I really just ducked into this spot to get some relief from the Puerto Rican humidity, but the service and selection was so good I found myself at the register thinking how I could justify these purchases. Best part is I didn't have to lug around my purchases in the humidity of San Juan. They handled the shipping straight to my door and it's a flat rate of 10bucks if you get 1 or more items! No high pressure sales and the staff was so helpful I almost dropped 3 Benjamins on a bomber jacket. Walked about feeling good about my purchases. Definitely stop in here if you're buying high end. read more

I have been a coach lover clientele for many years now and I had never felt so powerless in my life. I was given a gift card for Christmas and as I visit Puerto Rico very often, I decided to go to the CHOACH OUTLET located in OLD SAN JUAN. When I went to pay, they told me they were having problems with the system reading the gift card, and that there was nothing they could do to help me. I think it is incredible that no solution was given to me!!! Just a simple we are sorry!!! And I left the store empty-handed!! A GIFT CARD IS A MONEY THAT IS ALREADY GIVEN TO YOUR COMPANY!!! IT IS MY MONEY!!! I am appalled with the treatment that I was given, the hesitation, and the lack of a solution. read more

I totally agree with the other review here noting this store / outlet is so much better than the other one I've been to in the States, whose prices I thought to myself, "...? This is an outlet?!" Granted, I'm not a giant Coach fan! But, the husband almost forced me to buy a couple things here, and since then, I've grown to love them, and really am dying to return to this place to stock up for, like, a lifetime supply of these two items (a big satchel at a bargain under a "hundo" (if naming prices is forbidden here?) and a rain jacket, whose loveliness I hadn't before appreciated, and even that one was pretty expensive, several hundos, so I fear its retail price! Lovely store though, as another review also said, cute and unusual items here, and awesome prices! read more

i love this store! i was actually hoping to pick up a few birthday gifts for myself at the st maarten store only to find out that this location had actually closed 2 yrs ago - so i had to wait Puerto Rico. Even thou i do know that this local in PR has the same prices as the stores here at home (and you also have to pay taxes there) i find that it has more variety of merchandise (even being smaller than our local store here) and better discounts. example - got a very nice med size leather purse, matching leather wallet and sunglasses for A- t GREAT PRICE! hey even offered coupons of 20% off! i had not seen this particular leather purse at our stores here. so i splurged a bit!!!! it is very nice!!! also the service was amazing super nice people very helpful and friendly. cant wait to go back!!! of course only to window shop (that's what i told hubby anyways!!) read more

Im not a huge coach or brand name fan, but the two times ive been here, most people in our party have gotten something from here! They have a nice selection and items we dont see in the states at very good prices (even compared to outlets) so how can you resist? This weekend was 50% off the lowest ticketed price including clearance items. Staff is very nice and welcoming and the store is nice and organized. Must stop in Old San Juan! read more

Went batsh** crazy at all the cute stuff in this outlet and still I regret not picking up a couple more bags...even after 2 visits to the store. The workers here are friendly, polished and will even help calculate final prices if you're overwhelmed by the sales and price tags. Girl at the cashier reminded me of the actress Audrey Tatou and the fact that she remembered me says 2 things: 1) I can girl crush on her. 2) I'm a repeat offender/shopper and that might not be a good thing. Also, as another reviewer stated, the bags here are not of the same quality as regular coach stores but I guess the difference shows if you put your things through a good beating. read more

Fantastic outlet. Got some great deals, 20 bucks for a clutch, basically I bought all the girls Christmas gifts (shhhhhh don't tell anyone how much I paid) Only thing is they close at 7pm on the dime. .don't be late you won't get in, thats my only recommendation. read more

Not to be missed if you're a Coach fan. This is one of the best Coach outlet stores I've ever been to, with a phenomenal selection of merchandise and great prices. The majority of the bags are under $200 and they have a fair amount of stuff in the $100 range. We also got a coupon for 30% off the total purchase, which was awesome (I have no idea when or why they give those coupons but my theory is it is tied into the cruises - we went on a Sunday, the day the majority of the cruises are in port). If you're planning on buying gifts, they do limit each person to 5 logo items & 10 items total. read more

They sure do pack a lot of merchandise into this little three level store. If you come on a busy day its virtually impossible to move around in here. Like all the other outlets they always pass out an additional 30% off coupon to entice to you pull the trigger to buy. It worked because my wife ended up buying something. read more

Nice selection of leather goods and some clothing and sunglasses. The staff is friendly, helpful and not overbearing. The prices are reduced and most of the time, they hand out 50% off coupons, so you can't really go wrong. I'll be back again. read more

I found the selection to be excellent, the prices surprisingly low and I took advantage as well as I could. My girlfriend found it very hard to leave the store which is on many levels. As we left, or tried to, we kept finding more bargains and lingering to look at more beautiful things. The selection was very broad, from clothing to bags to jewelry to leather-goods. Although I'm not a routine Coach shopper, I appreciate the quality level of their goods. Much better prices than I see in Canada. read more

The supercenter was very large and had most items for everyday living, at prices that I'm assuming locals find acceptable. It is two stories, with a multi-level parking garage below. The first floor is mainly the grocery store portion, with the upper floor being the typical 'Walmart' discount department retailer items, connected by a cool moving ramp (travelators) that allows carts to be brought along as well. Later learned that the wheels are locked not by magnets, but by a mechanical system where tiny grooves in the wheels interlock with the moving meta track, to make the cart immobile while on the track. I tried it out and it definitely worked as advertised. The location required a car to get there from the cruise ports, thus were not really used by many tourists/visitors when we got there. They did have a small tourist/souvenir section upstairs, but there was nothing that our group wanted, and prices seemed similar to the many shops in the tourist section of Old San Juan. We did buy a small bottle of locally produced vanilla, and did find that the games section had Pokemon cards for sales, that we took advantage of. Payment was through a self-checkout area, and my Walmart+ membership was recognized via my entered phone number, delivering the receipt via email. There are 13 Walmart supercenters in Puerto Rico, with this 150,000 square feet one opening in 2013. Our private tour guide did mention that we were the first group of hers that specifically asked to stop by a Walmart. I joked that maybe on our next visit, she could take us to a Costco nearby on the island.

I can see why - the fabrics for all apparel and bed linens are made from bamboo viscose, rayon from bamboo, polyester from bamboo, and bamboo charcoal. It's a proprietary bamboo blend textile that is so soft to the touch, smooth, and keeps you cool (which is great in the Caribbean heat). It's also sustainable design. I went to a Cariloha store for the first time in Old San Juan. I didn't plan on it, but my husband and I stumbled upon the store on Calle Fortaleza. It's a small, boutique size shop. Merchandise was well displayed and orderly. Apparel is everywhere, but linens and other products are on shelves on the right wall. The staff inside the store were super friendly. One guy - I think his name was Haviah - was nice and offered to keep our selections at the register counter while we kept looking around the store. Again, they were so friendly and provided great customer service. Price wise, it's more than your usual cotton material clothing, but the product quality and unique qualities of the bamboo blend textiles warrant it. Also, we didn't spend as much because men's shirts were 50% off, which was about $40 each (a little under the price of the same type of short sleeve, button-down at, say, a Marshall's or Kohl's). If you are traveling to the Caribbean, it may be worth picking up a shirt or something from Cariloha as a memento or something to remind you of your trip.

I'm happy to pay the bags that are 5x more expensive if they really are hand made in Puerto Rico but not sure why I'm paying that much if they're designing it and having it made else where?
