Parking was easy, free, and conveniently located to all the festivities which is a huge plus. This is also one of the few local markets where I've actually seen a large selection of fresh produce and and farm goods available. It was refreshing to see so many people bring their market bags on wheels, wagons, etc. ready to purchase fresh fruits & veggies and support our local farmers. Beautiful watermelons, tomatoes, papaya, lettuces, corn, peppers, zucchini, and more. There's a good mix of vendors ranging from jewelry and handcrafted goods to food trucks and specialty food items. We got mango coladas, mango flower with tajin, breakfast tacos, and of course, kettle corn. Huge plus that there is the downtown splash pad for all the kids to play right in the middle of all the action. It was a HOT one and this was a great way for my little guy to cool off and burn some energy while we sat and enjoyed our food. If you have kids, I highly suggest they wear their swimsuits and bring some towels to dry off.

We drove to the old location first then made our way here based on stuff we found online. I was disappointed as it wasn't so much a farmer's market with fruits and veggies, but rather a county fair type setup with people selling other stuff. Sure there was food like muffins and honey, drinks for sale, etc., but not exactly what I expected. It was during Covid and would hope it improves once Boxi Park reopens and more traffic is coming through the area.

A weeks worth of fruits and veggies for juicing came out to less than $20.00. That is 1/4 of the bill that I was racking up at publix once a week. Each bottle was a bit over five dollars, which is I guess a competitive price and a cheaper option than flying to Puerto Rico to pick up a few more bottles. It is very conveniently located, being basically on the corner of John Young Parkway and Vine Street. It is not a bad place to check out and has great prices, but as I have mentioned before, you do get what you are paying for. I guess three stars is a fair rating.
