This place is awesome! There are fun water toys like a water park, jet-skis, boats, tubes, etc. They also have fishing supplies and fishing pontoons that are available to rent! Grandma needs to retire. This is in reference to the location at Starvation Reservoir. Club-rec is run by a family, the older matriarch seems to be in charge. My family and I rented jet skis from that location the first weekend of August 2022' I will never rent from this location again, not because the prices were high (we expect to pay for convenience) or because we got a rock stuck in the impeller that we paid $500 to have removed in about an hour (again, expensive but we signed the contract,) But because of the way we were treated. When the jet ski stopped working, we immediately got help. We told them that we followed all the rules, to which they replied "everyone says that." Translation, "we don't believe you, liar." If I asked any questions I was treated as a nuisance, a liar, and at one point, the woman I call "grandma" actually had the nerve to run her fingers over her lips in the "zip it" motion. I can usually let most things slide because I have worked many jobs with the public. I understand that people have hard days. But as someone who has been in mid level management, I would terminate an employee who did that to a customer. Treating a customer like that is simply not acceptable. To say I was floored at the unbelievably rude gesture is an understatement. The sane, dark haired man with a knee brace was much more accommodating and willing to listen. Perhaps he should be the one in charge... He did tell me however, that he had nearly gone fist to cuffs with customers because the customers would get so angry. That would explain why grandma called the park rangers down to watch me, a small middle aged woman who was just asking questions and trying to figure out what happened. Perhaps if they were handling customers properly in the first place, nothing would get that escalated. This dark haired guy told my husband that it was possible to pick up a rock off of a sandbar so despite following ALL the rules (which we were told there was NO WAY we had) we could have picked up a rock anyway, especially when water levels are low. We skipped renting the second day, not because of the cost, but because of the treatment I was given. And, as I stated before, I won't rent there again unless under new management. read more

After reading on the website they rent 3 person jet skis I packed up my family and went to east canyon specifically to rent a jet ski. When I inquired at the counter the boys informed me they only rent two person watercraft and they have.no towing capacity. It clearly states on the website they rent 3 person watercraft. False advertisement, bait and switch trick....I'm sure they just wanted me to rent two instead of one! Gaugers read more
