My friend recommended Coccinelle as one of her favorite designers when it comes to bags so I decided to check it out and see if I can go home with any quality, leather goods.
No trip is complete without shopping in Milan or at least coming home with some decent leather goodies.
What I forgot about Italy is they have their stores closed for about 2 hrs in the afternoon and didn't realize it when I was trying to open the locked doors.
Anyway, I walked around the area window shopping then walked back when they finally opened and looked over the leather goods.
The associates were definitely attentive and the least bit snobby especially for a store on this street. They listened to my questions when I told them the type of bag my mom was looking for and gave me several samples to look over.
I ended up purchasing two bags; one for my mother in black with a gold zipper trim and removable straps if she ever wanted to use it as a tote since it had handles.
I purchased a red flipover pure with a gold, removable chain so I can use it as a strap. The associate even showed me to how shorten it since at first I felt the bag hung too low.
At the register, the associate even mentioned the VAT tax refund and helped me fill out the paperwork which was really nice of them.
I'm really glad I came to Coccinelle and had a wonderful experience coming back with an awesome gift for my mom! read more
