Now I have been there a few times and therefore I can probably allow myself a judgement. Cobham is a huge service area on the London motorway M25 that forms a circle around London. Perfect for a short stop, especially when you need a short break from heavy traffic. Parking is sufficiently available and well accessible. Particularly noteworthy are the free toilets which are maintained well and kept reasonably clean. Beyond that many ways to eat something are offered without getting much delay. On site are Hamden's Fish and Chips, Starbucks, an Indian Restaurant, Burger King, Nandoo's and some others. There's also a grocery store and a souvenir shop that is also offering some mobile phone accessories. Nearby is a gas station. For me it's almost a mandatory stop off when I drive from Heathrow to the south. read more

I'm struggling with this place. On the one hand it's one of the best motorway service stops I've seen. It has a big range of different restaurants and pretty much all the facilities you could want. And they are all in good condition and clean. On the other hand, everyone stopped here seems to be the sort of person you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alleyway on a rainy night. read more

This is one of the better service stations. It has better than average food including curries plus the usual burgers. All the usual facilities and shops. I would not buy petrol here unless desparate there are cheeper places nearby. If you are passing drop in, there is nothing else for miles. read more

This service station is part of the 'extra' group of motorway services. If you have been to the one on the M40 then you will know what to expect here. Although this one does not have a pub on site!! There are lots of car parking spaces some close some not so close. If you are pulling in to have a nap, the first two hours of parking are free. After that I have no idea how much you will get charged and be warned they use number plate recognition so if you stay longer I think they may send you one of those unnecessary brown envelopes!! The thing that makes these services stand out is the wide range of eateries. If you are hungry you are sure tobe able to find something to eat here. You can choose from the usual suspects, McDonalds, KFC and Starbucks. The different, albeit becoming a bit more frequent depending on which services you might be forced to stop at, includes El Mexicana, Carvery Express, Auntie Annies, Eat Inn, Chozen Noodles and M & S Simply food. There is also a Days Inn Budget hotel on site, which I understand has meeting rooms for hire along with the obligatory meeting rooms. Did I forget to mention the petrol station, it is large and bright and new, not much more you can ask form a service station so if you are on the M25 between junction 9 & 10 you could do worse than to stop in here. read more
