I booked Cloud 9 Decor for my wedding and they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I booked their most expensive package to get - welcome table decor - welcome sign - sweetheart table decor - cake table decor - photobooth flower arch backdrop My contact was Vanessa and she was so easy to work with, great communication skills, professional and open to feedback. She really orchestrated and took the lead on executing my vision PERFECTLY! She had mock ups and example photos of all the designs, so it was easy to work with her, despite never meeting her in person! She is reliable and on time. She also collaborates with other high quality vendors for florals (Blooming Moment), curtains and chair covers (Together Wedding Company). Her attention to detail is unmatched. She is patient as well, I had her iterate on some designs multiple times and she always responded with professionalism and openness. I can't recommend Cloud 9 enough for all your decorating needs! My wedding decor was exactly as I have imagined it all thanks to Cloud 9!

Semi-excited and with half expectations, we waited. We waited. We waited in the rain. Dryvebox was a no show. Luckily Winston from Lincoln Golf Course was around to let us know dryvebox didn't show up today. What a freaking bummer. What a flapping disappointment. I contacted dryvebox via fb, email and voicemail. After leaving a voicemail, I got a call back in less than 30 seconds. Within 5 minutes we were already set up with a new tee time. Was my first experience with dryvebox perfect? No. But if you reach out to their customer service and be patient. They will make the situation right for you and your tee mates. However, a few months before the wedding I was so overwhelmed with all the detail that Brenda offered to meet and she just helped me organized my priorities and made me feel really good about the progress I had made. She did the same 6 weeks later. OMG, so helpful to keep me going and manage the overwhelm. As the date grew nearer, she started leading more to ensure we took care of those horrible details (seating charts, signage, communication with vendors, table set ups, and the timeline, etc). At every moment she was calm, lovely, relatable, fun, reassuring, and extremely competent. The week before the wedding she came over and took ownership of all the "stuff" (candles, ceremony items, decorations, etc). That felt sooo good. She was great at the rehearsal and made sure "all the cats were herded"so we got through the rehearsal and worked out all the details. The day of the wedding? We were so relaxed and didn't think about a single thing. The tables were set exactly as we had discussed, the ambiance was amazing, every little detail she had taken care of. and then she cleaned up and stored everything for us and then brought it back to us a couple of days later. During the wedding, Brenda was a total ninja....I barely saw her at the wedding as she was in the background making it all happen so we could enjoy our guests. A guest even took a picture of her that makes her look like the super hero she is, LOL! You will LOVE working with Brenda. I cannot recommend her more vigorously. She is amazing.

Not only is Cierra hypercompetent at her job and super solutions-oriented and knowledgeable, she is a plain joy to talk to and bounce ideas off of and joke around with. Just an all-round cool human that added to the overall atmosphere of love and appreciation we wanted to foster at our wedding (while also running an impeccably tight ship without breaking a sweat). Jen is a great teacher, very kind and fun. She followed the pace we learned at and gave us tips on our technique, which was incredibly helpful (and not something you can get from a youtube video!) She's very encouraging, but isn't afraid to point out the things you should work on. The private lessons are in a bank parking lot, which sounds a little strange but it was actually PERFECT. The bank is closed by then, and the parking lot is gated, so no cars. There are lights when it gets darker. AND the lines for the parking spaces are actually a super useful tool for making sure you're staying in the right position while learning. Plus it's outdoors for Covid safety, and everyone was fully masked the whole time. I highly recommend taking at least one private lesson with Jen to get one-on-one advice! She also teaches at some free public events (Which she made sure we knew about, and encouraged us to go to). The ONLY reason we aren't going to be taking a LOT more lessons with Jen is we're moving across the country. I can't recommend her enough!

Bonus: it was also a great way to get people mixing, since everyone had a chance to practice dancing with many different partners around the circle. In addition to the great dance lesson, Hep Jen also DJ'd for our reception, playing just the right blend of jazz and swing to keep things festive. She also handled all the announcements (no easy task, as we were still figuring out what to announce up until the morning of the wedding) and the open-mike toasts all with grace and good-naturedness. She inspired my three and a half year old nephew to clear the floor with his breakdancing, and created the soundtrack for many happy conversations. I can't say enough good things about her. I've taken several swing lessons from her over the years, either at lindy in the park, Cat's Corner, and elsewhere. Her talent in teaching always evident and her genuine enthusiasm is super contagious.

Rebecca was recommended to me by a friend who is a professional wedding photographer. For me it was super important to find an amazing planner, because both my husband and I had very high-stress jobs, very little downtime, and extremely picky tastes on a tight budget. Haha quite the "winning" combination. As we started working together a year before the wedding, Rebecca, and her business partner Marisa, quickly understood what mattered to us the most when it came to the wedding (venue, food, south of France vibe) and what was secondary (stationery, fancy lighting, being super traditional, etc). They started making venue and vendor recommendations and the best part is that the options they presented were never too many to be overwhelming and never too few to leave us wanting more. Just the right number and just the right style. Picking the venue, caterer, florists, dj, officiant, you name it, was a breeze. They were also very organized with template guest lists, timelines for what is due when and always on the ball when it came to sending us reminders or getting our sign off on something. Fast forward to the big day...I remember walking into the venue before the guests arrived and gasping at how great everything looked pulled together (Rebecca had shown me photoshop mocks before but this was another story). Rebecca was like Superwoman, running everything smoothly behind the scenes, making sure that everybody had what they needed, and even made a point to bring my husband and I some of the appetizers that we missed tasting during the cocktail hour. I don't remember a single moment of feeling frustrated or wondering why something is not done...it was all pure elation of being surrounded by your friends and family in a setting out of your dreams. Rebecca and Marisa - thank you, thank you, thank you for making this day (and the entire planning process) so smooth, happy, and beautiful.

