Then the room has the strangest bump out cut into it that I think was the office. The Indian sounding man was in there at 11:30 pm talking so loud we could hear every word he said. The lack of window blinds made sleeping impossible. The photo was taken at 2:00am. I couldn't sleep. It was like daylight in the room. I will say the room was clean! If you're taller than 5'10", you won't be able to stand under the shower. It's really low. The smoke detector was missing, pretty sure that's against the law. The "deadbolt" was a metal rod you barely stuck into a hole. Not a safe feeling at all.

It was soooo beautiful!!! We selected a time for sunset but they also offer sunrise. Our package came with a charcuterie box and we were able to substitute the bubbly beverage for a non-bubbly, due to dietary restrictions. Curator and Owner was very nice to communicate with. They texted us to let us know our picnic was all set up, 15 minutes before scheduled time. Then we texted when we were leaving. We had two hours to enjoy our picnic. Included in our basket was hand wipes, bug spray, and trash bag, things I hadn't even thought of!! Our package came with a blue tooth speaker but was surprised by a dating "get to know" each other card game, which even though we are married was fun to play!!! We will definitely book again next time we are in the OBX!!!

We had a lot of guests complimenting the performances for the ceremony and cocktail hour. For the reception, there were people on the dance floor all night long and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time. He sent us a questionnaire early in the process, which was actually really helpful because there were a lot of things that we hadn't even considered and this prevented us from having to make last minute decisions or be stuck with something we didn't like. He made sure we knew everything that we would need to do (like make sure the groom and officiant got mic'd up 30 minutes before the ceremony) and was very clear during each transition. He was really easy to work with and complemented our perfect day!

He's very easy to work with, knows how to improvise when needed, got along great with both the wedding staff and our guests and, most importantly, is very talented singing and playing both the guitar and ukelele. We live in the Northeast, so we had to plan everything with Jeremy via email. We didn't actually meet him until RIGHT before the ceremony began, but it didn't matter. Jeremy was very easy to coordinate with, offered great suggestions to help us out, and executed the music for our wedding to perfection! Also, his prices were among the lowest we found, even though we could not possibly imagine anyone working out better and performing JUST what we had in mind more than Jeremy did. He's great and really enhanced our and our wedding guests' experience!

The rooms were pretty comfortable, and the continental breakfast with homemade blueberry muffins were delicious. Downside, there was still renovation activity going on in the rooms nearby. Plus, the mini fridges had not been installed yet so no way to keep our leftovers cool. In the end, the staff was super friendly and ready to assist... and the check in/out was a breeze.

It all just felt yucky!! The breakfast muffins were standard grocery store and the coffee you make yourself was weak and lacked flavor. They have age old hand scribbled sticky notes everywhere telling you what not to do including a large envelope asking for housekeeping tips. Even the sunset pier had broken furniture. For $175.00 per night I would not stay here again. In fact, I would not stay here at any price. I would have been happier in a chain motel!!
