Everything in West Palm feels like a chain. It's a lot of restaurants telling you that "they do…read morethings differently around here" and then they give you the same product and same mediocre service as the place next door. I picked Batch while walking by because it had the cutest vibe but we weren't expecting much. We were greeted by Rachel, the manager, at the host stand. She didn't just lead us to our table, she walked with us. She asked us if we were from the area and what brought us in. It was all small talk but felt genuine. She waited until we were seated to hand us or menus and it didn't feel rushed. Gabby, our server, showed confidence and love for the place when she introduced herself. They make everything from scratch here and Gabby sold us on the eggrolls and mac and cheese to start. However, before those could arrive, Rachel came by with an order of biscuits for us. These were absolutely to die for and the gesture was very kind. The eggrolls, bbq sauce, and ranch were the highlight of our food adventure here. You could tell this was all freshly made. We both ordered burgers and those were very good, hearty, and not greasy. Their house sauce B1 added a perfect element of smokiness to the burger. Gabby's service ensured we always had refills, never had to ask for anything, and the table was always clean. Rachel stopped by and checked on us and also gave us cute glasses to take home with us and coupons to come back for happy hour for some "off menu snacking". So if you're asking if Batch does things differently, they absolutely do. We can't wait to bring our friends next time. Ask for Rachel and Gabby and don't sleep on the eggrolls!

Why did it take me so long to visit this place? I've followed the Biscuit Lady's Bakehouse on…read moreInstagram for over a year and probably drooled on my phone just a couple times. There was so much to choose from, so how could I not try something savory and sweet? The chupacabra was unbelievably delicious with a fluffy buttery biscuit, some of the best mac and cheese (very cheesy!), hot sauce, and crispy juicy fried chicken. It was like a whole southern meal packaged in a sandwich, but it took me two days to finish (it was huge!). The All hallow's eve was a perfect mix of sweet and savory, starting off with a cinnamon roll biscuit that puts both biscuits and cinnamon rolls to shame, crunchy fried chicken, an egg and bacon. It was delicious with and without the maple syrup. The Biscuit Lady was so accommodating and I love the shop's 365 Halloween theme! I can't wait to go back and try their dozens of other fabulous creations!

The menu screams delicious while I was deciding what I wanted. The iced butter pecan coffee was alright. It was on the bland side for me. The Monty biscuit is mighty! It's a Frenchy biscuit stuffed with sausage, frittata style egg, and cheese with a side of maple syrup. There is no seating and it's a to-go food place. I waited about 10 minutes for the biscuit sandwich while sipping on the coffee. It may be best to call your order ahead of time in case you are running short on time. Thanks for the Monty fill up!

Love that their whole menu, including breakfast items are available the whole day or the whole time…read morethey are open! We tried their new pancake flight and it didn't disappoint! Every pancake was light, fluffy and very flavorful! The blueberry biscuit crumble and candied walnut banana foster were my favorite pancakes! The strawberry lemon ricotta pancake was not my favorite but that is mainly because I'm not a huge fan of strawberry syrups or any syrup really. I was able to eat every pancake without syrup because they were that flavorful and they also had whipped cream and butter. We also tried the healthier start chicken egg white scramble. This was also delicious and we picked the side of potatoes. I only wish they offered sides of some of their dishes like a side of hash browns or a small pancake. Service was great and fast. Our server was very nice and explained what dishes were popular and new there. Can't wait to go back!

This was a last-minute booking, but everything worked out in the end. Our server, whose name I sadly can't recall, was a 10/10! He was so helpful and kind, and he shared details about his life with us, creating a personal connection. Our meal was served in a timely manner, and everything met our expectations. Before we started eating, we like to give grace, and another customer noticed this moment and showed her appreciation. We all felt very welcomed here! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone and visit again!

I can't comment on the food because of the customer service. I flew in and landed pretty late (PBI)…read moreso I came here for some food after many hours on a plane. I asked the girl if she could recommend me anything to eat since nothing had any ingredients. I asked her to just recommend things to eat for someone why just got off of a 9nhoir flight, anything that she likes to eat. She responded by saying 'idk what you like" but constantly added the word 'reyna' which maked me feel like she was being condescending. I remained clam and reiterated that I'm just really hungry and tired and ask for a simple recommendation of what they had to offer. I noticed I was then receiving dirty looks from people who came from the back to change the cash register. I don't see why people would be so angry and impatient at someone who doesn't know about Cuban cuisine and simply asking what's good! I just received the same response of "idk what you want" but with the word " reyna", which translates in English to "queen".... Bruh If I was a "queen" you think I could get either a simple explanation of the what's in the food they serve or better yet, just toss some savory foods that are edible - I would have devoured them! Instead I felt stupid, disrespected, and insulted. I don't recommend this place if you're curious to try Cuban foods/pastries because the staff has absolutely no patience or give a shit about any words coming out of your mouth. Havana restaurant is actually very decent. They have really good ox tail

My friend purchased a velvet cake for me without knowing that it contained cream cheese frosting…read morewhich I am allergy with. The cake was completely untouched. Before returning to the store, we called in advance to ask if we could exchange it for another cake. The first employee placed us on hold for about five minutes. Then another employee came on the line and confirmed, "Yes, you can bring it in and we will exchange it," while apologizing for her limited English. Based on that confirmation, we thanked her and drove all the way from Gardens back to the store. When we arrived, we were given a completely different answer. The server said she would contact the manager, but we were not allowed to speak with the manager directly. The server communicated with the manager by phone in another language, and then typed a response into Google Translate on her phone to show us: "Once the item leaves the store, it cannot be exchanged." We explained again that we had called beforehand and were clearly told to bring the cake in for an exchange. The server contacted the manager again and then typed the exact same message on her phone--without any further explanation, accountability, or apology for the misinformation we were given over the phone. This situation could and should have been handled properly during the initial call. Had we been told the correct policy, we would not have wasted our time and gas driving back to the store. The lack of clear communication and unwillingness to let us speak directly with a manager made the experience even more frustrating. To make matters worse, the cake was not fresh. It tasted old and dry, and we cannot eat it or give it to anyone. It is going to be thrown away. This was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I hope the owner reviews staff training, communication procedures, and customer service standards to prevent this from happening to other customers.
