There were some glitches in the project. I felt that the firm could be more transparent about the cost of ordering items through them versus ordering them yourself. It will save time and grief to order through them but it will cost you more money upfront. This cost is totally worth the convenience and, in retrospect, I would have paid it. But for cost conscious clients the firm should be upfront about that additional cost. Overall, I LOVE the design Zoltan executed for my project. I would use the firm again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for design on the cheap, Zoltan is def not for you. For distinctive, high quality design, Zoltan is an amazing partner for your project.

Miguel showed up and did a walk-through, asked a few questions, and went to work. He put the system through a test run, we walked each zone to discuss my concerns and issues; and then he came up with a plan to make the irrigation system more effective and reliable. Miguel was very professional, efficient, organized, and very knowledgeable. As I watched Miguel make adjustments to some of the sprinkler heads, you can see the care, work quality, and caring attitude in his performance. They came for the spring startup and could not figure out why one of the zones did not work. They asked us to pay extra money to have another tech coming and figuring out. We agreed and a tech spent two hours and finally found the extra box after my wife suggested to check our front garden carefully. But after he replaced the valve, he was still not able to get it work. And he left everything unfinished and asked us to contact the company and pay additional two hours for another tech to come. Several days after this visit, we noticed that another two zones did not work. According to the operation log, it happened the next watering day just after his visit. We called company and they said they were not sure whether they messed up the wires of the zones even after they saw the operations log. They asked me to pay ahead of time for another tech to come and figure out what was happening. We used another company and figured out that the previous tech shut down one of the valve and connected the incorrect wire to the controller. We cancelled the service plan and don't recommend this company at all. If you already use them, make sure they don't mess up your system after any investigation. I wish I can leave zero star for them.

At that time, I was very pleased with their work - so much so, I referred 3 family members and another friend - all of which also paid thousands of dollars to Dream House for various purchases. Two years ago, I reached out to Wendy again - this time for help when I purchased a second home in Florida. I spent $6,500K with Dream House on curtain rods, finials, rings, etc. and it ended up being an absolute fiasco. When the installer (whom I hired privately in Florida) arrived, he said the drapes could not be hung with these curtain rods because the drapes were too heavy. When I reached out to Wendy and Cassie, I learned they were both on vacation together in Spain. Wendy's response from Spain: "...how were we to know they were super heavy? We ordered rods for regular draperies." This response is from a woman who has 44 years of design experience? -- i.e. Wouldn't you inquire about the drapery fabric before ordering the rods and/or let a client know the limitations of the rods when selecting drape fabric? The drape installer left after I received this text from Wendy in Spain, "...I understand how you feel, but I worked very, very hard on this for you...spent hours on this. I've used all these rods before..I have never had an issue. At this point I'm on vacation and would rather not have to take care of this right now." Though Wendy admitted later that she should have never taken on my design project (true!), they only refunded me $1,100 for curtain rod hardware that I returned to them - indicating to me that the curtain rod company would not allow anything else to be returned since is it was custom ordered, and I also had to pay a 20% restocking fee. Disgusted, I asked Cassie to mail the $1,100 check to my Maryland address; instead she mailed it to my Florida home. When I requested that Cassie re-send the check to me at my Maryland home as requested, she told me she could only do this if I paid a $40 check stop payment fee. The moral of my story: Buyer beware! If you run into any issues, be assured from my experience that neither Wendy nor Cassie will take ANY ownership of the problem. Beyond a frustrating and disappointing experience from a once very loyal customer. My only solace is that I have repeated my horrible experience to many friends and family who will also never shop at Dream House again.

Mostly it is filled with oversized furniture which is a modern but comfortable take on higher end pieces. Me and my friend went to the back and sat on these amazing chairs that were electronically reclining. Cause I don't want to have to push with my back on the hair to make it recline. What am? An animal?! The woman who was very pleasant told us that the chairs could come in one of like 50 different fabrics and leathers. I sat on another couch before I left which was very comfortable. If I had a larger house, I would definitely stop by this store. I do like a lot of the patterns on the furniture. The customer service was great! I like the customizability! I do remember the prices were a little on the higher side, but probably level with other stores like it in the area. Also... I'm gonna be honest, I don't have the best gauge on furniture prices. I don't go furniture shopping that often, and when I do it's for vintage furniture. I wouldn't hesitate to stop back into the store to see the new things they have in stock.

The quality of the sofa is superior, and we always receive compliments on how comfortable it is and how nice it looks with the rest of our living room. The blinds are great for privacy since we are able to have the bottom portion of our windows blocked with the light coming in at the top. We always receive compliments on how well put together our home looks. Where we live we have a huge wasp population (I think I have seen every species possible flying around) so we wanted to avoid open bottom lights as we had issues with wasps building nests in them. Also my husband made it even harder as he didn't want, plain black with clear plain glass, which of course is most the current style. Both Lori and Tracey helped us out. We sat looking at lots of catalogs, checking online. We spent a long time in the store and they were very patient with us. We even found some that we liked, but they were super expensive (of course the catalogs don't have prices, they have to sit with a computer to assist) as we needed 7 lights even they knew that would not be a good pick and we continued searching. We eventually were successful, they ordered our lights and within a week they were ready for pick up. They recommended 2 electricians for us, one they felt especially suited our needs after talking with us. We got quotes from a few local electricians as we live further out, but we also got one from the guy they recommended: Mark from Monocacy Electrical & Lighting Services LLC. He was the most friendly and knowledgeable guy and fairly priced, we used him and were quite happy! Our lights look fantastic, we were very happy with the whole experience. Except the Ouch to the bank account, s there lighting is much more expensive than shopping at Home Depot, but there lighting is unique and fantastic. You get what you pay for as they say.
