Husband went to office and was told "You need to make a deposit", but in November was told no deposit was needed. Then told that sod would be installed in April, guess what no sod. Spoke directly with owner, he came by the house and verified that no sod was installed but he would call back on Monday. No call, no sod. But we did receive a bill to be paid in full on May 9. Went to the office again (8th time at office) numerous phone calls. Baldwin turf is saying the job is completed, even though the owner physically saw it had not been done. Well we are in the last week of May, still no sod, but our 2 neighbors, one who ordered at the same time as us have theirs completed and the other ordered a month ago and they are finished already. No explanation as of yet. I do not like giving them a star when that is too high.

I readily admit that both the nursery and I have a hand in the mistake that was made, m aybe even…read moremuch more my mistake than theirs. My recommended tag line for them would be caveat emptor because they have no interest and working with me and perhaps they refuse similar requests from all customers asking for correcting a mistake, no matter who made it , when it's a product that could be returned and perhaps have a restocking fee charged. When the request for a return is so that you can acquire from them the correct product and the request is made priior to getting home with the mistake, about thirty minutes to an hour from leaving the nursery I find the most interesting thing is that I definitely never mentioned a color because compost doesn't come in colors. The cashier never asked what color because had she; I would have been clued in that there was a mistake being made. Also, whenI asked the guy that was loading the product was asked by me "would this woody stuff grow my tomatoes" his response was that he used it on his.
