When I arrived in the office I was told there is no appt for me and they don't have my paperwork. After insisting that I have confirmation and showing it, the Manager came over and told that they do have the paperwork, but she just received it yesterday from their system. I filled it out several days prior - not really my problem and no one contacted me to say there was a problem, which is why I took time off work to go to the appt. The manager was more interested in blaming me and arguing and when I was begging for resolution and to see someone else, she thought it was appropriate to tell me she could get me in at 1:30 but I wasn't listening to her so now she felt I wasn't a fit for the office! I go out to my car and cancel some meetings to return to Midway at 1:30pm. I just broke down and cried at this moment because I'm new to the area and a have had a difficult time finding a doctor that was going to be a gay men's health doctor/advocate so I had high hopes for this office and have several health issues that need to be addressed and waited almost a week for the appt only to be met with the most unprofessional, erratic, mean, and cold staff. I was able to get the prescriptions that were necessary. I've been prescribed the same medication before so I knew what I needed but Dr. Roy Dubash recommended me the same prescriptions without me asking him for the same prescriptions. I was in and out in less than an hour. Incredible experience I will definitely be coming back if I need any medical care.

I visited this office due to an allergic reaction I had all over my body due to scented detergent…read more I paid the $180 + the shot that I knew I needed a shot -- this happened when I was younger so I paid everything at the front before entering. I was then greeted by a provider who tried to explain the rxs I needed with no word of the steroid shot. When I mentioned the shot she ignored my request -- Thankfully the gentleman at the front let her know I paid for the shot, she walked back in and said she'd give it to me. i was then prescribed: prednisone to take orally and triamcinolone (Which was only 60grams to be applied full body 3-4times a day which wasn't nearly enough) as of day 3 it started clearing up but I accidentally slept on sheets that still had the scented detergent which made me flare up again. I paid for the follow up $50 & additional for the shot but was denied the prednisone which is what helped me initially. I was told that if it didnt clear up I'd be given the prednisone but to see how Zyrtec worked instead. I returned 3days later with the same complaint to follow up and was told I had to pay $180 again for my visit because I was only granted (1) follow up at $50. This was shocking to me -- no one mentioned this at all. I had to initially remind them of their follow up reduction rules the first time. I wasn't given the help I needed and the rash continues. the itching has stopped but the appearance has not gone away like it did when I had the prednisone. It's clear that's what I need but to pay $180 again is unfortunately not what I can afford. People shouldn't have to go through such difficulties to get the care they need -- especially when it's visually clear whats being requested is needed. Now I'm having to rely on Zyrtec and cream that I can't use as often because I'm limited unless I pay another $180.00 this is NOT right.

I made a call to MD Now Urgent Care to see if my daughter can be seen and to have a diagnosis and treatment for the sore throat. The lady on the phone was pleasant and told me that I can bring her in, no appointment necessary. We arrived at MD Now within a few minutes and happened to be the only ones there. The waiting area was large with adequate seating. After greeting the receptionist I was told to scan a QR code to fill out a form. Within 10-15 minutes my daughter was called in by the nurse where she had her weight and blood pressure taken...then a few minutes after the doctor came in. After my daughter explained to the doctor about the symptoms she was having with the sore throat, the doctor did a brief physical examination then had the nurse conduct a strep test, which came out negative...but after a finger stick blood test, she did test positive for mononucleosis. The doctor informed us that mononucleosis was not serious and should go away on its own. He advised my daughter to rest, take Motrin for the pain, and be on a liquid diet until she's able to eat solid foods. He also gave her a doctor's note for school. That's it, we was good to go. We was probably there for about an hour. That's the quickest I ever left a doctor's office.
