Co-Op is all over the place, but might not compete as well as Tesco and ASDA (ASDA is owned by Wal-Mart). However, they have a great selection of food, great brand-name soups (ask my dad who loves their Scoth Broth, I brought two cans back with me and he loved them just as much as when he was there), and Co-Op salads are delicious. The cheese selections, crisps, dairy, and prepared foods are vastly superior to Marks and Spencer. The $2 Lasagna is fabulous. Co-Op salad dressings are first-rate. The quality and freshness of its food is the best I came across (compared to ASDA, Tesco and Marks and Spencer). A great find in Ballyholme with great service, food, and a wonderful sense of community. Well done! read more
