My challenge with this practice is that at certain times of the day the small-ish space feels over-filled with patients, resulting in one's rehab plan becoming hindered or lacking because most of the equipment and treatment tables are in use at the same time. And for folks recovering from procedures & injuries, such chaos and crowding stressful at best, non-conducive to healing at worst. At slower times of the day the range of therapeutic options are very effective. That said, therapists have a tendency to congregate at the desk and chat amongst themselves vs. closely monitoring or effectively checking in with the 3-4 patients they are treating at one time. Whereas Kevin was much more involved with his patients, he is no longer with the practice, and I see no need to continue services there. Generally, as a rehab professional myself, I found all of the above disappointing.

Based on reviews, I chose Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation Center. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, my mother received poor care and was not provided with meals appropriate for her diabetic needs. The food served to her and other patients was unacceptable in both quality and presentation. When I raised concerns, the facility's nutritionist responded with an unprofessional attitude. It is alarming that such standards are tolerated in a healthcare setting. Several nurses responsible for administering medication displayed poor bedside manners and showed little concern when my mother's blood sugar levels were high. The rehabilitation program was inadequate--she received only five minutes of therapy after four days in the facility (arriving Thursday evening, therapy began Monday). This lack of timely intervention severely impacted her recovery. The only positive aspect was the kindness and professionalism of two staff members who took vital signs and changed bedding. They genuinely cared for the patients. If you have no choice but to select this facility for your loved one, I strongly recommend being actively involved in their care to ensure they receive proper attention. After 10 days, I removed my mother from the facility and brought her home. Sadly, she still cannot walk and will now require physical and occupational therapy at home to regain mobility.

She is now in memorial regional Hospital, which is wonderful. The nastiness of the employees at this facility is something I've never experienced in my life. My experience with the Non-Surgical Center for Physical and Sports Medicine Center has been wonderful. The waiting room never has more than one or two patients because the staff understand the value of patients time. It's a wonderful thing to be treated courteously by office staff. Dr Chad Frank has been able to relieve my back pain which allows me greater range of motion. I know that when my back "goes out" I can trust that Dr Frank will be there to help. I have practically crawled into the center at times because when my back acts up the pain is intense. After just one visit I realize significant relief from my agony. I have not used drugs or injections as part of my treatment with Dr Frank. I know it's an option, but I have not needed to do so. I feel blessed and grateful for Dr Chad Frank.
