A favorite when in Laramie! The downtown location has true coffee vibe with plenty of seating, background music is just right for conversation, and the coffee is excellent. Friendly service brings the coffee to your table instead of everyone crowding around a counter.

Great coffee! The Peruvian coffee which I ended getting a bag of, had a great smokey taste. Establishment is clean and good service. Worth the stop if needing a coffee fix in Laramie.

You can see the old grinds clumping and creating nasty bitter flavors

The drip coffee was actually great, 4.5 stars for that and a recommended stop for drip coffee. I drink cortados almost every day and it's been my drink of choice for years: I am a home barista as well....The cortado was so terrible that my wife and I both decided it was the single worst cortado we've ever had. Old grinds filled the bottom of the cup: my best theory is that they have not cleaned this espresso machine in way too long. Such a bitter nasty taste to this. Took one sip and tossed it. Avoid espresso drinks hard. The drip coffee is worth getting.

Hot flavored latte, so good! Looked great too! Husband got a cold brew, he said his was good as well.

This place looks like a huge hot spot for the local college as it was busy on a Friday afternoon. The latte that I had was ok for the price. I waiting about 15 minutes for it once I had ordered it as the staff has a few orders ahead of mine. The staff were friendly and told me ahead of time that it would be about ten minutes for my coffee.

Great place to get some coffee and a pastry or a light breakfast. Reasonable prices and a working wifi - there's everything here to relax and maybe even get some work done. The Banana Bread is done just right - not too sweet and not too "bready" - something in between a bread and a cake that is made right. I recommend getting it toasted and add butter (see photo).

Very cute decor. A great place to sit and enjoy a coffee or snack, play games with friends, or study alone!

Called in an order for their breakfast sandwich on house made everything bagel, 16oz dark roast coffee and 16 oz iced green tea. Location. Is near the college campus. They have several seating areas (if you need to study, or meet a group). I even purchased a bag of their French kids dark East coffee. They will grind it to your liking in house. The breakfast sandwich was pretty basic and lacking flavor. Eggs in sandwich tasted like their was corn in it. Not a fan. The coffee and green tea were good.

We stopped here for breakfast sandwiches and were pleasantly surprised! We called ahead to order them and the cafe was very patient in explaining the bagel sandwich options. We opted for a cheddar-green chili bagel breakfast sandwich and a plain bagel breakfast sandwich. The bagels were definitely homemade (or tasted homemade) and tasted delicious. My dad raves about the charade-green chili bagel with the provolone cheese. I would definitely suggest this stop!

Roasted: driving through Laramie WY and found Coal Creek Coffee. It's located in the downtown area. They have decent indoor seating with a little outdoor seating as well. The menu is extensive here with bakery items and food along with the coffee. Clean and simple but doesn't have a homey feel you look for in a coffee shop. Barista was nice and pleasant. Good selection of sugar free flavors and was glad to be able to get our lattes for here. No latte art but latte was quite tasty - perfect sweetness and temperature, espresso was just slightly over extracted but I'd come back for another coffee for sure. Unroasted: coffee shop located in this cute downtown Laramie. The staff was a lil busy and we waited 5min before our order was taken. The decor doesn't make it feel warm. I needs some plants scattered around. The latte price was cheap and the taste was pretty good. I had a slight burnt after taste but it was still drinkable. I would recommend if you in the town.

Drinks, Great. Pastries, Great. But the real winner here is the Pizza. Yup! Pizza from a coffee shop.

I'm traveling through the area and stopped for an iced coffee. Vanilla caramel latte 16 oz and it was EIGHT DOLLARS. I was stunned.

I'm speechless! Never been more pleasantly surprised with a coffee shop! I would say this is one of…read morethe absolute best coffee places I have yet to try. And it is so sad it's so far from home :(. The coffee was sooooooo delicious and had a very good Rich flavor. I wasn't expecting such good coffee while passing through! The Mac and cheese was alsooo soooo good and had so much flavor. I would travel all the way back from Texas just to come back. Not to mention the place was adorable inside and the staff was the sweetest. Definitely make a stop by if you're on the road!

The coffee drinks we ordered were outstanding. My 16 oz Latte was rich and smooth. Delicious . My son's Americano was made with added cream. So refreshing to not be told "the cream is over there you can add it yourself ". We both ordered wraps which were served hot and fresh. There were plenty of tables and we chose one next to the fireplace. The cafe is decorated with care and held so much character. A mix of 80/90s Music was playing in the background. I can see why I saw a few customers making themselves at home with their books and computers. Appeared to be camped out for a while . They had a self service water station with extra napkins and coffee condiments. Newspapers and reading material were in an old fashion holder near the fireplace. This is the perfect place to decompress and relax. We met a doggy too Owners told us their dog walks them there every day to get his treat. This pup was just beaming. Water dish out front for their 4 legged friends. Noticed several customers picking up to go orders so if you're on the run you can order in advance. Hope to return again I pretty much know my son will be going back often. Highly recommend.
