Office staff was polite and professional. The doctor showed up after a short wait and took the time to look over my history and asked about any changes. They looked into a couple of things I mentioned and shared some advice on managing day to day symptoms. I appreciated how they didn't make me feel rushed or ignored. It was a calm setting and everything seemed clean and in order. Not bad at all. read more

I started seeing Dr. Chaunce Phoenyx at CMC Chiropractic in the middle of February 2025 for my pinched nerve and pain in my left arm. I had too much pain from the shoulder down to hand and fingers that I could only use my right arm and hand for everything. Dr. Chaunce Phoenyx is amazing, experienced and knowledgeable. After the first few visits, I started feeling better. My last visit was Monday, 03/24/25, and the pain was completely gone. I'm now able to use my left arm and hand as normal. I highly recommend Dr. Chaunce Phoenyx at CMC Chiropractic. read more

My second time visiting this place. Saw Dr. Whitehead for my VA exams. I am very satisfied with the performance of the admin staff. There was no wait time when arriving at my appointment. The office is very clean with a cool fountain in the waiting room. Dr. Whitehead is very detailed and oriented. She went straight to the point about the histories of my injuries. Im overall satisfied with the services provided and Dr. Whitehead definitely cares about Veterans. If I lived closed I would definitely try out Chiropractic services here. read more

I went to Dr. Chaunce to gain some perspective around a slew of medical tests I'd taken. She helped me see the ways in which nutrition could feed and support my system and balance my health in a holistic way. With her support and guidance I began to gently examine and implement healthier habits and see the results in how I felt and how I looked. I'd recommend Dr. Chaunce to people who want to feel truly seen and heard and honored around taking responsibility for their health and wellness. read more

Dr. Chaunce is the sweetest and most knowledgable chiropractor I've been to. She combines the physical science of chiropractic with the holistic side of healing. She takes the time to know how my life is going and gives advice and suggestions on how to improve my health overall. She has a lot of advice about nutrition and supplements and really gets into the deep cracks of my spine. read more

I had migraines and sensitivity to light that resulted in nausea and dizziness. I came to see Dr Chaunce Phoenix was attentive and listened to my concerns and provided treatment accordingly instead of going down a checklist of items to perform. After the first treatment I could tell a drastic difference in how I was feeling, mi migraines were not as intense and my sensitivity to light was decreasing. After the third treatment my migraines were less and the light sensitivity gone. I also liked that there was explanation given as to why the treatment path was chosen and the cause of the issues I was experiencing. The staff was very nice and welcoming as well. read more

I've seen Dr. Chaunce only a few times but I'm already very impressed. He was recommended to me by my own chiropractor (who is also awesome) after a car accident for personal injury. He is very knowledgeable, patient, funny, and kind! X-rays were taken to see where my mis-alignments are (if you don't measure, you are guessing!) He explained the x-ray results and made sure I understood and answered my questions patiently. He does not rush through the appointment. During adjustments, he tells you which disc/location he is adjusting so I can see how I feel afterwards. He also provide electrical stimulation treatments for the muscles, which is great! I'm a fitness instructor/ personal trainer so I'm constantly moving and was very worried about the effects the accident has on my body and my trainings. Dr. Chaunce eased my fear and informed that we can monitor my progress through my exercises. If you are looking for a chiropractor doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Chaunce. read more

Me and my son had car accident weeks ago. I found out Dr Phoenix( Dr Chaunce) from the yelp reviews and google reviews. And I'm so thankful of meeting her, she's very professional and clear of what went wrong and what needs to be adjusted on us. We are currently under her care. Her staff Jessica, Nhi, Jenni are at their best taking care of me and son. I highly recommend Dr Phoenix to anyone who's looking for a Chiropractor. read more

Wonderful experience! I am telling everyone about Dr. Chaunce. She is amazing. Her staff gets to know you by name and treats you like your family. If you need help call her. read more

Dr. Chaunce finds out the status of current issues each time I visit, and addresses them. He explains what other symptoms may be occurring so that I can draw my own conclusions later on as to whether or not each specific adjustment was helpful so that I can give feedback the next time I come in. 5 stars! I've referred multiple friends to come in, and I've gotten positive feedback from all of them, that Dr. Chaunce helped them to be more functional, starting with their very first appointment. I personally like the long-lasting bodily changes and no hard sell. Thanks Dr. Chaunce and Victoria! By appointment is preferred, but if you don't mind waiting, one probably could walk in... I prefer to call first so that they are prepared. read more

