Had the pleasure of working at Cobblestone Limousine in Stuart Fl for about 6 months until late February 2024. It was a stop gap from day one, meant to supplement my failing Real Estate business, and a rapidly rising cost of living in my beloved home state...but I digress. I will say that I've never bothered to review any of my previous employers, in fact I'd rather review a Domino's Pizza from iPhone at 2am...but it was the varying degree of reviews of this business from former employees, including some of the rather crude opinions of the current ownership that have pushed me to do so, even almost two weeks after relocating to New Mexico for an opportunity that I just couldn't let fly over my head. My wonderfully fun, exhausting, and illuminating time working for this 32-year-old small but thriving business was filled with early mornings, late nights, talkative passengers, quiet passengers, flirty passengers, condescending passengers...etc. But if you're coming from any sort of customer service, restaurant, or hospitality background, you know that THAT'S JUST PEOPLE, and such is the way of the world. The job itself is not terribly difficult, there is no extensive exhausting training, the base pay is more than fair (even in this economy), and basically you will be weeded out by the quality and safety of your driving, as well as your personality and service. Basically, if you can tie a tie, maintain a clean appearance, crack a well-timed joke or play a well-timed song...and enjoy driving a range of luxury vehicles on a daily basis, this is the gig for you, and you won't come home smelling like kitchen or with aching feet, regardless of what time you turn in your car. Every once in a while you'll have a passenger who grinds your gears, and I'm sure many passengers get dropped off perhaps thinking that you weren't charming enough, or that maybe you drove to slow or too fast (a couple passengers may also slip you $100 to "get there faster", or come inside to help zip up a dress whatever, but that's neither here no there)...but the point is to not take it personally, and enjoy each ride as it's own individual experience. You will also have repeat passengers who request you...which may or may not be to your liking depending on the passenger, but again, enjoy the ride! About the 3rd owners of Cobblestone...they are a married GERMAN couple who divide operations equally, and in a short 5 or 6 years they have streamlined and expanded this humble hometown company to make it a respected name across the entire state of Florida (I'm for real...if you're good, you will be on both coastlines and in every city). In their very German way, you will find them to be straight shooters, and almost shockingly honest compared to American sensibilities, but always helpful, always fair, and always understanding. Don't be surprised or take it personally when they say something to you like "This is not a kindergarten", or "Examine your brain"...they're just telling you that you can do better. The drivers were very polite and professional but the quality of service I received at my pick up was definitely not worth the $1,104.00 I paid. The drop off was fine but upon my return I was told to take the elevator down a flight and to find parking space # 30. I exited with my family and luggage from a 2 week cruise at #12 and had to push our luggage to the van at the end of the international section while the driver sat in the van. I observed other drivers assist their passengers out to the curb then drove the vehicle around to pick them up. I did not get that kind of service. I spoke to owner Demi who only cared to justify the incident as a normal service event. You would have thought for $1,104.00 I would get some assistance, not be told to find them. Horrific customer service. Many other reliable and polite shuttle services in area. They sent a car which stunk very, very bad. Then, we spoke to a woman last week, I think her name began with 'D'. She was condescending and sarcastic when I was asking questions about their cars and pricing. No way to speak to those who help keep you in business, aka: customers. She also gave incomplete information. Go ELSEWHERE! Too many options available than to settle with rudeness and mediocrity. read more

This company is an absolute fraud. They have No disregard for the safety of their drivers or passengers. They do NOT follow their own contract guidelines and will repeatedly take money from your card used at booking. Even after reporting them for fraud they continue to take money randomly. When you call their offices they refuse to give information as to why they feel they are entitled to add bogus fees at their own discretion. Nothing more than thieves! read more

Sadly leaving a bad review for a good ride. Company added a 22% "Standard Gratuity" to my bill. $93.50. When I informed the company that I had already tipped the driver the night of the trip ($100.00) the answer was that the standard gratuity is always included in the price. Sorry to inform, but if it always included in the price then it is a FEE not a gratuity. Great service from booking to drop off! They were prompt, courteous and professional. While we were in the concert the used glassware was replaced and the inside was tidied up. We all agreed it was worth it and would def use them again!!!! read more

We hired COBBLESTONE on Thursday December 14th, for a limo for Saturday December 16th 2023. They first made an agreement that there would be a deposit of $150.00 to hold reservation, that the rest of the balance ($310.00) would be taken when the job was completed Saturday 12/16/2023. FIRST, they take the whole balance of $310.00 1pm that afternoon, then we were unable to use there service because there was a tropical storm 12/16/2023, where there where 30 mph winds, and severe heavy rains, and was COMPLETELY UNSAFE to drive around for 3 hours in this type of conditions. We TOLD the gentleman who ALWAYS ANSWERS THERE PHONES, told him we did not feel safe moving forward that night, the gentleman said on the phone that we would lose our deposit per agreement, but said we would still be refunded the balance. The following day, SUNDAY 12/17/2023 THEY SENT EMAIL THAT WE WOULD NOT BE REFUNDED AT ALL, that we lost all of $460.00 that they took unauthorized. We are a firm of attorneys that will now be taking legal action against COBBLESTONE LIMO for said fees STOLEN FROM US. PLEASE EVERYONE, DO NOT EVER USE COBBLESTONE LIMO, use a legitimate company th.at does not steal money just because a credit card is on file. A company that cares about the safety of its clients, and its drivers. DO NOT USE COBBLESTONE, ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL ME DIRECT AND I WILL EXPLAIN WORD FOR WORD WHAT THEY DID.
