5 years ago they came out to level my house and part of the sale was lifetime warranty. At the time I was told all was good under the house. Now the same area is not level and I'm being told it's another beam. So what does the "all good" mean and why doesn't the warranty cover the areas initially addressed. $6000 quote to fix what? I don't know about the quality of your company but, When you have someone driving a vehicle that has your company's name on it recklessly, that perception is what your potential customer's see. That being said: At approx. 3:30pm, 5/19/23. I was on my motorcyle(large cruiser) in the far left lane on I26 going west right outside of downtown. I usually like to keep 2-3 car lengths between myself and the vehicle ahead of me. There was 1 vehicle in the lane to my right that was about 1 car length ahead of me. Your #4 van, License plate # QKD-694. came from the far right lane, and behind us,with zero signaling, and forced his way into my lane ahead of me, leaving about 5ft of space between myself and him. I was going around 60 with the flow of that lane and was forced to brake hard. He then proceeded to do the same to the vehicle in the lane to the right of us, speed up and then force his way back into the right lane a few vehicles up. Not only is this extremely dangerous, and aggressive behavior when driving. It's 100% unnecessary. I didn't know of your company's existence at all until today and might never need your services but I garentee you that if I ever do, or friends mention you. It'll ne a hard no from me. read more

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)! If you are considering engaging with this company; especially for poly leveling/poly jacking work. DO NOT sign their contract. It is completely slanted in their favor and absolutely guarantees nothing (lift is not guaranteed). I paid $3500 to have a section of driveway leveled and when they were finished, the slabs were still not level. When I asked to negotiate payment, they quickly reminded me their contract (which I stupidly signed) does not guarantee lift. As such, their remedy is to grind and smooth the uneven edges. You can do that work yourself with an angle grinder and diamond wheel while saving $3500 or hire grinding for a fraction of that price. Moreover, grinding that much concrete exposes the aggregate which looks terrible in my opinion. If you dare do business with this company be sure to cross out sections of the contract that do not guarantee results and add your own clauses to protect your interests, e.g. if lift is not achieved within ±XYZ" tolerance, payment will not be made for that portion or a reduced payment will be rendered etc. read more

I won't go into details just know that we have just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have hired another company to repair their work. Only needed piers but it was a wonderful solution to sinking floors. The techs who came to do the work were very helpful and explained the steps they were taking. Every interaction with CNT Foundations was honest, professional, and informative. The estimator came out, did his measurements, and advised only one pier needed to be put in to ease the sinking of the foundation on one side of the house. Craig and Fillippe (sp?) came out to do the work. They called to advise when they were on their way and they were ON TIME (which is rare with any contractors in this area!) They worked hard for 2 hours, patiently and politely answering questions about their progress and exactly what they were doing. They cleaned up completely and took their machinery and all their tools. (We've had contractors leave tools behind on at least 3 occasions!) I wish I did not have to add a star as I would not even give them a 1 star. I am not confident in their ability to be honest and fix a problem. We have dealt with an issue for 2 years and we continue to get the run around. We have heard lie after lie, I just want my house fixed. After trying to have a conversation today with their Operations Manager he hung up on me. He hung up because I told him I would not allow him to speak to me in the manner he was displaying. He insulting me after I told him my expectations, he said in my infinite world things do not work this way. Who speaks to a customer this way or insults them? CNT was contracted to install additional support under a heavy load bearing kitchen wall. Three of the five piers were placed in the wrong location as per our agreement with the salesman per his drawing. Now CNT is refusing to correct their error. Per one of our phone conversations they went as far as to say that thay had spoken to my wife and convinced her that everything was fine, this is not true. No one from CNT has contacted my wife. A CNT representative was bold enough to say that no one reads reviews so post whatever, wow!!! Ok next is a formal complaint with SCBBB and to the SCLLR. Recently hired CNT to repair two cracks in my foundation. I was at work while the repairs were being completed and received a call when the work was complete to let me know "everything went well". When I returned home, the smaller/minor crack was repaired but the larger one (which was resulting in damage to the house and the reason for my getting the repairs) was not repaired and looked exactly the same. I called the next morning to ask what happened and the Project manager simply said "they couldn't move it". We contracted with CNT for projects on two different homes. A few years earlier, they assessed and repaired a serious settling problem,that was created by a crawlspace specialist who had conditioned our crawlspace a little over a year previously. Working with them then was refreshing, as they showed up for the evaluation and completed the work when they said they would. Watching them perform the work, it was obvious that they were being extremely careful and meticulous in the carrying out of each task. When we bought another home to remodel, we contracted with them and they installed several piers to correct foundation problems that were discovered. When the remodel was completed, they conditioned our crawlspace and installed a dehumidifier with a 5 year limited warranty. Shortly before the expiration of the limited warranty, the unit appeared to be malfunctioning. Mr.Bedson, the owner of CNT personally came to assess the problem and informed us that CNT would replace the unit at no cost to us and scheduled an appointment with one of his specialists. The specialists arrived when he told us he would, and changed out the units and stated that CNT stood behind it's products and services and we were not charged, even though the manufacturer warranty would not have covered the full cost of a replacement. A followup call from the company owner to check on the status of the new unit by followed and he confirmed that his company stood behind their services and there would be no charges. While it is a large company with many projects, they took the time to ensure that things were done correctly and followed up to honor their verbal commitments to us. A guy came buy, looked at the floor for about 5-10 minutes and said nothing is wrong. After writing them a good review because the owner asked me to, I wrote an email saying for them to please fix the damage and mess that they made to the property and neighborhood. They still have yet to fix it and now because of it, the part they did not fix a month later, is rotted out. Beware!!!! Horrible company! We bought a house where the previous owner used CNT to do some joist repair before selling. ($19,000 of work). Guarantee warranty by CNT is transferable for the future owner so we were feeling comfortable with that. 1 week after moving in the house, I inspected the crawlspace to realized that everything they claimed to have done was not done properly. I had another foundation specialist in the crawlspace for inspection, and everything I found wrong was confirmed, and more! ( sistered joist without any nails between the old and new ones sistered joist with new joist cut in the middle, new peer with concrete blocks not glued together with mortar....) When we called to transfer the guarantee, they told us on the phone we were all set, no problem. So 2 days later we called them to open a guarantee claim for the poor job done. I spoke to the owner and he said he needed to see pictures before he could come out and see what was wrong. We quickly sent plenty of pictures showing clearly everything that was not done correctly. Once he received the pictures he would not return our calls or reach out to us again. when I finally got ahold of someone working in the office she said that she was not able to send the transfer in writing. Since we didn't have a written proof, they will not transfer it to our name so we cannot do anything. She even said that their lawyer told her not to give us anything in writing or to give us any further information. After that, they never answered our phone calls again or would respond to our emails. we did try to reach out to the better business bureau. They informed us that without the transferred warrenty we were not considered their customer. We finally forgot about them ($19,000 bill) and found someone else. We feel betrayed by really poor work done and everything had to be redone correctly which cost a lot of money and time. I am highly not recommending them, specially avoid Travis (owner/manager)who is everything but honest. read more

