I love these folks. Dr Gardner and David Stone are 2 of the best people I've met since we've moved here from Dallas, Tx. The whole office staff are awesome and make me feel like I've been here forever. I've went through some severe trauma since we've been here. These people are the best. I'd recommend them read more

they did nothing to get me better, just the minimal. then dropped me as a patient and charged me to transfer files to a new doctor. awful doctors, use their phones too look up diagnosis every time. wth.. i leave their practice with a fatty liver, no plan to help, Hashimoto's' which is NOT addressed since i take thyroid meds, numb feet and told to lose weight or take pills. no mention of see a specialist of any sort. read more

My wife and I have been patients at this office for many years. Unfortunately, the work environment and staff have become extremely toxic, rude, condescending, confrontational, and blatantly insubordinate when addressing any care requests, almost as if they are doing you a favor. Many of the staff members we used to rely on have left for different offices, indicating a pervasive toxic environment. If you are seeking quality medical care, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. This office is not where you want to go. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment with the doctor, as they frequently push patients to see the nurse instead. Dr. Gardener is a very nice man, however he has a major staff issue and needs to fix it. read more

I have been seeing Dr Gardner for years. He is awesome. Takes his time and watches out for me on my annual. Thanks

Been anxiously waiting for dr to review my tests results. They call me this morning to let me know person I'm seeing who is not my Dr can't see me today and they can reschedule me to see her in 4 weeks. I'm worried I might have cancer. I'm in horrible pain. Barely able to walk. I said ,"No. I need to be seen today. I don't even care who I see." Thankful they booked me with Dr Stone. Nice guy but did a really cruddy job reviewing my test results. I have access to them online. He failed to address about half the findings. Like it's all no big deal. Ordered tramadol for my pain. I've taken this drug b 4 and found it completely useless. We could have talked about what he was prescribing me if he'd bothered to tell me. I would have let him know tramadol for this level of pain won't help me. I read my after visit summary and his notes and felt pretty angry. I'm in so much pain. Had a difficult time driving myself to the appointment walking into the building. He wrote that I seemed fine and not in distress. Addressed how he examined me and everything looks good. The man never touched me. Totally lying. Apparently didn't bother to listen to anything I said or just didn't care. So glad I'm done with this place. Seems like they just want my copay and I'm just a number. Idk what's happened here but it's gone way down hill. read more

I had an ultrasound done. I called and left a message to get my results if they had them ready a week after the test. No call back. I called and spoke with a nurse practitioner she said I'll call you back tomorrow. Four days later no calls. I called and talked to the receptionist. She told me it takes a week to get results. I said it's been two weeks. She told me "it is what it is". And then click transferred me to leave another message. Not professional. Not respectful. I will be telling everyone how rude the receptionist was and the lack of communication and follow through from this medical center. Update. They called back and said they called me. I said I don't have any missed calls. She says well I was standing right here and heard her so.... they need receipts. I have no missed calls no messages. No attempt from them to check if they called the right number. Very disappointing behavior from professionals. read more

I've been there for at least 15 years. Planning to stay for a long time. The wait time is minimal and Dr Yuskavage takes her time with me answering my questions and concerns. read more

After several years of being Dr Gardeners patient, I finally realized I rarely get a timely appt with him. After 10 months of going there with a bad back, the insurance company finally requested they do an MRI. I have to call for appt to get results and only ever see David Stone. Never do they ask my pain level, even after repeatedly reporting severe pain. Only after I told them I was leaving their practice for good, did I get a prescription. I'm reporting them to the medical board as well. read more

PATIENT SERVICE IS TERRIBLE from front desk and Provide Yuskavage! Front desk employees doesn't greet nor smile to patient who walk in. Provider Yuskavage walked in without knocking, no smile, and started asking a bunch of questions regarding the patient. Told patient what needed to be done and it had to be done that day! Because I said no, Yuskavage stated, "Well, you wasted my time and yours!" A terrible provider with inappropriate patient service and doesn't listen to what the patient is saying. It's all about the provider and her time, not the patient! Overall, STAY AWAY!! There's plenty of other providers and locations that values the patient instead of their time. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Gardner for over 2 years. His bedside manner is wonderful and I cant say enough about his assistant Jill. Anytime I need an appointment it is taken care of and refills are never an issue. Happy to be a patient and will continue to do so. Also, the front desk girls are always pleasant as well. read more

No matter what is going on in the world there should be no reason for a front desk employees to be rude and unprofessional. People are sick and they shouldn't have to put up with unhappy employees in the medical office. Dr. Yuskavage office has the worst front office workers. How they are allowed to be rude to patients blows my mind. read more

This staff sucks! They won't do their job. Husband had a stroke. Was told that they can't call for his medical records from the hospital that me or my husband had to request a copy from the hospital. Called the hospital & was told that if the Dr's office called they would fax the records to the office. Left a message at the Dr's office about them requesting for records. Dr's office still hasn't requested the records. My husband needs to see a neurologist. Nurse practitioner requested a referral for a neurologist. Been 2 months & still no appt for a neurologist. Called the referral dept & was told that on Dec 20th they sent a referral to the neurologist. Called the neurologist office & was told they sent the referral back to the Clovis Medical Group on Jan 8th stating they needed the hospital records before they would/could see my husband. Well today it's been 2 months since his stroke & still can't get anyone from the Clovis Medical Group to help. How does this office stay in business? How does the staff keep their job? Incompetence at it's best!!! read more

