was removal of gel nails and manicure. The woman who works there has worked on me all 3 times. Today I went in to have luxury pedicure at 50.00 price tag and have my gel polish removed. The chairs are super comfy and clean. I had made an appt and got to soak 10 mins before start of pedicure. It was a typical Saturday with other customers wanting walk in appts but were told to return later. I chose the luxury 50.00 pedicure because it was my wedding Anniversary. I explained how I have a callous on my heal that always is taken down and how I like the sides of nails cut down. They have pre boxed kits with different scents. The nail lady proceeded to open one packet of scrub and it squirt up towards my head and got it on my shirt. ( little did I know it hit my chin and hair, after looking in a mirror at store nearby). She did not spend but 2 min on massage, skipped the hot rocks massage, only clipped down one toe, and then did one of the worse nail painting I have ever had. Also wax residue was left on foot after I returned home I found out. It got busier in the shop and my pedicure was more rushed. I only gave them 2 stars for location and cleanliness. Otherwise , be prepared to pay by cash only as I was informed (harassed) 2 times in regards to paying by credit card. Sad that this small town of Rice Lake fails to have quality services or goods for women. I will not be returning as 3 strikes against this place....I had high hopes for this cute place....... read more

Poor customer service. Rude. Terrible job. 3 people same request, some got one thing, some got another. Nails looked terrible. Polish lumpy and two of them had the polish rub off even after they had been sitting to dry. Just terrible eperience. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I wanted my nails built from acrylic and was told no. After that she started gluing tips onto my fingers before I had a chance to wash my hands. She started gluing the dirt under my nails into the cuticles. She got flustered and left to have a man do my nails. After I told him what my issue was with the dirt under my nails and I needed to wash my hands. He started yelling at me telling me my personal hygiene was not his problem and I needed to wash my hands before I come to the nail salon.. He glued nine tips on my nails and then Said I couldn't leave with them. He then used a tip to remove the fresh glue. My hands are throbbing. read more

I would have given Coco Nails a zero star rating, but I think it might be interpreted as forgetting to give them a rating. I think they are that bad !! The folks at Coco Nails are probably the most rude business people I have ever encountered !! Pushy, condescending, and rude only begin to describe their attitude toward their customers. My teenage daughter wan her nails done to start school. She loves nails are trends and got a full set of acrylic. She asked for a long ballerina shape with a pretty easy design. Let me start by saying that her set was nothing of what she asked for. They looked like...short, flat and not good. The mean little Asian thief was rude and a liar and they do awful work. I will not only leave an awful review but will be reporting them to the BBB and any other local forum. Don't give these people your hard earned money! read more

I came with my family and we didn't have a appointment but they got us in super quick. They were fast and so sweet. I loved it, this place is definitely the best one I've been to in a long time. They were very clean and organized, the man that I had who did my pedicure even helped me pick out a beautiful color. They were nice and had us laughing. I'll be going back again soon read more

When I first arrived they were very rude, I had an appointment for 1130, didn't start till 1145 at which point the man doing my nails told me the design I picked was not pretty and to choose something else but I disagreed. He made me bleed twice while doing my nails and proceeded to put the acrylic chemicals over the cuts, I was in pain the whole time! He didn't shape them the way I asked and you can see air bubbles in every single one of the nails. My real nails can be seen, unpainted all around. Horrible place to get your nails done! read more

I had the quickest pedicure I have ever had. The paint job is so/so, my daughter could of done better. I watched several clients come in and I was appalled how they were treated. All the texts were rude as he**. I will never go back or recommend Coco nails. read more

Went in for a standard manicure, called ahead for an appt on a Monday afternoon, got there early. Waited 5-10 minutes. The manicurist was rude to me several times. He kept saying Gel and then the rest I couldn't understand, but I said "No Gel". I think he commented on how long my current clear polish had been on my nails, 2-3 weeks. As if after that long, he didn't need to remove it before buffing my nails. Then when it was time for the hand massage, he asked for my watch to come off. I said, "Ring too?", and had my wedding ring off already (I don't like to get lotion under it). This was the worst - he YELLED at me "NO, NO, NO, NO". Really? I put my ring back on like a scolded child. Finally, he put oil on my cuticles right before beginning to polish. Used a washcloth to rub some of it off, but I can't help but wonder if my manicure will be short lived due to the oil on my nails. Charged me $3 extra for using a card, which I get, but wish I had known ahead of time. NOT going back. I work in RL, but live elsewhere...will get my nails done elsewhere. read more

