The hand cream that she was using wasn't healing a thing. I found one brand that seemed promising while doing some research online. The site said that it was available at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart. The store was conveniently on my way home from work. Then again, I cut across most of the GTA, so I pass by a ton of stores! This store is in a plaza. There seemed to be a Food Basics or some green-painted grocery store that has closed down. Shoppers Drug Mart is in the corner further down. The parking area can be a bit chaotic. It's an older plaza and the lanes are more narrow than what I'm used to in suburbia. This store has been here for a while. It has everything that you'd expect it to have, including a grocery aisle. I walked every aisle and could not find the hand cream that I was looking for, which was disappointing. However, there was a Gold Bond one that was on sale. It has been approved by the Canadian Diabetes Society. It has proven results. It was also on sale. I bought it! I dropped the cream off at my parents' place. My mom said that she would try the hand cream out immediately. This morning, I spoke to my mom. She said that three hours later, she noticed a huge difference. She no longer has cracked hands. Nice! She asked me whether she could pay me back. Hearing her say that this product works is all that I wanted. The lone cashier at this store was friendly and made sure that each customer was okay. She helped out a senior ahead of me. I liked the care that she showed and the help that she gave. I'd come back here again when I'm in the area. (157)

Doesn't matter what it is, it is like a right of passage that on any shopping quest, I MUST first step through it's sacred sliding doors into the soft scents that can only be the cosmetics section (rereading that I think I may need some help......) In all honesty, I do think this is a great retail environment and not only because I seem to always need what shoppers has to offer. They really have it right on the retail environment. The layout is great, the visibility is amazing (it's always the brightest store) and the staff is friendly enough. It has everything and the mix of retail and pharmacy is great...what else are you going to do while waiting for the pharmacist to mix all the magical potions and call on the gods to create that coffee syrup (ok I'm not crazy but sometimes I do wonder why you have to wait for your prescription when the doctor wrote down the exact amount and the type...is it the handwriting they are figuring out...it's got to be so we have to shop around right???)? In any event, I am possessive about this shoppers and glad that I got to review it first. If you're ever in the area, stop by, because I swear this specific shoppers has...everything......

Everyone there is quite informative and if you have a question the person serving you doesn't know, they make it a point to find out from someone else. I don't have a drug plan and was even offered a discount on the already low dispensing fee. I get my annual flu shot here and they are always kind and gentle. Prescription are filled quickly and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, especially to the larger chain establishments. If you are in the Brampton area I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

Medicine for a condition normally in tube form now given in plastic bottles with very little information , not user friendly. Assistant charged me for meds which should not have happened. I decided to change pharmacies as I was changing doctors and my old pharmacy would not give a few…read morepills that I needed since I could not see my regular doctor the day I was booked due to a combination of physical and psychological issues, and that my long time soon to be former doctor was rarely filling the prescriptions slightly before I would need the refills even with plenty of notice, the information on his and the former pharmacys file, and with requests by phone and email to the doctor. Pharmasave Pape Cosburn was extremely helpful in getting through my distress without my needed psychological meds, as I had barely slept the previous two or three nights, by providing an emergency supply of those meds until I was able to see a doctor for an emergency refill. They also have really good prices on over the counter pharmaceutical meds and basic hygiene care, especially compared to the big chain pharmacies. Somewhat limited hours and delivery only on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but if you can handle 10-6, sometimes 7 pm weekdays and 10-2 Saturdays, closed Sundays and you are a reasonable distance away by transit, give this pharmacy a try--for its prices, it gives the SDM nearby a run for its money on over the counter stuff and basic care.