If you like the stone ages, this is the doctors office for you! Very rude staff that gets annoyed when you have questions or call for results. Their office is all paper. When I called to get results after an x-ray, I was advised they don't have results for a week and that they "don't do electronic files" Last year I was sent for an urgent (same day) chest CT. There was ZERO follow up on their end.We had to call over and over and leave multiple messages. We should have switched docs back then, but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Save your self a lot of time and go somewhere else. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Gardners for years now. Not only is he professional and thorough but he also has excellent bedside manners. His nurse (Jill) is also amazing and always friendly as well as thorough. They make a great team. As far as the front desk goes, all of the girls up there are always amazing. I am not really understanding all of the negative reviews. I have never been treated badly there. I am always greeted not only with a warm smile but they also call me by name. Overall, I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a good Dr. here in the valley. read more

First impression not the best. Called at 4:40pm Monday afternoon and was told that the staff had gone home for the day. Today when I called, and spoke with WENDY to make my new patient appointment rude. She gives me an attitude when I spelled my first name for her when she asked for my first name a second time, telling me I wasn't in the system the first time I told her my name. Not the warm welcome I was hoping for since I just dumped my doctor of 24 years for the their uncaring, unprofessional and absolutely rude staff. read more

This is the rudest place to seek medical care, one woman doctor does not know what she is doing. She acts like she is the only doctor in the world. Last week, I went to fill out the for FMLA because my mom is sick. Stone agreed to give 2 to 3 hours off for taking care my mother because my mother is 70 years old, she may have contracted COVID, during negotiations, this woman doctor jump in to ask me to go my mother's doctor to fill out the form. Does not she know the form say the leave for your mother and go to your doctor and not your mother's doctor. She loudly yelled at me to go to my mother' s doctor. No professional attitude. No caring. Then Stone even take back what he said, said he informed not to do so. This is the bully place and do not come here for medical service. They don't know what they are doing. And warm heart for clients. read more

Staff..... rude rude rude.... probably better to die at home than have this place bill me for something I can do anywhere else. My wife goes here because she is comfortable with a female doctor but the evils of the staff and unwillingness to help her with her medical condition and medication are a complete void. the staff didn't take an oath to keep people medically healthy and it shows. unfortunately you have to get past the front office to get to the doctor and I think I'll keep looking for a medical health professional who doesn't put profit over my health. read more

I've seen the doctors for years, and totally agree with most here. The docs are great, but the staff is HORRIBLE. The latest is the staff was suppose to order an MRI for me. Dark haired gal up front who is ALWAYS acting like everyone is out to personally bother her, acted like I was bothering her and said, well, I'll do it. 2 weeks later, I called, and to no surprise, NOTHING HAD BEEN ORDERED. Finally got it scheduled and it was done a MONTH after... read more

I've been seeing Dr Gardner now for 16 years and I must say that from the old office to this new building I have never had anything lower than a 5 star experience! Dr Gardner is aways calm, patient, and collected when I think I'm going to die! haha his medical assistant Jill as well as all of the MA's in this office are extremely professional and awesome women!! (I have delt with everyone in my years attending this practice)... And as for the front office staff never had or seen a problem personally all of them have been very kind through out the years! read more

Dr.Gardner is great when you can see him, I called for a sick visit and they wanted to schedule me for a month and half out "FOR A SICK VIST" they wanted me to see the np Dave Stone but every time we see him it's always wrong and we end up see Dr.Gardner. It sucks we are going to have to look for a new doctor after many years. read more

My doctor is Dr. Kasten and I absolutely love her. she's really kind and patient. the front desk staff have always been extremely rude except for one girl (don't know her name). my biggest issue is getting in at my actual appointment time. I had an appointment at 12:50 and didn't even get seen until 2:05. I understand that sometimes doctors run behind but an hour and 15 minutes is just ridiculous. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow and called to be sure I would be getting in on time as I would be going on my lunch. I was told that it was unlikely and doctors never run on schedule. WTH??? Then what is the whole point of making an appointment? Does this mean my time is not as important as theirs? I know Dr. Kasten is leaving so I will not be going back or referring anyone else over. The stars I gave are only because I do like my doctor. read more

I looked on here to see if I am just sensitive to not-so-nice people... but I am not the only one thinking the front desk is extremely rude, unprofessional, uncaring and absolutely not helpful. So if you need help or want some polite people to talk to do NOT call this place. Most people call the doctor when there are problems in their life so it would be very appreciated if people at least pretended they care to help. I am so disappointed. read more

The front staff are rude, everytime when I go I feel like I was imposing on them and wasting their time. I will have to get a new dr. I can't connect with my dr and feel like I'm not getting the care I need. Actually after my last visit the first thing I did when I got home was look into a new physician. My visits are always quick 10-15 mins. You never have to wait long so I guess that's a plus. read more

