I even made it out to Joshua Tree National Park, and the drive from the resort was super smooth. The resort has plenty of space, good energy, and the overall environment feels safe and relaxed. Staff was decent and check‑in was easy. That said, the toilets definitely need a deep cleaning. Not terrible, but not up to the standard the rest of the park sets. If they improved that, it would elevate the whole experience.

The resort is only about 15 min by car to the grounds, if I had known that maybe I would try to make other arrangements.

Also, we felt safe walking our dog at night with lights and security. Very clean restrooms and facilities spread out throughout the property. Unfortunately, we arrived at night both times so we did not have time to try all of the amenities but the pool area and gym looked great. After hours check in was easy, and communication from staff was very helpful. The dog park was great, our yellow lab enjoyed running free in the morning! Overall, we'd definitely come back!

The resort is beautiful with lots of great amenities such as a their 18- hole putting course, 2 heated pools and hot tubs, pickleball courts, billiards, a clubhouse and bar, fishing ponds, golf cart rentals, and so much more. The sites are large but unfortunately graveled. With a resort this nice, concrete pads would have been a better choice. The resort is quite large and it could be a bit of a walk depending on your site location so I'd recommend bringing bikes unless you would prefer to rent a golf cart. They have a nice walking path on the property and dog parks and stops for your fury friends along the way. Overall it was a great stay filled with lots of fun memories and beautiful sunsets. So much that our members can't wait to come back next year. Highly recommend this resort.

Copper wire thieves stripped the RV hook ups, and the state gated the campsite, even though us tent campers don't need hook ups. Mecca campground, one mile south, is also closed. Its plumbing has been broke for years. Unfortunately fixing this gem of a state park is probably not a high priority for Sacramento. Still, visit it & do the best you can. The pool is nice however they don't tell you anywhere on the map that their showers are locked…read moreafter 10 PM. I've never been to an RV park where you don't have access a shower on site. Should anything happen to your RV like ours did and needed to be serviced and we did not have to have access to our RV shower. The groundskeeper said he even looked at the map and agreed that it was listed nowhere on the e map that the showers close at 10 PM all that it says is the fitness center closes at 10, but that's not the same as a shower. I was not going to work out. I was going to shower. The two showers are located attached to the pool and I get that they want to close the pool off past 10 PM, but maybe they should build a separate shower for patrons separate from the pools so that if they need access and take showers after 10 o'clock that we have the option too. Also, there's no air conditioning in the bathrooms by the tennis courts. That was the only bathroom that's open 24 hours without a shower. There are bugs all over in the sink and the bathroom was 112° inside (at 10:30 at night) They should probably walk around the property as the ceilings are falling apart hopefully there's no mold in here that we are breathing. This is in the state of the Art workout facility with the ceiling about two pieces fall down. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because the pool was nice that's it. However, the pool was closed due to pool cleaning on our first night here.

Not only were there nice bathrooms and showers, but the staff also set up power stations where campers could charge phones or plug in hair tools (a plus for the girls). The site also had a pool, pond, live bands and a bar that served food, so there was plenty to do during the day if you wanted to hang out before heading to the festival. The staff was amazing, very helpful, and really cared about the campers. Goody bags were provided at check in. The staff was willing to help with tent set up, and even took care of tents when it got windy while people were at the festival, much appreciated! Security/staff was always around if you had any questions or needed help. The location was also a bonus, it is out of the way of the festival commotion, so it was nice and quiet. The shuttle provided made it easy to get back and forth to the festival, and is ready whenever you are. Overall, the environment was just awesome, laid back but fun. I cannot say enough positive stuff about Base Camp, I would recommend it to anyone!

Basecamp is intended to be a fun area to hang out at and camp on with your friends while having a…read morelively experience at Coachella. So far, I have found this experience to be horrid. The camping itself is not horrid in any aspect- it is mainly the promises that it fails to keep. A friend and I recently camped here for Coachella weekend two and spent $75 each on air balloon rides- they ended up being cancelled. That was upsetting but understandable considering the winds were said to be strong. There were said to be four to five shuttles to transport people to and back from Coachella. An employee even said to us as we parked, "don't worry it's so friendly here you can even get the driver's number and text him when you're ready to go" Turns out there are only three shuttles- no one is allowed to have the drivers phone number for some reason. The shuttles arrive every hour with poor time leaving 30-40 people waiting for shuttles for over an hour on both day 1 and day 2 of Coachella. If not longer- we ended up taking a private bus back because our experience was so bad. Considering we paid $75 each for shuttle passes it's ultimately upsetting and irritating. Basecamp was intended to be a fun place to stay and hangout and with a pool and bars it seems like it- but they are also lacking in Amenaties- with only 3-4 small lounge areas there really is no place to hangout during the hot days. The bathrooms are also lacking in the upkeep. This picture is from one of the women's bathrooms- which started to leak and continues to 24 hours later.

The RV park has some sites with grass and others are gravel. We were on a gravel site which wasn't that bad. Sites are decent sized, but ours didn't have much shade. Their pools are in a beautifully landscaped area with a decent sized Jacuzzi. They also have 2 firepit areas which are very nice to sit around at night. They went above and beyond to make us concert goers feel welcomed. They brought in extra shower & bathroom facilities which were very nice to use. They supplied a wonderful continental breakfast. They had a food vendor on site to cook you up a yummy $4.00 breakfast burrito and some yummy $2.00 tacos when you returned late at night after the concert. They hosted a pool party for 4 days. They were very friendly and helpful every step of the way. IW, you do it right. They aren't all about the "don't do this and don't do that", however, they embrace the fun crowd and promote a fun, safe environment. Thank you again IW for a great experience. We booked for next year before we left to come home. So we're looking forward to another Stagecoach weekend with you. We also plan on bringing our families back for a family trip very soon.

No cable. We had to go to Spectrum and sign up for monthly service to get internet. No activities whatsoever. Cool campground located within beautiful Hidden Valley in Joshua Tree National Park. This are was…read moreone of my favorite places to explore while I was here in the park. There are 44 sites with pit toilets, fire pits, but no water. The sites are are first-come, first-served and require pre-payment at an entrance station. The area is surround by large boulders and Joshua Trees. Just remember that it is prohibited to tie a hammock to any of the trees here. Definitely make some time to walk the Hidden Valley nature trail while you are here. There are picnic tables near the trailhead that you can eat at.

We came during sunset time and it was breathtaking. There's an awesome amount of rocks, joshua trees, beautiful views, and you can lay to see the stars. I will definitely be back!
