Meet the Business Owner: Carrie L.

Carrie grew up in Oregon and graduated from the University of Portland in 1998 with a major in Mechanical Engineering. While working full time, Carrie received her Master's degree in Engineering Management at Washington State University in 2003. Carrie's work experience includes positions at Georgia-Pacific and Kroger. During her career as an engineer, Carrie worked her way up from a design engineer position to Operations Manager, which included profit and loss responsibility for a union manufacturing operation of 100 employees. Carrie's work experience also includes product development and she was a patent agent before attending law school. Carrie received her legal training at Willamette Law School in Salem, Oregon. Carrie graduated in the top five percent of her class, was a merit scholarship recipient and an associate editor of the Law Review. Following graduation, Carrie worked for a Portland, Oregon law firm providing family law services and for NIKE legal.