Extremely bad experience. Went about a month ago for a Pedicure. It lasted a week before the polish started chipping. Then last week got a full acrylic nail set with a simple matte black color. They turned out absolutely horrible. Lazy quality and did not even paint the entire nail. When I reminded him of the matte top coat, some.of the nail was still shiny because of the laziness. They were rude and and appointment times seem to not matter. The guy who did my nails didn't seem to rlly know what he was doing and he deliberately upcharged me and gave me a gel base without asking if I had gel or acrylic nails. Another guy who works there was doing a lady's nails and watching a soccer game in his phone at the same time! Very unprofessional! I would leave no stars but had to leave one. As a new mom and also pregnant with my second child on the way (I am 25 weeks along) I haven't gotten my nails or a pedicure done in 2 years, and made an appointment for a pedicure and a full set. I was looking forward to doing something for myself for the first time in a very long time. I really wish I went somewhere else. I get there with my sister who I made an appointment with, and the guy was extremely rude from the beginning making me feel very uncomfortable. He had me sit down first to do my nails, and I had a simple picture I found on Pinterest I was set on getting done, when I showed him I think he said was "that will take very long and be a lot of money...." and said something else I could not understand. So that was out of the question right away from his reaction. He asked me if I wanted gel or just the acrylic nails and I said multiple times no gel, just the nails. So I felt rushed picking out a color I didn't have set on, and picked one out. He did not make any conversation with me and was very rough with my nails that a few of my cuticles were bleeding and when he was filing them with the electric nail file my nails felt like they were on fire from burning so bad on how fast and hard he was filing them. He still used gel polish after I said no gel, and my nails have a lot of bumps/residue in the polish from not having me wash my hands at all after he was filing them, even after I asked him if I should wash my hands. Since I do not get my nails done often, I didn't understand what his "hand motions" meant since he barley said 2 words to me the entire time and was very rude and rough with my hands and nails it was time for my pedicure. I was hoping it wasn't going to be him doing it, and thankfully it was a woman doing it. She was getting my water ready, and the water was so scorching hot, I got burns on my legs. she adjusted the temperature 3 times while I told her the water was still too hot and she finally checked herself and said oh yes too hot. She tried to push the gel polish on my toes but I said no I only wanted polish so I felt like I wasn't "important enough". My pedicure was not relaxing one bit, she was also very rough and rushed the entire time. Honestly withy 25 week pregnant belly I probably could've done a better job painting my toes then she did. When it was time to sit by the dryer, it was time to pay and I noticed a sign that said they charge a large fee for using a credit card, and to my SHOCK, I wasn't planning on spending more then like $60-$70 for my nails and toes, my total was $98 dollars!!! Thankfully I had cash on me and because I was very displeased with the service I didn't leave a generous tip. She came back with my change while I handed her the remaining tip and she rudely said "this for both of us?????". I said yep, I didn't know I would be charged even extra using my debit card. I was in shock how this place is still on business how they treat customers!! There was a few walk ins and calls and every person was treated very rudely by the man, and he kept turning people away. Terrible right from the start. I walked in and asked for acrylics. They told me to pick a color but after looking for maybe 1 minute, they promptly yelled at me, told me they had a 5:30 appointment so I needed to be fast(Even though walk-in are "welcome"), and then took the colors out of my hand. Once I got to the seat, the nail tech basically choose the color for me. Once he started filing them down, he had the grinder on so fast, they I could feel the heat from under my nails. There was no talk, only rude remarks about my nail texture and where I should put my hands. After that, we had our first discussion which was about how long and the shape I wanted my acrylics to be, rounded with natural length. This was a mutual agreement, it was very clear. He then continued to file down my nails short, typical prep for acrylics. It was here that things went even more awry. He started to do my nails like gels. I had never gotten acrylics here before so I just thought "this is weird, but maybe they do the gel part first?" Just trying to rationalize this in my head after I had clearly stated several times what I wanted. It was not until after he said "done" that I realized he had completely ignored my request. I told him that I had wanted acrylics and his response was "yeah," with a nod showing he literally just decided to do this own thing. I have never experienced service where someone just blatantly goes against the customers wishes when they are the one buying the service you provide. Interesting to say the least. The gels look nice though I suppose but they would look much better as acrylics. Won't be stopping back though. read more
