They're located five stores deep down the row of restaurants, four stores past Starbucks. I was looking for a good Mexican breakfast and order the huevos rancheros. It came with beans and fresh squeezed orange juice. I added a coffee to my order. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was like it was made at home, and very good. It is authentic Mexican food. They use all natural ingredients and even make their own mole. I did not realize their coffee is cafe de olla until I got to my table. This is a special kind of Mexican coffee which is quite good if you are in the mood for it. But it has a very unique flavor. The coffee is prepared in a clay pot, and they add raw sugar (known in Mexico as "piloncillo", or in Colombia as "panela"). All the flavors, including the taste of the clay pot come through in the coffee if it is authentic. This was. If that does not sound good to you, you can always get your coffee at Starbucks or at the 7-Eleven across the way. Since this restaurant is more like a food stand within a food court, the bathrooms are serviced by the airport not the restaurant. There is one common area with tables and chairs for dining. There are a few places which offer power outlets to recharge your devices. For what it is, this establishment does a very good job. After you dine, if you have the time, I recommend you go by the Memoria Fotográfica de México on your way back into the check-in area and to your gate. It is a an amazing display of photographs from Mexico's colorful and rich history.

On my second visit, I did and the food was delicious, with generous portions and very inexpensive (it cost me $10 for 2 people!!!). It is more of a fast food restaurant, but having eaten in one of the table-service restaurants in the airport, the food here not only tasted better, but the presentation was also more appealing. If you're not familiar with the dishes, the photos of the food are pretty accurate. I'd eat here again.

I finally worked up the nerve to try. As an American this 'food stall' would be intimidating to most Americans, but since there is always a line I decided to try. Cinthya was very nice and made me the BEST gordita and quesadilla and explained everything to me (in Spanish). I have no idea what I was eating, but they were REALLY good! And only 75 pesos ($4) for 4 GIANT gorditas and quesadillas stuffed with meat, beans, and toppings. From the airport terminal, go down the small unmarked hallway next to the regional bus terminal and pharmacy (behind Krispy Kreme in the food court). Cross the sky bridge and down the stairs. Walk about 100ft from the bottom of the stairs and turn right at the corner. She is the second building.

The place is a very small hole in the wall but the food is amazing. She sells gorditas with different types of meat or a mushroom mix that I personally ordered that was amazing and she makes quesadillas with the most amazing cheese. It's a small 5 minute walk from the airport, so if your in a time crunch and hungry between a layover don't hesitate to stop by here.

They actually have a plant based menu with about 4 or five options. I ordered the not a meatball sub and a salad. The ordering process was kind of odd as I wanted my order to go but wasn't really sure where to do that. Fortunately the employees motioned me towards the spot to order to go items. The order took about 15 minutes to come out. The salad was fresh with great veggies and a spicy broth. I don't recall the name of this particular salad but it was a cross between fruits and veggies in a spicy broth. Interesting and flavorful concept. I enjoyed it. The not meat ball sandwich was tasty as well. On a decent bread with tasty plant based meatballs. I would have liked more sauce on it but it was pretty good. I enjoyed the food, the service was good as the employees made the effort with my limited Spanish to get me what I wanted. However for what I got the prices are a little steep. I would have expected a bit larger portions for what I paid, but now I know at least. The inside of Urban Corner looked nice, open and clean. I'd give them another try in the future however there are so many other interesting shops and restaurants in the Mexico City airport to visit as well.
