I don't believe my experience in the particular class described in the original review below is representative of what the studio has to offer in terms of philosophy, teaching approach, or vibe. There are a wide variety of class offerings on their schedules at different times throughout the day, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the studio spaces are beautifully maintained and in very convenient locations. These things, in addition to the integrity displayed by the owner to reach out and personally connect with me about the strange class, are going to make it worth the time and money to take classes there. (Original Review) I had been really liking my first classes at this studio since moving from out of state, but then I attended one with Rachel H and it is making me second guess whether this studio is where I need to be spending time and money. The Real Hot 21 class I just attended was supposed to be a sequence of 21 poses and 75 minutes. We started off ok, but her vibe was off right away and then it got weirder. She snapped at people making accommodations to the poses that worked better for their bodies, she threw a small hissy when people continued to adjust. She called a 3-minute savasana in the middle (longer than makes sense), and then she shorted the sequence some poses at the end (with like 10s "savasanas" between the leg stretches). She started the final savasana 9 mins before the end, shorting the class significantly. she did not model any poses the entire class, just squatted near the door. So odd. I've been taking hot yoga sequence classes for 15 years in lots of studios and have never seen such uninspired, joyless and pedantic teaching as I did this morning. Avoid her classes if you love doing yoga.

I mainly go to the Sayebrook studio, but I've been going to Magnolia lately, and both are simply amazing. The staff, the classes, THE INSTRUCTORS‍, the studios, the ease of use of the app to book classes, the locker rooms with showers and amenities for after your class, the merchandise, everyone I've met there so far ... amazing. All of it. I could not recommend Real Hot Yoga more and I will 200% be renewing my unlimited membership!

Long story short ... good gym avoid the owner David Jr…read more Long story: I have been going to this gym for a year. I always go real early in the morning and there are a few regulars that are just extremely nice and good people. The gym has good equipment and is kept in a clean, uncluttered way. Usually the owner is not in at 6:30 in the morning when I routinely leave. He was today. I got done with my hour long walk/run on the treadmill and wiped everything down that a person could possibly touch. I got my stuff and went to leave. Owner came out of his office and asked me if I was leaving and I said yes. He said, "Are you just going to leave the treadmill like that?" I walked over to the treadmill and showed him that I had carefully wiped down everything above the supports. He looked down at the track/steps and said "you left puddles". To his point, I am a large guy and I do sweat a lot. I got a rag and cleaned the sides and the belt. Someone may have complained and that may be why he was in earlier than usual. If that is the case, I apologize to whoever was bothered with how I have been leaving the treadmill. I have never seen anyone been asked to do this, and when I asked if the other people using the treadmills would be instructed to clean the base, he would not answer the question. He just kept saying "you left puddles". I have never seen anyone clean the track area, but I am happy to do it. I have a problem with the aggressive way I was approached and the lack of respect I was shown. It may be that this owner only wants fit, good looking people in his gym. I am not sure, but this seemed like it could be a bit of an issue with my size and how much I sweat. I will keep going as it is two doors down from the nicest sauna/cold plunge space! I like to go after the gym.

Great equipment, heavy dumbbells, awesome plate-loaded machines, and zero bullshit. Just a legit gym built for people who actually like to train.
