It is a family run place so you shop in a friendly atmosphere with help allways on hand.There is a good choice of food and other stuff . the kind of thing you suddenly think of and want to pop out for. They have sandwiches and also newspapers so you can pop round for your lunch and put your feet up to read the paper having been servsd with them in a nice place.It's not far from chidrens play area so is handy for Mums too.

The fresh fruit/veg selection is so paltry I'm not sure why they bother. The post office doesn't open very long hours unfortunately and the staff are not overly friendly. You can queue for a long time while the staff just seem to mill around without doing much! The spar staff are mostly very friendly and helpful, it would be nice if they stopped smoking outside the main enterance - it's not pleasant having to walk through their smoke pretty much every time you walk through the enterance. The products are either very cheap or very expensive!! It's not somwhere you would want to be doing your main shopping.
