Could hardly believe so I went to the register and sales person did a confirmation price check. It is also their online price. No emergency so at that price, I'll wait. I understand the need to support local brick and mortar retail and also am willing to pay a small premium for the convenience of obtaining a needed item "right now". I asked about the controls on the dash and he replied I don't know what they do. He told me that he got the boat from a friend that didn't want to repair it because it needed a new starter. He mentioned that because its necessary to remove the whole engine to reach the starter, that they sold it to him and he had replaced the starter and placed it for sale one his lot. Come to find out two years laster, this is not true. It's actually very simple to replace the stater. I know as I had to remove it myself due to it failing. Either this was a very cheap starter he that completely remove the engine to install, or installed a used starter that has now failed. Not to mention the retread tires on the trailer. Very cheap purchase boats poorly reconditioned and sold overpriced. However he was very friendly and helped register the boat for me when they would not accept it at AAA.