I have been a patient for over 15 years. The front office staff are rude and unprofessional. The billing department is rude too. They are sending me to collections for $100 that I am paying on monthly. They do not want to work with you at all. Very very disappointed. I like Dr Yuskavage although she doesn't spend much time with you. Because I am not paying what they want me to pay on my bill they are sending me to collections. And I can't be a patient anymore. What a terrible way to treat a long time patient who is paying her bill. read more

Have been patient with group for 25 years. Not any more. Have seen group go from 5 drs to 2. Had a spot on lung identified on cat scan. Dr Gardner wanted a pet scan to see if it was cancer. I've seen dr yuskavage for over 10 years & love her & her nurse Shelley. My entire family also sees her. She is very thorough and patient, appointments are never rushed. I see complaints on here with the front desk staff, but in the many years I've been through I personally haven't had any problems with them. I recommend Dr Yuskavage to everyone :-) great general practitioner to have, if you can get in when she is accepting new patients :) read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Yuskavage for approximately 27 years. I am employed at a local hospital and have worked along side many physicians. What stands out about Dr. Yuskavage is that she takes the time to listen to my concerns and is genuinely caring and sympathetic. She is very thorough and makes sure that I understand why certain exams or meds are being ordered. Whenever I have an appointment, I always feel confident that she will resolve my health care needs. read more

I am not overly familiar with non-military doctors but I have been pleased with Dr Yuskavage. She is thorough and listens. With that being said I will advise not to expect friendly customer service from anyone else in the office. From the time you make your appointment till the time you check out the staff treats you like you are bothering them but when you are sitting in the lobby you hear all the gossip from the counter. As much as I love the doctor the staff can make me leave the practice and take the family with me. I thought maybe it was my expectation of southern charm but my Yankee husband is as disgruntled as I am. Would say decide for yourself and let them know. read more

Dr Gardner is wonderful! Bedside manners are perfect and professional. His assistant Jill is wonderful as well. As far as all the reviews about the front desk girls are true, unfortunately. It's almost nerve wracking to walk up to check in because of the treatment, or should I say NON treatment. It's so sad that it is this way, there are a couple of wonderful staff in the back you dont getting see and the Drs are great... but the main receptionist is just not a happy person. That should be fixed.. people come in not feeling good and the first interaction starts off rocky. read more

Dr.Gardner and the Doctors on staff are excellent doctors they see tons of patients on a daily bases and are always willing to go above and beyond for there patients! The staff here is also great every one has a bad day sometimes but for the most part there staff is great if there's so many complaints I wonder why they still have so many patients???? Makes me wonder if it's just people who don't get what they want when they want it????? I'm a patient and I'm very pleased with Clovis Medical Group! read more

The doctor is great but, it is not worth it if the front desk staff in incompetent. The front desk lady is beyond rude and stupid. She should be fired. She gave me an attitude when she asked for my last name and I gave it to her and then she asked me for my first name and yelled at me saying that I said it when I told her my last name she thought was my first name. Dumb broad. If your gonna be dealing with people a good rule of advice, at least try to be nice. Therefore, I canceled my appointment because I'm not dealing with rude bitches if I am paying to be there. read more

Dr. Gardner is GREAT! I agree with the other reviewers the customer service is HORRIBLE!!! I have been in the office four times and three of those times the person in the front office has walked away from me and just left me standing without saying a word. This is after walking in and stand waiting for up to 5 minutes, just waiting for someone to acknowledge your presence. Within my family Dr. Gardner has requested the office staff to complete 5-6 referrals to specialists. According to the specialist's office it has taken two weeks to a a month for them to receive the referral. (Not sure where the hold up was, but just as a point of reference). Today was the ultimate though, the office manager insisted that a $20 fee be paid, on top of the $20 office copayment for a follow up to another appointment. The additional fee was to complete a health pysical form, while already being seen by the doctor. The fee for the same form is $5 at my son's pediatrician so office and it was not charged when the form is completed during an appointment. We are fortunately to be in a position to be able to pay this ridiculous fee but for families that are not as fortune, $20 is a significant. Oh yea, the doctor said not to charge for the form but the office manager had the final say! It is hard to find a good doctor so I will dealing with this office staff but I would NOT recommend the office to someone else without letting them know all the facts. read more

Worst customer service ever the CNA/Medical assistant think they are doctors and the doctors are rude.

The 2 stars is for Dr. Yuskavage she was good. The reason why I would not rate this place a 5 was due to the receptionist. They need to learn how to carry their private conversations else where and the attitude is a complete thumbs down there is no Profesionalism at all in the front. If you're just looking for a good doctor and don't really care much for poor receptionist then this might just be the place. read more

The office staff is so rude. I feel like I am a complete waste of their time. I have had to wait between 40-60 minutes each time just to get back to see the doctor and then wait again when I get back there. As a nurse I would never treat my patients the way the staff there does. They act like they are too busy to deal with me. When I do see the doctor I get 5 minutes of her time and referred out. I could have called and told her this and saved an hour and a half of my life. read more
