Maybe drives and people are the same...the harder you try, the worse the shot ends up. (Tee boxes and fairways are great here. Tee boxes were aerated recently, but plugs were all gone. Center cut of fairways is narrow in places, but that makes it fun!) Playing from the tips, I can score in the 80's here, but scoring a long term friendship with people I care about seems to evade me. (Low scores at this course are generated by playing smart. With lots of creeks and water your shot selection needs to include several layups and specific yardages to put you in a good position to hit the green.) I can usually read a green better than I can read a person. However, the greens here are tough. You first think it will go left, but then you walk it and maybe it will go right, so you don't give up the cup and run it 4 feet past the hole to the right. (Sometimes you just have to go for it, even if failure is imminent.) A lot of people don't understand golf. A lot of people don't like golf, or those that play. That's ok...I don't understand a lot of people. Love the bridges, scenic views, and an obviously well cared for track.

Really nice golf course that I've played at least once a year for many years…read more I've played when it's hot. I've played when it's not. I've played in the rain. I've played with half a brain. All true except for the last one...I was thinking about when I played here 2 years ago...it was my first time playing golf after an eye injury. I couldn't quite focus on the ball and it was frustrating! Anyways, course is setup really well with 4 tee boxes to choose from. Expect to be challenged from the tips. The more forward tees make an enjoyable experience for higher handicaps. Greens are fast, tee boxes well kept, and everything is usually in good shape. Very friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend walking because there are a few green to tee trips which are quite long. I hope the course sticks around for many more years...I have yet to break 80 here...but I will someday! Also - looks like they are building a few more houses on the course, just in case you are looking to live there.

Each hole has a unique designl, making this an interesting and fun course to play for golfers of all ages and all skill levels. The clubhouse has a comfortable feel along with plenty of space to accommodate private events of all kinds in a traditional, small town style. The clubhouse bar is simply a great time - always occupied by local members and guests who are friendly and inviting, along with a clubhouse staff that is absolutely terrific! You have to try Limberlost Golf Club. The course has never looked better. It is a great value and a really great time.

Unfortunately, due to rain the night before, greens were expectedly slow. Also, pace could've been better but it's weekend morning and we still finished in a little over 4 hours. I think it would have been too much for a larger group. The outdoor seating was nicely decorated and comfortable for a May-June wedding. There was good air flow and this time. I'm not sure how comfortable it would be in July or August. The reception used the bar area for food service and alcoholic beverages. This area was nicely laid out and presentable for this purpose. The food was catered by a non Autumn Ridge group. I'm not sure if they cater or not. I would consider this place for an event.
