I would recommend anyone that is looking for a good quality and fitting shoe to give Fleet Feet a shot. They have a great return policy and their staff are always helpful and happy to provide any pointers you may need (like a new way to tie your shoes if you have wider feet). I've also enjoyed trying different running/active apparel they carry (you really should try some TASC clothing). My wife is currently in a training program with Fleet Feet and she has enjoyed that aspect of the store as well. Venture in this store with confidence and enjoy a positive atmosphere filled with people that want to help you meet your goals (whatever they may be).

I'm not a real fan of this store. Obviously, because I only gave it 2 stars. My oldest daughter…read moredoes like to drag me in here though. I've tried on numerous shoes here and I've yet to ever find one single pair that I would even remotely consider purchasing. It kinda reminds me of a more upscale Payless and I don't do Payless. What really turned me off of this place was one of the sales guys. If not for him and the incident with him that happened, I would have at least given this place 3 stars. I was in here one night with my married daughter (yes, she had her wedding rings on), and she was trying on boots. I think we were the only customers in the store at the time. This sales guy comes up and starts flirting with her. She smiled at him and acknowledged him because she didn't want to be rude, but she did hold up her hand to show him her rings and she politely told him she was married. He continued to hit on her which made her horribly uncomfortable. He then turned to me and said, and I quote, "Your daughter is smoking hot." Ummmmmm. Hmmmmm. WTF was I suppose to say to that?! Yes, I was actually momentarily speechless. How much more inappropriate can you possibly get? I finally got my words back and told him she was married and informed him that his comment was completely inappropriate. What did he have to say? I'll tell you. He said, "Well, it's true." My daughter couldn't get those boots off fast enough and then we were out of there! I wish now I would have had the good sense to call the next day and speak with a manager about the incident. But I didn't. And now it's been too long ago and I don't remember the guy's name.

The prices are a little high but I do always find something to get when I come here. There's also some Mississippi university clothes as well as purses and accessories up front. The place isn't dirty but it could use some tidying up. I'm a big feet girl and girls with big feet aren't too particular about their shoes because they will just make giants if the heels are too tall. Today I got a new pair of heels for work. They are a bit shorter which is nice. I'll wear them for 4 months straight, they'll break, I'll throw them away, and be back here to buy another pair to start the process all over again. These were $39.

I guess something is better than nothing though, right? They have a pretty decent selection here and when shopping with my twenty-something daughters, they can always find something they want for momma to buy them. If you're looking for designer brands like Coach and Michael Kors, you may or may not be able to find much here because the selection is not as large. Sometimes they have it and sometimes they don't. I do like the fact that if you find a shoe you just can't do without and they don't have it in your size, then you can purchase the shoe and they will have it shipped to you for free. Also, if you shop at DSW a lot like I do, then make sure to sign up for their rewards program. Make sure to check the clearance racks too. Sometimes you can find some really great shoes there at a really great price.
