My regular gastroenterologist referred me to Dr. Desai because I guess I have unusual anatomy. I went in for an ERCP but my regular gastroenterologist couldn't complete the surgery and called Dr. Desai to come in and he suggested he try and do the surgery again later that day. I loved that he sat and explained everything that happened and would happen to me and my husband and even allowed my husband back in the surgery room for a few minutes as he knew I was pretty nervous. My husband said while I was in recovery he came out and explained again what he did and actually gave him his direct number with any questions we might have later. Fast forward a couple weeks and I went back to see Dr. Desai as I still wasn't feeling well and he suggested another surgery but he explained everything and why I needed it and totally calmed my fears about everything. He has a wonderful bedside manner and really listens to you and answers your questions in a down to earth way. The office is convenient for me too, located on Blossom in the same building as my primary care doctor so that's awesome! I also adore his office staff! They are so friendly and they get stuff taken care of! I was going to a different gastroenterologist and I like him ok, but I'm not going back to see see anyone but Dr. Desai now!

He would not listen to me. I tried to explain to him that I was sent there on a referral for some very severe problems. I explained to him what I have been doing the past two weeks. He basically told me to go home and keep doing what I was doing that I would be OK. Are you kidding me? If you don't have Covid you don't exist in the world right now. I wouldn't recommend this physician to my dog.

The last time was the worst when they blew the vein in my hand and now two weeks late the back of my hand is sitll black and blue. Also, though I had receipts with proof that I had already fulfilled my deductible they made me pay it again anyway in order to proceed with the procedure. NOW they owe me a refund and I feel certain that will be a fiasco as well. I will NOT have another procedure at this facility.

I was supposed to do a "Telehealth" visit with Dr. Kafrouni, and a couple of hours before the appointment I called the office to inform them that I never got any instructions or emails on how to do this "Telehealth" thing. Well, the operator answered and proceeded to help me (don't know why I wasn't referred to a regular office staff). First of all, she told me I wasn't registered with their portal (wrong, I was registered 7 years ago). then she tells me that I already got emails telling me about the Telehealth procedures (wrong, never got them). Then she tells me she will send them again (I still did not get the emails). I kept telling this IQ challenged (i.e. extremely retarded and deaf) person that I still haven't received the emails. This imbecile of a twit of an idiot keeps telling me that I should have them. I repeated to this moron 5x that I did not get the emails nor ever have that remotely resembled instructions on Telehealth. I then asked to speak to the office manager who basically was too busy to trifle with patients (I was on hold over 10 minutes). Once she finally came on, I told her about the "operator's" incompetence, and then she then wanted to slowly walk me through the portal at that point. I told her that I did not expect to wait on the phone so long, and told her that I had to go, and that I probably wouldn't want to be a patient any longer. In summary, just look at this business reviews at their various locations. The reviews don't lie; their practices suck big time, but I guess they make enough money so they really couldn't care less if they piss off a 1000+ patents or more.

I made an appointment online which was nice and easy and quicker than waiting on hold to do it. There's a few doctors in the office, but you go to his window and sign in and they take your copay and then you wait. And wait. There weren't many people in the waiting room but I waited about 45 minutes past my appointment time which is frustrating but not really surprising. I finally saw his physician's assistant but still has to pay my full co-pay although I didn't see the doctor. So. Huh. The PA was super nice and explained everything well so that was awesome. I needed to schedule my gallbladder surgery for a pretty specific time frame due to vacation times, coworkers vacations, etc. The scheduler said she would get that booked and call me the next day. She didn't. So I called her the day after that. Got her voicemail. Called again. Got her voicemail. This went on for a few days all the while I'm worrying that I can't get everything scheduled. Finally we connected and got things set up but I still had to wait on confirmation. Finally, finally I got the confirmation and could schedule my vacation and my husband's vacation so he can be with me. Ka-chow that was a pain!! I like Dr. Yo really well, and my gastroenterologist recommended him but man his office staff is a little trying. Hopefully I won't have to see him or his staff that often!

We went to their location near Ellington Airport and was told we can wait for a doctor after 3:00pm. After realizing that 8 people were already scheduled for after 3:00pm is was clear to us this was going to be a long wait. We are both patients of this business but we told them to cancel her appointment and my future appointment that we will go somewhere else. This was appalling the way they treated her. Dr Bala has been our gastroenterologist for years. We will never go back to them after this incident !
