I closed on my house on March 23, 2018…read more I was asked how would I like to receive my funds whether check or wire transfer, I responded with a check please. The lady left and came back with checks for my realtor, and others but I did not receive one. I questioned as to why and was told because my house was in the city of atlanta and my water bill could not be verified I could not get my check...WHAT??? Hopefully will wait a week and the hack would be cleared and my check will be released, if not options will be made. Fast Forward a week, hack is not cleared, I called to speak with Katharine O Noble who after receiving a copy of my water bill showing what was owed, put me on to Brittany Lee Develvis. After speaking with Brittany and letting her know of my need for my funds to take care of matters concerning my potential new home, she released half of my funds. Fast Forward to April 6th 2018, I received an email from Brittany stating they have been in touch with city of atlanta and verified what was owed and whether I want the remaining funds to be wired or sent via check. I responded with wire please. No funds on Friday, no funds on Monday called Tuesday 4/10 at 10am left a message for Brittany no return call. I called back at 1530 hours finally spoke with her and let her know of the importance of needing the funds for an inspection she assured me the funds will be deposited TODAY!! of which it was not. My inspection is slotted for 9am 4/11 and when the inspector requests their funds what am I supposed to tell them? I am disabled and dont have a ton of money just relying on my funds from the sale of my home over 2 weeks ago. I am also relying on the professionalism of this firm that is clearly not there. All I want is my monies owed instead of empty promises. Formal complaint will be lodged with BBB forthwith.

Over time, I spoke with Ms King regarding a trust. Ms King explained to me I'd need to…read morecomplete/submit an Intake Form and once reviewed an invoice would be emailed to me. Upon receipt, I'd need to submit a deposit so she could start preparing the trust. Per emails and phone records, on 9/5/2025 @ 6pm I completed/emailed the Intake Form to her, which she confirmed receiving on 9/6/2025 @ 11:19am. As I had yet to receive an invoice or any further communications, on 9/18/2025 @ 2:43pm I phoned and left Ms King a voicemail message regarding the status of the invoice. I kindly requested a response by phone or email as to the status of the invoice or if she was still interested in doing business with me. As of 10/9/2025 I've yet to receive a response back. In todays world, to request a completed Intake Form and suddenly stop all communications is unprofessional and concerning. What started out as a good experience quickly changed leading me to hire another attorney.
