To make things even better, he happened to be working in our area (HHI) that same afternoon and offered to stop by after he wrapped up his current job. I couldn't believe my luck and crossed my fingers that it wasn't too good to be true. A few hours later, Moises texted to let me know he was about ten minutes away--which I really appreciated--and assured me he was comfortable with dogs (a relief since we have two large ones). He impressed me right away: warm, genuine, and highly knowledgeable. He naturally presented himself as confident in his abilities without being the least bit presumptuous--the kind of quietly confident professional who makes you feel right away that you're in good hands. His bid was also significantly lower than the two others I received, included more work done, and was going to be completed much sooner. Every step of the job reflected that same calm, capable energy, and the results spoke for themselves. The finished work was flawless, completed on time, and left my home looking brand new. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL / DOES NOT WARRANTY WORK…read more I hired Alex to fully renovate our newly bought 2300 square-foot house, including new floors, walls and ceilings and a few other small projects and paid him over $25,000. He and his team did an OK job but the problems we soon discovered were: 1) they had used the wrong paint on the doors and all of the door started appealing within a few weeks. 2) Also, they came back to touch up the walls but used the wrong finish paint and now the house is full of spots that reflect with light. 3) However, the real issue is he was also hired to paint/epoxy the garage floor. Unfortunately, it started peeling within months and then he told me it was because we had an EV and we did not tell him about it. After consulting with Sherwin-Williams rep, they said that was not the problem. It was not finished right. Alex said he would warranty the work and came out to patch up some of the spots that were peeling. Those spots quickly peeled right up. On top of this, Alex had asked me to fully remove everything from our garage, which took me over five hours to move by myself. He then told me he would be coming back later to fully refinish the floor in which I needed to remove everything from the garage once again. I had moved everything outside and wrapped it with tarps as it was raining that week and he never showed up. So I had to move ALL of our items both out of the garage and back in for no reason. I have back issues with the pending back surgery and after this I could not walk for three days. He then told me he would be coming out at a later time (Third time visit ) to fix the floors and for me to again to remove all the items. I did not do any moving this time knowing he has not showed up before and once again he did not show up. At this point in time, he does not answer any of my messages and has also stopped responding to the Sherwin-Williams paint rep who provide all the materials and he said he needs to do the job right. Based on the not best quality of work and the fact that he simply does not warranty his work and will stop answering your emails - I would highly recommend to find another dependable contractor. I will no longer be working with Alex again.

I had excellent communication…read morewith Jeff while his crew did the upstairs and myself and my family were at work. it wasn't until they started on the downstairs that things went south, quickly! The crew was alone in my house apparently unsupervised and they went in my garage and helped themselves to expensive tools that were neatly tucked away. my late mothers pottery had been broken with a hand towel placed over it, and I started to see the crew wasn't patching wholes, they were painting over nails, and even left my rod iron candlesticks attached to the wall and painted "around them " instead of simply taking them off the wall! I immediately called management and after about 30 minutes management was on site and we began walking through the entire house marking all the bad sits with blue painters tape. They didn't take off any of the light plates so there was paint on them, paint on my kitchen cabinets, in the bathtub, even on the door hardware!! to this day I'm still finding little drips and stupid mistakes that shouldnt happen when you're paying over 10 grand!! overall it was the management that saved this project, but I definitely would not use them again! for anyone that wants to hire them, make sure you're there, watching what the crew is doing!!! do NOT leave them alone in your home!!

After negotiating with them for several months their only response was to pay for a couple of gallons of paint. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else where a business stands by its warranty.
