What I did not know was that Jamie runs Savannah Wedding Vendors networking group, and was able to help me find my other vendors. People always say it's best to book vendors who know each other and work well together. But it was equally as important for me to book vendors I thought I would work well with, and the vendor's in Jamie's group were all the right fit. Our journey with Jamie started with our engagement shoot, which was included in the wedding package. She was happy to meet us at two locations, and we had plenty of time in our hour to do fun photoshoots at both places. It ended up pouring for our second location, but she was prepared with clear umbrellas that worked not only as a cute prop, but kept us dry as we were unprepared. The turnaround time for these photos was nearly instant. More than a year later was our wedding day. For months before the wedding, we were in touch with timeline edits, inspiration photos, and questions. My husband wanted to get pictures of all the groomsmen getting ready at the barbershop the day before the wedding. We booked one of her assistants, David, who was a joy to work with. He did not leave until he had every picture he wanted to get and his personality was so munch fun. Who knew that photos of people getting hair cuts could look so good?! On wedding day, Jamie arrived early, camera in hand and ready to go. I showed her my gown and the "Jamie Box" and let her work her magic. One thing I have to say, is just trust Jamie with the rings. My husband is a firefighter, and including that element into our wedding day was important to us. She did a phonemical job capturing it, I mean just look at the photos in my review! Angie came as her second shooter and was just a phenomenal. She took most of the groom and groomsmen portraits, which included our dog of honor, Haley. The great lengths Jamie and her team go to, to ensure their clients get the best photos, is unmatched. I think it is easy for photographers to pick their top 5 photos from an event, which makes them look amazing, but Alexis shared TONS of pictures for multiple weddings, where I was able to see her ability to capture everything, from special moments, to details, to the redundant group and family photos. Alexis is someone that makes you feel comfortable right away. We used Alexis for our engagement photos and for our wedding day photos. I was a little nervous about the engagement photos since I'd never had a professional photographer snapping pics of me before (not many people have, right?) so I wasn't sure how it would be. But we had SO MUCH FUN that day. Alexis got great shots of us. She gave us good direction and was able to see photo opportunities in spaces you wouldn't think of. Alexis instantly felt like an old friend and so we were able to enjoy the whole experience. Plus we LOVED our engagement photos and made a beautiful photo book of the images.
