At nights, you can get some really good, nonmainstream metal, which is something you almost never hear on the radio anywhere you go. Gotta respect a station that does cool stuff like that.

My husband and I sat there listening to the BS that played while we were on the road. We honestly thought at the end of it there would be some serious bashing of some sorts by you guys. But no!! What happened to Caylee Anthony is devastating. I am totally baffled as to why some stupid heartless bastard would make a song about a Childs death. Then, I get my composure after sitting there in complete shock and wonder what kind of Freaking idiots would play that on the radio? Is that how she needs to be remembered? Do you really think a pathetic poorly composed group of words about an innocent child murdered by her mother needs to be aired on the radio? It's not even worthy of being called a "SONG". There is so much more going on in the world. Heck, there is so much more going on in our own community. What was done this morning is done and I won't be listening to your station to see if you play it again. As a mother of 3, I am very disappointed in your station. I hope you dig deep in your heart and realize how senseless that was!

When I lived in Charleston, this was the only station I listened to when waking up in the morning, to later driving to meet with clients on weekdays. Now I have to suffice with my computer since I am now back in Greenville. I don't have a choice in my car, so I'm forced to listen to the local talk radio show in Greenville which totally SUCKS. When tuning in, you begin with Richard Todd's morning show at 6:00, then it's Neal Boortz at 10:00 and the famous Rocky-D and Donna Darlin' Show at 12:00. Shawn Hannity is on at 3:00 followed by Mark Levin at 6:00. If you're a Liberal, I'd say, steer clear if you don't want to hear the truthful hard facts... And, unless you want to be totally abused by Rocky-D or Mark Levin and are a Liberal, call in! They'd love to hear from you and give you some interesting feedback. ;) Vote for Herman Cain in 2012!

I love Garden and Gun Magazine!!!! I assumed it was published out of Birmingham, Alabama's Southern…read moreLiving publisher; however, I was wrong. It's based in Charleston! It "celebrates the modern South and features the best in Southern food, style, travel, music, art, literature, and sporting culture." Its first issue was in 2007, eighteen years ago. The name Garden and Gun is explained as an "inside reference to a popular 1970s Charleston disco called the Garden and Gun Club. It is also explained as a metaphor for the South's land, people, lifestyle, and heritage." Today, both Atlanta and Louisville have Garden and Gun Clubs that are extensions of the Garden and Gun Club brand and are affiliated with the magazine. They also have a podcast about Southern culture, at least four books, a Fieldshop shopping experience, a "G&G Society" and more. Garden and Gun has an elevated look and feel to it! It exemplifies sophistication with its masterful use of white space, iconic rich warm sepia tones, and thoughtful layouts! As a BA graduate in Graphic Design, this magazine really appeals to me! Stories range from "The Secret South" to "The Sporting South." I enjoyed their articles on Birmingham Alabama's Chef Chris Hastings and about other Alabama chefs! Not only is Garden and Gun beautiful to hold and see, the articles are well written, interesting, and very engaging! This comes from a person who does not hunt and loves dogs as much as any other person does, owning one myself. Thank you Allée Group LLC and Rebecca Darwin for providing us with this elevated and lovely lifestyle magazine and other experiences!

The Summerville community is unique and the uniqueness is being erased. This is evident by their recent hire who was charged with engaging the community businesses, which he did. He did everything he was charged to do, including selling over $18,000 in advertising in the 3 weeks he was there with minimal training. But, as he was too focused on the community, he was let go with a reason of "it isn't a good fit". My warning to the Summerville community is beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. If you do nothing, the beloved Historical Summerville will be erased.