My wife and I just celebrated our five year anniversary and so much has changed since then. We had our daughter, we bought a house, we remodeled it, and lots more. Yet every step along the way, whenever we needed to look for someone to help us, whether it was our nanny, realtor, architect, contractor, etc., my wife and I would always look at each other and say, "We need the Rebecca of _____!" She continues to be our gold standard. Rebecca helped us put together the wedding of our dreams. My wife was a medical resident on the east coast and could only fly back to help with wedding planning activities a day here or there and I was busy with a demanding tech job. Yet Rebecca was able to work with our crazy arrangement and make all the logistics work flawlessly. Her taste was impeccable, her management and organizational skills were excellent, and she was so good with helping us have fun during what could have been a stressful experience. She was also great at managing vendors and being our advocates as well as managing people around us in our lives who participated in our wedding planning. In a word, she made the entire process FUN! Rebecca was able take our piecemeal ideas for the wedding and turn it into a cohesive vision. The end result was nothing short of amazing -- it was the wedding we had always wanted but couldn't even imagine ourselves. We still look back upon it fondly and I will never forget the first time we saw the ceremony lawn or the ballroom that Rebecca and Marisa set up for us. Rebecca also went to bat for us with the vendors. She brings the possibility of repeat business and they know it. Like anything in life, some things didn't go according to plan. For example, the day before the wedding, the venue disclosed that they had completely killed our ceremony lawn. My wife in I were in shock. Rebecca stepped in (literally, she stepped between us and the venue manager) and told us we should hang back for a bit while she had a "talk" with the venue manager about her expectations of them. They went for a "walk" and when they returned, the venue manager offered her sincere apologies and said we could use a different (and much better!) ceremony lawn instead and that she would be upgrading us the presidential suite for the night at no extra charge! Rebecca then made all the necessary last minute changes to accomodate the new layout of the lawn and it turned out even better than originally planned. The day of, having Rebecca and Marisa was a godsend and really allowed us to enjoy one of the most special days of our lives. They set everything up alongside the vendors, told us where to be and when, made sure we were able to take breaks, kept everything running smoothly. We didn't notice a single hiccup and we simply enjoyed getting married and spending time with our friends and family. I could go on, for example, how one year later we were ordering the wedding album and forgot what cover we liked. I emailed Rebecca thinking it was a long shot and she shot back immediately with the cover we had picked out over a year ago. Suffice it to say, I can't recommend her enough. If you go with her, you will be wowed!

The class itself was fun! We basically just messed around with clay for the 1.5 hours, layering cut outs and playing with texture. Baking took 30 minutes, and then assembly another 30. There were tons of colors, shapes, and tools to try out. There was also a birthday party there, so if you're interested in an event, this seems like a good place. Sophie let us know that we're allowed to get drinks / snacks from next door, then bring it back to eat in the lobby area by the window. The workshop seems like a lovely community space. Seems like they have events every month - Nov they'll have a free zine workshop and in December they'll sell mini wreaths. There's tons of other artsy things in there. My one suggestion for the class - it would have been lovely if there had been more pliers for assembly. I think that the shortage was the main bottleneck. The earrings look simple to put together, but because we were new and the pieces seem so fragile, it took us quite a bit of time.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Andrea for an extravagant, Wicked-themed birthday celebration at the Grand Bay Hotel in San Francisco. As a DJ, I've been part of my fair share of complex productions--but this event? This one had layers. We're talking immersive design, multiple performances, theatrical moments, choreographed timing, lighting cues, and the kind of attention to detail that would make Broadway stage managers sweat. And yet--through every twist, change, last-minute curveball, and behind-the-scenes chaos--Andrea stayed calm, composed, and genuinely joyful. That smile never left her face. It wasn't just impressive; it was inspiring. What struck me most was Andrea's emotional intelligence and natural leadership. She wasn't just checking off a list--she was reading the room, checking in on vendors, comforting the family, and still had the foresight to ensure every beat of the evening landed with intention. For us as DJs, a successful event relies heavily on the planner's clarity, timing, and communication. Andrea excelled at all three. Her cues were crystal clear, her flexibility never compromised the bigger picture, and her collaboration felt seamless. It's rare to find someone who can hold both the creative and logistical sides of event production in perfect harmony. Andrea is that rare gem. And beyond the work, there's a real human connection there--a warmth that draws people in, makes vendors want to go above and beyond, and creates the kind of synergy that guests can feel, even if they don't see it. After this event, I'm not only grateful--I'm inspired. I genuinely hope to work with Andrea and Mia Emma Love Events more in the future. I believe that if we continue to collaborate, we could create experiences that are unforgettable, meaningful, and consistently next-level. Andrea, thank you for the trust, the kindness, the professionalism, and for being exactly the kind of event partner every creative hopes for. I'm honored to have been a part of this one--and I'm already looking forward to the next. With deep appreciation, DJ Brandon Beach