If I could select fewer stars I would. The owner of this company is absolutely terrible. The foundation was partially repaired and the mess they left behind was unbelievable. When my husband and I called we could never reach anyone to help us and no one would call us back. Even the girls who answered the phones and took the messages seemed embarrassed that their boss was so unprofessional. Our yard was covered in sand and our stone patio was removed and never replaced. This is a HUGE job that costs over $800 to do properly! After 6 or 7 phone calls and months later, we finally reached Travis. This is the same guy who called us every single day to procure our business before we signed the contract with them. Not only did he not apologize for the difficulty in getting in touch with him, he made it seem like it was a burden for him to have to speak to me. He was condescending, arrogant, dishonest and rude and actually threatened a lawsuit if I posted a negative review. I admit, by this point, I was quite angry about the situation and the time and money I had spent because of them and their lack of professionalism. His demeanor on the phone just made me more irritated. He claimed that the contract covered the items mentioned and they were not responsible. I assure you there was no clear mention of needing to have masonry specialists come to fix what they screwed up in our contract. If anything, this contract is not forthright about additional costs due to damages which is bad business practice and unethical. When you're spending $12,000 to fix a foundation, an extra $1,000 is not a pleasant surprise. NEVER, NEVER USE CNT! read more

Mike took time to explain what they were looking for; cracks in stucco, moisture under house, tree root damage and even came in the house to do level measurements to check for unusual house settlement. We called CNT Foundations out when a home inspector, for the sale of our home, stated that there was "massive indication of moisture" present in the crawl space. Victor came out on April 12th and inspected our crawl space. He stated that he does not see the indication noted on the home inspectors report. I have an older house that was completely remodeled in 2011. The problem was that in two of the rooms the floors were sagging. CNT sent a person out to evaluate the problem and give a quote. That went fine and a quote was given with their assurance that they could cure the problem. The quote was for $8970.00. I hired them to do the repair. A few week later CNT came to my house and proceeded with the repair. Three days later the job was completed and the results were satisfactory, but not totally fixed. The problem is they had parked an old diesel powered van in my new concrete driveway. The van had a bad oil leak and left very large black oil spots on the driveway that I can't get up. I contacted CNT and they told that it was not their responsibility, but the would take care of cleaning the driveway anyhow. It has now been five weeks now and nothing has been done and I have not heard from CNT. I contacted a professional cleaning service and they gave a quote of $500.00 to do the clean up. If you do hire then, you should watch the very closely and check every detail before paying them. read more
