Came in looking for a few bags to take home as Mother's Day gifts, and Fei absolutely blew me away with her exceptional customer service. I've been to many Coach locations across North America, but this was hands-down the best experience I've had. Fei was incredibly attentive and helpful. One of the bags I chose was the last one available company-wide, and she made sure I inspected it thoroughly just in case there were any defects (thankfully, there weren't!). For another bag, she went above and beyond by offering a brand-new one from the back since the floor model had a small imperfection. When I mentioned I couldn't take gift boxes due to luggage space, Fei kindly provided me with folded boxes and gift wrap so I could still present everything beautifully when I got home. The customer service at this outlet is outstanding. I had been searching for a specific purse for a while and each store I contacted (both here and in the US) advised me that they didn't have it showing in their system, nor could they find it at any other location. As a last ditch effort, I called this location and much to my disappointment, I received the same response. It was not the answer I wanted to hear as much as it was not the answer she wanted to give so she asked me to hold while she took a physical look around the store and in the back. Tada! She found my purse!!! I'm still not sure why it wasn't showing in their inventory but I was thankful that she took the effort to actually look for it. It was late on a Wednesday night and I knew I wouldn't be able to go to Niagara Falls until the weekend so I asked if she could hold it for me. From what I understand, they typically only hold an item for 48 hours but she extended that for me to ensure the purse would be held until the following Monday, giving me plenty of time to make the trek out to the Falls. We left after work on Friday and two hours later, I had my purse. :)))) The store itself is nicely laid out and, at 6pm on a Friday, was busy, but not overly crowded. Yes it's crowded, Yes it's a long line up (but moves quickly), but this is the best and only place close to Toronto you can get Coach bags for 1/4 of the price! Most of the bags, gloves, scarves etc. are marked down to about 50% but then they consistently have additional sales everyweek (check smartcanucks.ca or sign up for their mailing list http://factoryoffer.coach.com/) that take another 20-30% off the whole purchase. Last time I was there, they were handing out the extra coupons at the door, while I printed one. The selection was surprisingly amazing. I went in Feb, and the bag that I wanted from the summer (retail ~$400) was already on sale there for about $120. They also have a good choice in wristlets, shoes, scarves and gloves (retail $200, bought for $60). Although crowded, this is why there is a line up, so they regulate it somewhat. Me and my husband drove over there during the Canada Day long weekend just to see the place. I don't have anything particular in mind to buy but when I went to browse in and saw the bags WOW!!! I did not leave empty handed and I will definitely go back again. I Love my purse, thanks to my husband, thank you COACH and to the outstanding customer service.. Ok, so yes, I've purchased a coach handbag before. I am still using it and find it very durable after two years. It will probably outlive me! Now, I decided to check in with the last big sale. I am a young/ senior, so I guess I don't understand the big hype. I did find a little handbag for evening use which I'm still thinking about. I liked it, but not enough to pay the $179.00 very, very special reduced price. Come on! You can't convince me that the price is fantastic. Your competitor across the parking lot has fabulous handbags and the prices are much lower. They make great products as well. I have purchased many wallets and handbags from them in the past. My issue is - why can't the prices be dropped - never mind these mind boggling sales that require you to line up outside the door for 45 min. (which is what I stupidly did) not knowing that it moves slowly. Is it all a form of hysteria with the young girls thinking it's totally amazing to get a coach handbag?? I am giving you a good rating for quality of merchandise and service, but the cost, is not appealing. I think the young girls have to work a few days in order to be able to buy a handbag to put their empty wallets in! read more