Scheduling: This was extremely easy and pleasant. I called and inquired if they take Kaiser and the receptionist said that they do! Scheduling with the receptionist was super straight-forward and she was very clear and concise about scheduling me to give me enough time as a new patient (1 hour) and to make sure I wasn't running into anyone's treatment. She took my Kaiser member ID and name so that they could be ready with the copay and benefits. Location: I scheduled myself at 4:15pm and at 4:17pm, someone called from their office to see where I was in case I was having trouble finding the place... I had said that I was on my way and it was no problem, but I arrived a little late bc Waze took me to the other side of the plaza where there were other businesses which is facing the DMV. It is in the kitty-corner/caddy-corner of Costco on the opposite side... There will be a sign that says 2114 Office that is connected to the side facing the DMV but it's on the opposite side of that plaza. Walking in: Even though I was late about 10 minutes, I was still greeted happily by 4 chiropractic assistants! It didn't seem fake either... they all seemed like they were genuinely happy that I had made it. The office is very practical... not very modern... but not old... they even had cuties/halo oranges for their waiting room! The receptionist took my ID, Kaiser card, and FSA card and obtained my copay while I filled out the new patient intake form... The new patient intake form is very hefty... but they will literally read everything you put on there bc they are super thorough and for good reason! My copay was $15 and it included an x-ray of a single region, the adjustment, and the office visit. Going back: When I was able to go back into the exam rooms, the chiro assistant checked my vital signs such as weight, BP and pulse. She also loaded my complaints, levels of pain, and other notes into the system and she seemed very knowledgeable of chiropractic and healthcare in general. Dr. Chaunce: He is so incredibly knowledgeable... he explains how each section of your back is connected to a certain body function and will illustrate what he thinks is happening in easy to understand analogies. When he spoke to me, I felt like I understood everything he was saying. He genuinely cares for you to get better and his reasoning and methods make perfect sense. He gives you ample time to ask questions and to adjust... I never felt rushed. The adjustment: He does diagnostic tests on you which I like bc he gets a baseline of where you are and where you need to be. He measured my leg length, my flexibility range, and posture. Then he took x-rays! This is great bc only 1 of 4 of my past chiros took x-rays and I think that is the only way to find the root of the problem. The x-rays are yours to keep if you choose to btw! He will explain the x-rays on the next visit. When he brought me back to do the actual adjustment... you could tell that when he was palpating my SI joints, back and neck that he knew exactly was he was looking for. Whenever he felt a spot that he thought would be tender... it was tender to me... so he knew exactly the correct areas to adjust. He adjusted my lower back in the side position, then my ribs, middle back, and shoulder... Also, while he adjusted me, he would report what he was adjusting and his assistant would notate it in the system... so he would say, "I'm adjusting her iliac now... I'm adjusting her SI joint now..." etc etc... When he adjusted my NECK though... omg... he felt the tender spot and when he made the specific adjustment to that cervical vertebrae... ooooh my god... I felt so many bones go into place and it was so audible! I have had neck adjustments before, but they have never been so specific. It feels great. He also did a little version of Active Release Therapy on my R forearm for my tendonitis which was pretty cool bc usually I would be charged like.. $50 extra at any other clinic... Overall... I am sold... I have my first follow up on Friday and I'm super excited to go back. I even made an appointment for my boyfriend to go too! read more

Dr. Chauncy is amazing. Came in for a back issue and it's gone!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Recently, my neck and back had some pressure and needed relief badly. A few days back had stopped by another Chiropractic Office and the front office was so rude. I had to walk out. It was obvious they didn't want new customers. I found Dr Chaunce and called for more info. The front office was so nice and answered all of my questions. I asked for a same day appointment. Even though they were busy. They made time for me...as any good business one depends on the front office. The Doctors front office was what made me give them a try. Dr Chaunce was thorough and explained the causes of my pain. Even though I'm big guy. She adjusted me perfectly and now I feel good again. No more pain. Will go back and will recommend to friends and family. read more

Best chiropractor ever! I've been going to him for several years, and I love it! I had a ankle sprain that was really bad, he helped me heal my ankle and even educated me how my bones work. Hes nice, young, friendly, and his prices for his services are real fare also. Not to expensive. The number one thing is that he spends a lot of time with you and listens. NOT EVERY DOCTOR DOES THAT! I referred my mom, gf, brother, and many friends to him already and everyone loves him. Go check him out, my goal is to see him once a month from now on for adjustments. read more

So many good things to say... where shall I start?! 1. The staff is awesome and friendly! They make you feel very welcome, can tell that they love thier job and are on point with customer service from start to finish. When I was working on my laptop, they brought a folding table into the room so that I could work more ergonomic while waiting for my appointment (I was early). 2. Dr. Chaunce does wonders! He is very professional and a great educator. When he is adjusting, he explains what he is doing and what it connects to. This is great because it helps me be more aware of what is happening with my body and what I can work on. 3. Also, he is not pushy about selling anything and only gives you the infomation for you to make an educated decision about your health. He is all about givng care and making sure his patients are well-informed. 4. Dr. Chaunce also adjusted my TMJ, which I didn't know you could adjust. I have a very minor case but it was super to know that this could be alleviated. Overall, I'm going to be coming back since Dr. Chaunce made me excited about taking care of myself again. Yay for journey to be healthy! read more

Great office! Highly recommend! Thank you Dr. Chaunce and staffs for chiropractic care.

I've spent a little more than a month at Dr. Chaunce's office recovering from a car accident. I stumbled upon this place from a word of mouth and the services was as good as the advertisement. All the staffs at CMC from Victoria, Danielle, Lindsay, to George treated me sincerely and with care. They always made sure that I was comfortable from my first visit to my last. Getting treated from a doctor is one thing but most of the time, it's the staffs who spend more time with the patients. This is not to discount Dr. Chaunce's work. He's a fabulous doctor with vast knowledge. He listened, responded, and performed base on my feedback. He's not one of those doctors where you told him you have symptom A and he prescribed you medicine B. If he did, he'll explain to you why it was the case. I like the fact that he showed enthusiasm of being there treating his patience. He liked seeing his patients get better. I felt he spent an adequate amount of time with me and was not at all felt rushed like the rest of the family care clinics. I have never been anywhere else beside CMC and will probably never will. This place have set my level of expectation for other places. Applause to you and your staffs for a job well done. read more
